The TASKI swingo 350B is a scrubber dryer that is designed for commercial use
(for example, in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shopping centres, offices,
etc.).
Under strict observation of the instructions of use, it can be used for the wet
cleaning of hard floor coverings.

safety requirements of the EC guidelines and therefore carry the CE sign.
ATTENTION!
Before first start-up, it is essential that you
read the instructions of use and the safety
notes carefully.

accessible place so that they can be consulted
at any time.
Non-observance of this information can endanger people and / or
cause severe damage!

Caution:
These machines must not be used for polishing, the application of
wax, cleaning carpets or the vacuuming up of dust.
The wet cleaning of parquet and laminate floors with this machine
is carried out at your own risk.
Changes to the machine that have not been authorised by
Diversey will lead to the cancellation of the Safety Marks and the
CE conformity.
Any use of the machine contrary to its intended purpose can lead
to injuries to persons and damage to the machine and to the
working environment.
In such cases, any claims under the guarantee and warranty
claims will normally become invalid.
Persons (including children) who are not able to use this machine
safely due to their physical, sensory or mental capabilities or their
lack of experience or knowledge may not operate this machine
without supervision or instruction by a person responsible for their
safety!
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
Do not use this machine in rooms in which explosive and easily
inflammable materials (such as petrol solvents, fuel oil, dusts,
etc.) are stored or processed. The electrical or mechanical
components could lead to the ignition of these materials.
This machine must not be used in rooms that are subject to
electro-magnetic loading (electro-smog).

Do not use this machine to vacuum toxic, poisonous, caustic or
irritating substances (e.g. hazardous dusts, etc.). The filter
system will not adequately retain these kinds of materials. A
possible impairment of the health of the user and of third parties
cannot be excluded.
While operating the machine, take note of the surrounding area
and pay particular attention to third parties and children!
In particular, the speed of the machine should be reduced in the
vicinity of areas of unclear vision, for example, in front of doors or
curves.
The machine may only be used by persons who have been
suitably instructed in its use.
Neither persons or objects may be transported with the machine!
In case of damage to parts that could affect safety, such as the
tool cover, power supply cord or covers that prevent access to
current-carrying parts, the operation of the machine must be
stopped immediately!
Caution:
Repairs to mechanical or electrical parts of the machine must only
be undertaken by customer service workshops or experts
authorised by Diversey, who are experienced in all relevant safety
regulations.

Important! Switch the machine off when you:
• e.g. carry out cleaning or maintenance work, or convert the machine to
another function
• store it in a suitable room to avoid any unauthorised use of the unit
• leave it standing without supervision
Unplug the battery disconnection socket and place the machine on the parking
support in order to prevent it rolling away.
Store the machine in a dry, dust-free room with a corrosion-free atmosphere.
The temperature must not fall below +10 °C or exceed +35 °C. Low
temperatures, damp and dust can significantly reduce the service life of the
electrical components.

Preparation for operation
Batteries
Safety measures when working with batteries:

Check:
• that the brushes are not below the red marking and that the bristle length is
no less than 1 cm.
Caution:
Only maintenence-free gel traction block batteries may be used!
Please follow the instructions of use for your battery charger!
• Protective goggles must be worn when working on the
batteries.
• Do not subject batteries to an open flame or heat as there is a
danger of explosion from the electolytic gas present in the
cells!
• No smoking!
• Danger of chemical burns!
Caution:
The battery must always be clean and dry. Do not place any
metallic objects on the battery.
The integrated charging unit is only suitable for maintenance-free
gel traction block batteries.
Caution:
Batteries may only be installed or dismounted by customer
service personnel or specialists approved by Diversey who are
aware of all the safety regulations that apply here!

• Stand the machine on the parking support
before starting the charging procedure.
• Disconnect the battery from the machine using the battery disconnection
socket.
• Plug the power supply cord into the mains socket.
• The yellow indicator lights up permanently until
approx. 90% of the battery capacity has been
reached. After that, the indicator blinks until the
battery is fully charged.
• When the charging process is complete, the
green indicator lights up.
In order to protect the battery, the charging sequence is not
started after a short period of use of less than approx.15 minutes,
and the green lamp lights up immediately.
In this case, the battery is charged to more than 75%.
• Leave the power supply cord connected to the mains until you use the
machine again. The on-board charger unit automatically monitors and
charges the batteries. The energy consumption in the mode is limited to a
few milliwatts.
• If a fault occurs during the charging process as the result of a defect in the
charging unit, an interruption of a cable or a defective battery cell, the red
indicator will light up.
• Unplug the connection to the mains socket.
• Connect the battery to the machine with the battery disconnection socket.
• Check that the machine is switched off.
• Disconnect the battery from the machine using the battery disconnection
socket.
• Connect the battery disconnection socket to the external battery charging
unit (pay attention to the voltage from the mains supply socket).
Caution:
Follow the instructions of use for your battery charger!
• Switch the machine off.
Working with worn out, damaged and or wrong tools, could result
in possible damage to floors or their protective layers.
• Place the machine on the parking support.
• Remove the brush holder (2) by screwing off the
triangular handle (1).
• Insert the brush into the brush housing.
• You can push the brush upwards with your right
hand so that it will be taken up by the centring
hexagon in the brush housing.

Filling water
Dosage:
Only use chemical products recommended for the scrubber dryer by the
manufacturer.
Dosing examples (the concentration is product-dependent):

Manual setting of the functions when using for the first time
• Remount the brush holder and lock it.
• Place the squeegee on the floor in front of the
machine.
• Incline the machine to the rear and run over the
squeegee.
• Set the machine on the floor again.
• Place the locking nut in the slot provided.
• Turn the locking nut through 90°.
Caution:
Maximum permissible water temperature 60 °C/140 °F.
• Switch the machine off.
• Remove the rubber cap from the solution tank.
• Fill the solution tank with water up to the
maximum filling level.
• Replace the rubber cap on the solution tank.
Caution:
Wear protective gloves, goggles and the corresponding
(protective) work clothing when handling chemical products!
Caution:
The use of other products (e.g. products containing chlorine)
could damage or destroy the machine.

• Add the product measured with the dosing cup to the water in the solution
tank.
• The TASKI J-Flex dosing system or the QFM dosing station can also be
used for simplified and quicker dosing.
Please contact your TASKI partner for further information about these
systems.
Caution:
Always wear non-slip shoes and appropriate work clothing while
working with this machine!
• Bring the machine into the working position by
swivelling the parking support up.
• Pull the height adjustment lever on the machine
handle and slowly lower the central steel pillar
into a comfortable working position, making
sure your arms are almost straight.
• Release the height adjustment lever, and the central steel pillar will then lock
into place.
• Switch the machine on. To do this, hold down
the ON/OFF button (main switch) for 3 seconds.
• The cleaning solution button is automatically
pre-selected.
(See page 47: When switching on again)
• Press the suction unit button.
The indicators light up briefly.
• Adjust the water quantity with the volume
regulation.

One - Button Function
When the machine is switched off using the main switch, the current switch
states of the individual functions are stored and will be available once again
when the machine is switched on again.
When switching on again:

Cleaning method
Direct method:
Scrubbing and vacuuming in one pass.
Indirect working method:
Apply the cleaning solution (scrubbing only) and then scrub and vacuum. The
squeegee must be removed for this method.
The cleaning methods are described in detail in the ”Method Card”. You can
obtain this from your TASKI partner.
Refilling the solution tank
When the tools are no longer sufficiently supplied with the solution, the tank
containing the solution is empty.
Transport over stairs
• Switch the machine on. To do this, hold down
the ON/OFF button (main switch) for 3 seconds.
•Cleaning solution:

• Pull the operating lever.
By doing this the tool is activated.
• The battery indicator shows that the machine is
ready for operation

2 minutes to conclude the work before the machine switches off
automatically.
•LED permanently red:
Requires a complete charging cycle.
• Pull on the adjusting lever (1) and apply the
adjusting lever lock (2).
With this lock, the central steel pillar (3) can be
moved up and down freely.
The lock is released by pulling on the adjusting
lever again.

• Pull on the action lever to lower the wiper.
The wiper is intended above all for cleaning
under tables and benches. In this way, the
residual water can be wiped away by pulling the
machine back, and will be sucked up again
when the machine moves forwards.
Under certain circumstances, the driving of the machine can be
impaired by a special combination of surface/soiling and cleaning
product.
Caution:
Do not clean without solution, as it could cause floor damage.
• Stop cleaning.
• Drain the recovery tank, see page 48.
• Refill the solution tank, see page 46.
We would recommend that any transportation of the machine
over steps should always be carried out by two persons.
• Release the operation levers.
• Switch the machine off.
• Unplug the battery disconnection socket.
• Empty the recovery and solution tanks.
Caution:
Due to the weight of the machine, there are risks involved in such
transportation!
Slipping can result in damage to the machine and injuries to
persons.
• When lifting, one person should hold the
machine at the recessed grip by the squeegee,
and the second person at the machine handle.

End of operation
Emptying the recovery / solution tank
The disposal of the soiled water or the cleaning solution must be carried out in
accordance with the appropriate national regulations.
Proceed as follows for both tanks:

• Stop the flow of solution.
• Drive a few metres so that the tool rotates further for a short time. You will
avoid dripping by doing this.
• Allow the suction unit to continue running so that all the remaining water will
be vacuumed up.
• Release the operating lever.
• Now switch off the suction unit and then the
machine or switch off the machine directly if the
suction unit should be immediately switched on
again the next time the machine is switched on.
(See page 47: One-Button Function)
All the compoenents that have to be cleaned are marked in
yellow.
Always drain and clean the recovery tank after using the machine.
If the soiled water is allowed to stand, unpleasant smells and the
deposition of the dirt will take place after a few hours.
• Switch the machine off.
• Open the tank lid.
• To empty the recovery tank, remove the sieve
(1), turn the lid (2) to the side, and then lift the
tank from the machine.
The tank can be completely drained via the
drainage hole (2).
• You will have to screw off the filter to empty the
solution tank.
• Stop cleaning.
• Switch the machine off.
• Open the tank lid.
• Remove the coarse dirt sieve (yellow), empty and clean it.
• Turn the lid from the drainage hole.
• Remove the recovery tank and clean it under running water.
The tank can be completely drained via the drainage hole.
• Replace the recovery tank on the machine.
• Then thoroughly rinse out the solution tank with clean water.
• Check that the float is functioning correctly and that the suction filter (yellow)
is clean.
In case of damage or soiling of the float and suction filter, please refer to
page 50.
• Replace the lid of the drainage hole by pressing
it down.
Ensure that the lid locks into place.

• Switch the machine off.
1. Rinse out the tank well with water only
Fill the solution tank with water. Push the machine to the floor drain or a
suitable location. Turn the tool unit on and flush out the complete system
with water.
Then completely drain the solution tank by screwing out the filter.
2. Cleaning with chlorine tablets
Completely fill the solution tank with clear water. Add the chlorine tablets
according to the manufacturer's instructions. Switch on the tool unit and
rinse the complete system witn chlorine solution for approx. 30 seconds.
Then allow the solution to work in for 45-60 minutes in the solution tank.
3. Work at the end of operation
Completely drain out the chlorine solution by unscrewing the filter. Then
screw the filter back into the filter housing. Half-fill the solution tank with
clean water. Switch on the tool unit and flush out the complete system
with clean water. Flush out the solution tank well. Drain any remaining
water out of the solution tank, and then screw the filter back into the filter
housing. Leave the tank lid open, and allow the solution tank to dry out
completely.
Do not add any detergent to the chlorine solution, as AOX
(adsorbiing organic halogen compounds) could arise. These are
environmentally dangerous and poisonous.
Caution:
Never add chlorine tablets to acid solutions. (development of
chlorine gas). Always instruct your personnel about this! Only
decalcify when necessary, and never use chlorine tablets at the
same time!

Store chlorine tablets at a safe distance from any acidic products.
Always instruct your personnel about this!
Caution:
Clogged filters reduce the flow of the cleaning solution. As a
consequence you may damage the floor coating.
• Switch the machine off.
• Once the solution tank has been emptied, screw
the filter of the solution tank on again.
• Rinse the filter under running water.
The filter must be decalcified when necessary.
The filter is lower than the tank outflow. A residual amount of
solution will flow out once the filter cap has been unscrewed.
• Refit the solution filter.

Service, maintenance and care
The machine's maintenance is a pre-condition for trouble-free running and a
long life.
• Switch the machine off.
• Stand the machine on the parking support.
• Remove the brush holder (2) by screwing off the
triangular handle (1).
• Pull the brush from the brush housing.
• Clean the tools under running water.
• Switch the machine off.
• Stand the machine on the parking support.
• Remove the squeegee by turning the locking
screws.
• Clean the squeegee under running water using
a brush.
An optimal vacuuming result can only be achieved with clean and
intact blades!
• Switch the machine off.
• Stand the machine on the parking support.
• Open the tank lid.
• Remove the recovery tank and the squeegee.
• Pull the suction hose out of the holder in the
vertical position.
• Clean the suction hose with running water so
that soiling will be flushed out.
The suction hose is not marked in yellow, but it is nevertheless
important that it should be cleaned after every ending of the
cleaning operation.
This will prevent any blockage of the suction hose.
• Switch the machine off.
• Stand the machine on the parking support.
• Open the tank lid.
• Remove the recovery tank.

• Remove the hoses from the cover.
• Remove the cover (1) and the water
distributor (2).
• Clean the cover (1) and the water distributor (2)
under running water.
Caution:
Never clean the machine with high water pressure or a
water hose.
The ingress of water into the machine might cause considerable
damage to mechanical or electrical parts.
• Wipe down the machine with a damp cloth.
We recommend disconnecting the battery from the machine using
the battery disconnection socket when stroring / parking the
machine.
Store the machine on the parking support and
with the tank lid open. The tank can thereby dry
out completely. The formation of moulds and
unpleasant smells can thereby be reduced.
Caution:
Never store the machine for a longer period with a discharged
battery. The battery could be damaged by this, and may no longer
be functional.
Caution:
Only TASKI branded spare parts must be used, otherwise
warranties and liabilities will be omitted!

Service intervals
TASKI scrubber dryer machines are built to the highest quality standards, and
their safety is checked in the factory and by authorised inspectors. Electrical
and mechanical parts are subject to wear or aging if used for long periods of
time.
Service centre
Should you contact us due to a malfunction or for placing an order, please
always state the type, description and the serial number of your machine.
You can find this information on the name plate of your machine, and the
address of your nearest TASKI partner can be found on the last page of this
manual.

Disassembly:
Malfunctions
• In order to maintain operational reliability and
availability for use, the service must be carried
out after 250 working hours or at least once a
year.
Under rough or extreme working conditions and/or insufficient maintenance,
shorter periods are necessary.
• Stand the machine on the parking support.
• Remove the squeegee by turning the locking
screws.
• Unscrew the triangular handle (1) and pull the
blade body (2) out of the squeegee body.
• You can now turn or replace the blade.
• Reinsert the blade body into the squeegee body and screw on the triangular
handle again.
• Stand the machine on the parking support.
• Press down the wiper by hand until the
snappers (1) for the cover plate appear.
• Press the snapper lugs (2) to the back until the
cover plate (3) can be removed.
• You can now turn or replace the blade.
• Now remount the cover plate (3). Ensure that
the snapper lugs (2) latch in correctly.
Caution:
Danger of injury from clamping the fingers!

• The yellow suction filter can be easily removed
(quick-fit seal).
• Clean it with water using a brush (let it dry out
well).
• Brush the yellow suction filter with a soft brush
or remove the fluff with a cloth.

Transport
• Disconnect the battery from the machine using the battery disconnection
socket.
• Empty the machine.
Always transport the machine with the body in the upright position.
Make sure that the machine is securely fastened within the transportation
vehicle and is secured against tipping over.
Refer to page 51 for the dimensions and weights.
Disposal
When it has reached the end of its operational life, the machine and its
accessories must be disposed of according to the national regulations. Your
TASKI partner can support you with proper disposal upon notification.
Batteries
The batteries must be removed from the machine before it is handed over for
proper disposal. Used batteries are to be disposed off in an environmentally
friendly way according to in the EC Directive 91/157/EEC.

• Pull the height adjustment lever and fold the
guide pillar towards the front.
• Let go of the height adjustment lever, the guide
pillar will locate into place and stay at that angle.
• To lift the machine, the first person should use
the recessed grip by the squeegee while the
second person uses the recessed grip in the
rear cover.
