ADJUSTING PULL TAB LENGTH
fRemove Lace Spool from the Pull Tab Pocket. (Figure E)
fWind lace around the spool to shorten the length of the Pull Tab. Unwind Lace from the spool to lengthen
the Pull Tab.

fInsert Lace Spool back into Pull Tab Pocket. (Figure E)

APPLICATION
BRACE APPLICATION
fApply the brace by centering the Posterior (Rear) Section (Figure I) at the posterior midline so the inferior portion of the belt is just superior to the crease in
the buttocks
.
fWrap the Belt Wings anteriorly, approximately 1” (2.5 cm) above the greater trochanter (widest part of the hips) and secure the hook and loop attachment
on the anterior (front) side of the patient.

fBefore tightening the brace make sure the Posterior (Rear) Section is positioned evenly on both sides of the patient. In order to achieve optimal comfort and
fit, it may be necessary to readjust and reposition the two (2) Belt Wings to the Posterior (Rear) Section.
fTo apply compression, grasp the Pull Tab with the thumb and pull away from the body until reaching the desired compression, then secure the hook portion of
the Pull Tab to the Belt Wing.

BRACE REMOVAL
fDetach the Pull Tab from the Belt Wings so the tension becomes loose, then reattach the Pull Tab on the Belt Wings close to the Posterior Section. (Figure K)
fDetach the hook and loop connection on the Belt Wings and remove belt.
BELT PAD SET (OPTIONAL ACCESSORY)
fSlide Belt Wing through the elastic strap on the Belt Pad ensuring the anti-slip material is facing the patient and is oriented horizonatally along the Belt
Wing.

fRepeat on the opposite Belt Wing.
