6 Intended use
The ventilation system is intended to be installed in motor caravans, leisure boats, caravans and recreational vehicles.
The device is not suitable for:
• Houses
• Apartments
• Cruiseline
• Construction machines
• Agricultural machines
• Trucks
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor in-
stallation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from:
• Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those described in this manual

7 Technical description
The ventilation system is used to ventilate the air inside a vehicle in which it is installed on a high rate without change
of the internal temperature. The air from inside the vehicle is drawn out of the vehicle by a fan through the heat ex-
changer. The energy of this air is stored in the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger rotates continuously and releases
the stored energy back into the air stream, that is drawn from the outside of the vehicle by a second fan into the interi-
or. During the air exchange, the air is kept clean and energy loss is minimized.
The ventilation system can be connected to a smartphone, tablet or laptop via Bluetooth to control the appliance via
the Dometic Climate App.
The ACC3100D has four different air and climate modes.
•AUTO mode: The AUTO mode ensures that the ventilation system is automatically turned on when the air in
the vehicle is poor or the humidity is high. In this mode the ventilation system automatically turned off when

the air in the vehicle is good or the humidity is comfortable. The performance of the air exchanging is automat-
ically adjusted.
•TURBO mode: The TURBO mode ensures maximum air exchange. The fans rotate with the maximum speed.
•SLEEP mode: The SLEEP mode ensures a more quiet exchange of air. The fans rotate at a low speed.
•STORAGE mode: The STORAGE mode ensures that the vehicle automatically activates the TURBO mode up
to 3 h a day to prevent the formation of mold in the vehicle depending on the humidity.
As an option, the ventilation system has an air purifier that is intended to clean the air and to reduce dust, odors, par-
ticles and mold in the vehicle. The air purifier is also available as an accessory (Accessories on page4).

Symbol Description
The current air quality.
0 segements lights up: The air quality measurement sensor is in the initialization state or the sensor data is un-
stable.
1 segement lights up: The air quality is poor or worse.
2 segements lights up: The air quality is worse or average.
3 segements lights up: The air quality is good.
Indicates the air purification is active (optional).

8 Operation
8.1 Hints for improved use
Observe the following instructions for use to ensure the ventilation system is used efficiently:
• Keep doors and windows closed to minimize energy loss.
• If the vehicle is powered by an internal power source, reduce the power consumption of other equipment to
ensure the longest possible operating time of the ventilation system.
• Select a suitable operation mode and light brightness.
• Ensure that the grilles are not covered.
8.2 Switching on/off
Note The ventilation system can give off a slight smell when first used. The smell disappears after a short
time.
Press the button to switch the ventilation system on or off.

8.3 Selecting the mode
The AUTO mode is selected at turn on.
1. Press the button.
• The indicator lights up.
• The TURBO mode is activated.
2. Press the button.
• The indicator lights up.
• The SLEEP mode is activated.
3. Press the button.
• The indicator lights up.
• The AUTO mode is activated.
4. Press the button.
The mode selection is repeated from the beginning (see step 1).
Selecting the STORAGE mode
CAUTION! Health hazard
Connect the vehicle or the ventilation system to the mains to prevent the ventilation system from discharg-
ing the battery.
Press the button for 3 s to activate the storage mode.
The displayed symbols flashes once and then disappears, excluding the button.
The indicator lights up.
Press the button for 3 s to deactivate the storage mode.
The symbols that were displayed before the STORAGE mode was activated are displayed in sequence on the dis-
play.
8.4 Adjusting the light (optional)
The LED light strips can be dimmed in 3 different levels.
Press the button to adjust the brightness.
Each press of the button increases the brightness. After level 3, the LED light strips turn off and the level se-
lection is repeated from the beginning.
8.5 Using the Dometic Climate App
The Dometic Climate App can be used to control the ventilation system via the mobile phone or to update the
soware of the ventilation system.
Note Depending on the screen in the Dometic Climate App, a < button is displayed, which allows to
switch to the previously displayed screen.

Pairing the ventilation system and the Dometic Climate App
Note Once the ventilation system is paired with the Dometic Climate App, the pairing is always activated
automatically as soon as the ventilation system, the Bluetooth of the mobile phone and the Dometic Cli-
mate App are switched on again after being switched off.
1. Download the Dometic Climate App.
Scan the QR code or follow the link:qr.dometic.com/bdw7LR
2. Ensure the ventilation system is switched on (Switching on/off on page7).
3. Activate Bluetooth on the mobile phone.
4. Open the Dometic Climate App.
Settings for permissions appears.
5. Allow or deny the permissions by tapping the corresponding answers.
The welcome screen appears.
6. Click the Add new device button.
7. Select the ventilation system.
8. Press the button on the ventilation system for 3 s.
The ventilation system display flashes once.
The Dometic Climate App displays a pairing screen. When the pairing is completed the ventilation system is dis-
played.
9. Tap the Next button.
A confirmation appears that the ventilation system has been selected and connected.
10. Tap the OK button.
11. If available, enter the login data and tap the Login button.
12. If necessary, tap the Sign up button to create an account.
13. Fill in the fields.
14. Tap the Sign up button to sign up or tap the Already have an account? button to return to the Log
in screen.
Updating the ventilation system software
1. Ensure that the ventilation system and the Dometic Climate App are paired.
2. Ensure to be logged in to the Dometic Climate App.
3. Tap the button in the Dometic Climate App.
A selection of settings appears.
4. Tap Devices to display the paired devices.
5. Select the ventilation system.
Information about the ventilation system is displayed.

6. Tap Check Updates to check for software updates for the ventilation system.
The Dometic Climate App show the current update, if applicable.
7. If availabe, tap Download.
The update download has been finished when Update is displayed.
8. Tap Update.
The update status is displayed in percent. When the update is completed in the Dometic Climate App, the
Dometic Climate App automatically connects the mobile phone to the ventilations system via Wi-Fi and transmits
the update to the ventilation system. The Dometic Climate App indicates when the software has been updated
and disconnects the Wi-Fi connection.
9 Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING! Electrocution hazard
Always turn the ventilation system off during cleaning and maintenance.
Cleaning
NOTICE! Damage hazard
• Do not clean the ventilation system with a high-pressure cleaner.
• Do not use sharp or hard objects or cleaning agents for cleaning as these may damage the ventila-
tion system.
• To clean the roof ventilation system, use water with a gentle cleaning agent. Never use petrol,
diesel or solvents.
Occasionally clean the appliance with a so, damp cloth.
Clean the display from time to time with a slightly damp cloth.
Regularly remove leaves and other dirt from the air and climate grilles of the ventilation system. Ensure you do
not damage the grilles in the process.
Maintenance
WARNING! Electrocution hazard
This appliance may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Improper repairs can lead to considerable
hazards.
Check the air filter bevor and after each season for blockages.
Replace the air filter if it is blocked.
Replace the outside air filter if the indicator lights up (see Replacing the interior air filter on page10).
Contact a authorized service agent if the indicator lights up to replace the interior air filter.
Replace the air filter at least every 2 to 3 years.

10 Troubleshooting

10.2 Resetting the ventilation system
If the display is blocked, it must be reset.

11 Disposal
Recycling products with batteries, rechargeable batteries and light sources: Remove any batteries,
rechargeable batteries, and light sources before recycling the product. Return defective or used batteries
to your retailer or dispose of them at collection points. Do not dispose of any batteries, rechargeable bat-
teries, and light sources with general household waste. If you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask
your local recycling center or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the ap-
plicable disposal regulations. The product can be disposed free of charge.
Recycling packaging material: Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wher-
ever possible.
