Installation
The DSE9701 (24V 5A) & DSE9702 (12V 5A) battery charger are de igned to be mounted
vertically within a control panel, on the panel DIN rail utili ing the integral mount or on a cha i
utili ing the mounting hole . For dimen ion and mounting detail , ee overleaf.
DSE battery charger are fit-and-forget. They are permanently connected to the upply and the
load, with no requirement to di able the charger during time of heavy load ( uch a engine
cranking) or when in parallel with a charging alternator.
Battery Suitability
The charger i factory et by DSE to uit Lead Acid batterie but can be adju ted at the time of
ordering to uit other battery type .
Care mu t be taken to en ure the batterie connected to the charger are of the correct
‘technology’ to uit the etting of the charger.
Indications
The Battery Charger feature an LED indicator( ) to how the battery charger Status.

Boost Mode
Boo t mode i operated by connecting the BOOST terminal together for in tance with an
external witch or timer circuit. Thi will rai e the battery charger floating voltage by 0.8V DC.
