SONDELTOX are 4-20mA detectors using electrochemical technology for detection of toxic
gases and O2in polycarbonate housing.
Compatible with DURGAS & EUROSONDELCO (using interface)
Available gases: Carbon Monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2),
Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Monoxide (NO), Sulphidric Acid (H2S), Chlorine (Cl2),
Oxygen (O2) and Hydrogen (H2).

SONDELTOX Verification & maintenance

TESTING (one-man only)
To carry out a verification test to SONDELTOX (with the exception of SONDELTOX O2), follow
the next steps:
1º Cover the detector during 15 min. with the plug provided and keep it
for future tests.
2º Place a multimeter at the scale of 200mV, in parallel, with the yellow
and green cable.
3º Adjust through the ZERO potentiometer of the detector circuit until a
reading of 40mV (4mA) is reached.
4º Remove the detector plug.
For SONDELTOX O2 zeroing, adjust the potentiometer until obtaining a measurement of
178mV, equivalent to 20.9% of O2, in a wide and well ventilated room.
ZEROING (annual)
Adjust the Zero, at least once a year, following the instructions of the detector technical
datasheet.
CALIBRATION
The detectors recalibration with gas must be carried out at our laboratories.
