Damit Sie viele Jahre Freude an Ihrem Produkt haben, lesen Sie bitte diese Bedie-
nungsanleitung, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise, aufmerksam durch.
Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig auf und geben Sie sie gegebenenfalls
an den neuen Besitzer weiter.
Alle Dokumente zum Produkt stehen im Internet unter www.pro.duravit.com zum
Download bereit.
2.1 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Whirlwanne ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz im Privatbereich bestimmt, welches
die Verwendung in Hotelzimmern, Wohnheimen u.ä. einschließt, ausgeschlossen ist
die medizinische Verwendung. Der Gebrauch ist auf das Hausinnere beschränkt. Sie
dient einzig zum Baden und ist nach jedem Gebrauch zu entleeren.
Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Die Duravit AG übernimmt
keine Haftung für Folgen nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauchs.
2.2 Sicherheitshinweise
Nachfolgende Sicherheitshinweise aufmerksam lesen und befolgen!
Elektrische Geräte entfernen, aufgrund der Gefahr eines möglichen Stromschlags.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich keine elektrischen Geräte in der Nähe der Whirlwanne
befinden.
Lüftungsgitter und Luftspalt zwischen Wanne und Boden niemals verdecken. Whirl-
system kann beschädigt werden.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Lüftungsgitter und Luftspalt zwischen Wanne und Boden
frei sind und durch nichts verdeckt werden.
Dieses Produkt ist nur für den Gebrauch durch erwachsene Personen bestimmt.
• Kinder und Personen, denen es an Wissen oder Erfahrung im Umgang mit dem
Produkt mangelt, oder die in ihren körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fä-
higkeiten eingeschränkt sind, dürfen das Produkt nur nach Unterweisung bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauches des Produktes oder unter Aufsicht benutzen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Kinder nicht mit dem Produkt spielen.
Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Bad, ob die Whirlwanne beschädigt ist.
• Sollte etwas beschädigt sein (Risse, abgebrochene Ecken…), darf die Whirlwanne

nicht benutzt werden (auch nicht zum Baden).
Baden Sie nur bei voller Gesundheit.
• Nehmen Sie kein Bad bei Symptomen einer Grippe, grippalem Infekt oder anste-
ckenden Krankheiten.
• Bei gesundheitlichen Einschränkungen, vor allem Blutdruckstörungen, Blutungs-
neigungen, Herz- oder Venenerkrankungen, akuten Entzündungen bzw. Infekten,
niedrigem oder hohem Blutdruck, Kreislaufproblemen, Diabetes oder Schwanger-
schaft, vor Gebrauch den Arzt konsultieren.
• Bei Einnahme von Medikamenten vor Gebrauch den Arzt konsultieren.
• Nehmen Sie kein Bad bei Einnahme von Alkohol oder anderen Rauschmitteln.
• Keine Benutzung unmittelbar nach starken körperlichen Anstrengungen.
Zu lange Badezeiten belasten den Kreislauf.
• Verlassen Sie bei den ersten Anzeichen umgehend die Whirlwanne.
• Das Whirlsystems wird automatisch 20 Minuten nach der Aktivierung ausgeschal-
ten, eine längere Badezeit ist nicht zu empfehlen.
Nur geeignete Badezusätze verwenden.
• Verwenden Sie nur Badezusätze für Whirlwannen.
• Die Verwendung von schaumbildenden Badezusätzen ist aufgrund der durch das
Whirlsystem verursachten Schaumbildung nicht empfehlenswert.
• Die Verwendung von Badesalzen, Moorbädern u.ä. sind aufgrund der möglichen
Ablagerungen im Whirlsystem nicht empfehlenswert.
3. Symbolbeschreibung
Folgende Warnzeichen machen Sie auf gefährliche Schritte aufmerksam:
VORSICHT Beschreibt eine gefährliche Situation, welche zu leichten Verlet-
zungen führen kann, wenn sie nicht verhindert wird.
ACHTUNG Beschreibt Schäden, die nicht die Person betreffen.

4. Produktinformation
4.1 Airdüsen
Vorgewärmte Luft aus 12 Airdüsen (Luftdüsen) umsprudelt den gesamten Körper.
4.2 Sound (optional)
3 Körperschallwandler sorgen für optimalen Klang und Musikgenuss über und un-
ter Wasser. Über Bluetooth können Sie eine externe Audioquelle anschließen und Ihre
Lieblingsmusik einspielen.
5. Bedienung
ACHTUNG
Desinfizieren Sie das Whirlsystems vor der ersten Benutzung, nach jedem zehnten
Bad, aber mindestens einmal im Monat sowie nach längeren Standzeiten.
5.1 Whirlwanne anschalten
ACHTUNG
Schalten Sie die Whirlwanne nach Benutzung aus.
>Schalten Sie den Hauptschalter an.
5.2 Whirlwanne ausschalten
ACHTUNG
Warten Sie mindestens 10 Minuten nachdem das Wasser abgelassen wurde, bevor Sie
die Whirlwanne ausschalten, damit die Rohrleitungen automatisch von Wasserresten
befreit werden.
>Warten Sie bis die Wanne vollständig entleert ist.
>Nach ca. 2 Minuten startet der Ausblasvorgang.

>Warten Sie bis der Ausblasvorgang beendet ist (ca. 4 Minuten).
>Schalten Sie den Hauptschalter aus.
5.3 Airdüsen an-/ausschalten
>Drücken Sie die Taste „Air“.
Air-System wird an-/ausgeschaltet.
5.4 Ausblasvorgang manuell starten
Voraussetzung: Wanne ist leer
>Drücken Sie kurz die Taste “Air“.
Die Kontrollleuchte blinkt, der Ausblasvorgang ist aktiviert.
>Warten Sie bis der Ausblasvorgang beendet ist (ca. 4 Minuten).
? Sie haben den Ausblasvorgang gestartet und möchten ihn abbrechen.
>Drücken Sie erneut kurz die Taste “Air”.
5.5 Sound anschalten (optional)
Voraussetzung: bluetoothfähige Audioquelle mit Protokoll A2DP.
>Schalten Sie den Hauptschalter an, der Bluetooth-Modus ist aktiviert.
>Aktivieren Sie den Bluetooth-Modus Ihrer Audioquelle, wie in dessen Bedienungs-
anleitung beschrieben.
>Suchen Sie nach dem Bluetooth-Gerät „Duravit“ und stellen Sie eine Verbindung zu
diesem her.
>Geben Sie den Aktivierungscode ein: „2412“.
>Bedienen Sie Ihre Audioquelle um Musikwahl und Lautstärke zu ändern.

6. Reinigung und Pflege
ACHTUNG Beschädigungen von Oberflächen durch falsche Reinigungsmittel.
Benutzen Sie nur von Duravit empfohlene Reinigungsmittel.
6.1 Whirlsystem desinfizieren
Wie oft?
Desinfizieren Sie das Whirlsystem vor der ersten Benutzung, nach jedem zehnten Bad,
aber mindestens einmal im Monat sowie nach längeren Standzeiten.
Wie?
VORSICHT
Chlorbleichlauge ist hautreizend.
>Sicherheitshinweise des Desinfektionsmittels beachten.
>Während der Desinfektion NICHT in der Whirlwanne baden.
> Sorgen Sie für eine gute Belüftung des Raums während des Vorgangs.
> Füllen Sie die Wanne mit Wasser.
> Geben Sie 2%ige Chlorbleichlauge nach Herstellerangaben in das Wasser. (ca. 15ml)
> Schalten Sie die Airdüsen für 20 Sekunden ein.
> Lassen Sie das Wasser in der Wanne 5 Minuten ruhen.
> Schalten Sie die Airdüsen erneut für 20 Sekunden ein.
> Lassen Sie das Wasser ab und spülen Sie die Wanne aus.
> Füllen Sie die Wanne erneut mit Wasser.
> Schalten Sie die Airdüsen für 20 Sekunden ein.
> Lassen Sie das Wasser ab.
> Warten Sie bis die Wanne vollständig entleert ist.
> Nach ca. 2 Minuten startet der Ausblasvorgang.
> Warten Sie bis der Ausblasvorgang beendet ist (ca. 4 Minuten).
> Schalten Sie den Hauptschalter aus.
> Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang falls nötig.

6.2 Sanitäracryl
Reinigung
>Reinigen Sie Acryl mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch.
>Verwenden Sie das Duravit Pflegeset für Acryloberflächen für die gelegentliche
Grundreinigung und zur Entfernung hartnäckiger Flecken.
>Entfernen Sie stärkere Verschmutzungen mit warmem Wasser und einem flüssigen
Reinigungsmittel, Geschirrspülmittel oder Seifenlauge.
Beschädigungen
>Beseitigen Sie Kratzer und andere oberflächliche Beschädigungen mit dem Duravit
Pflege- und Reparaturset für Acryloberflächen (Art.-Nr. 790302 00 0 00 0000).
6.3 DuraSolid A
ACHTUNG Beschädigung des Produkts durch falsches Reinigungsmittel
oder Kosmetika.
>Verwenden Sie keine konzentrierten Säuren oder Laugen (z.B. Natronlaugen/Kali-
laugen/Abflussreiniger).
>Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Aceton, spülen Sie die Wanne bei Kontakt umge-
hend mit klarem Wasser aus.
>Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Nagellack, Lippenstift und sämtlichen Haarfärbe-
mitteln. Verunreinigungen dieser Art können nur durch Schleifen entfernt werden.
>Verwenden Sie keine kratzenden oder harten Schwämme.
Durch die Nichtbeachtung dieser Hinweise kann die Oberfläche beschädigt werden.
Reklamationen, die durch falsche Reinigung und Pflege entstehen, werden von der
Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.
Wanne reinigen
>Säubern Sie die Oberfläche mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch.
>Entfernen Sie leichte Verschmutzungen mit warmem Wasser und etwas handelsüb-
lichem Spülmittel oder Essig- /Zitronenreiniger.
>Entfernen Sie starke Verschmutzungen mit einem Schmutzradierer, warmem Was-
ser und etwas handelsüblichem Spülmittel oder Essig- / Zitronenreiniger.
?Verschmutzung ist auch nach der Reinigung sichtbar?
>Entfernen Sie die Verschmutzungen mit einem weichen Tuch und etwas Scheuermilch.

?An der Oberfläche ist ein Seidenglanz-Effekt entstanden?
>Schleifen Sie die behandelte Stelle mit einem Scotch Brite-Schwamm oder 1000er
Schleifpapier, um das matte Aussehen der Oberfläche wieder herzustellen.
Wanne abspülen und trocknen
>Spülen Sie nach Behandlung die Wanne mit klarem Wasser gut aus.
>Trocknen Sie die Wanne mit einem weichen Tuch.
6.4 Bedienelement
>Reinigen Sie das Bedienelement mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch.
6.5 Abdeckung Ablauf
>Reinigen Sie die Abdeckung des Ablaufs mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch.
7. Hilfe im Problemfall
VORSICHT
Die Whirlwanne darf nur durch ausgebildete Sanitärinstallateure bzw. Elektroinstalla-
teure repariert werden.

2. For your Safety
Please read these operating instructions carefully, particularly the safety instructions,
to ensure that you will enjoy your product for years to come.
Keep them in a safe place and in the case of a change in ownership, please ensure they
are given to the new owner.
All documents relating to this product are available to download on the Internet at
www.pro.duravit.com.
2.1 Normal use
The whirltub is to be used exclusively on private property, including in a hotel room, in a
residential home or other similar situations and is not to be used for medical purposes.
Use is limited to indoors. It is to be used solely for bathing and emptied after each use.
Any other usage is deemed as not corresponding with normal usage. Duravit AG as-
sumes no liability for abnormal usage.
2.2 Safety instructions
Please read and comply with the following safety instructions!
Remove electrical devices to eliminate the risk of a possible electrical shock.
• Ensure that there are no electrical devices in the vicinity of the whirltub.
Never cover ventilation grilles and air gaps between the tub and floor. Whirl system
may be damaged.
• Make sure that the ventilation grilles and air gap between the tub and floor are
unobstructed and not covered by anything.
This product is designed to be used only by adults.
• Children and persons with insufficient knowledge or experience in handling the
product, or who have limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, may only use
the product following proper instruction or when supervised.
• Make sure that children cannot play with the product.
Always check that the whirltub is not damaged before use.
• If something is damaged (cracks, broken corners…), the whirltub must not be used
(not even for bathing).

Bathe only when in good health.
• Do not use the whirltub if you have symptoms of influenza, a common cold or an
infectious disease.
• Consult your doctor before using the tub if you suffer from high or low blood pres-
sure, blood pressure irregularities, a tendency to bleed, cardiac or vascular illness,
acute illnesses or infections, circulation problems, diabetes or if you are pregnant.
• If taking medication, consult a doctor before using the whirltub.
• Do not use the whirltub while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Do not use the whirltub immediately after strenuous physical exercise.
Bathing for too long puts strain on the circulation.
• Leave the pool immediately at the first signs of hyperthermia.
• The whirl system switches off automatically 20 minutes after activation; bathing for
a longer period of time is not recommended.
Use only suitable bathing substances.
• Use only bathing substances intended for whirltubs.
• The use of bathing substances that foam is not recommended due to the foaming ac-
tion of the whirltub system.
• The use of bath salts, mud baths, etc. in the whirltub system is not recommended
because of possible deposits.
3. Description of Symbols
The following warning signs warn you of dangerous situations and their severity:
CAUTION Indicates a hazardous situation which could result in minor or
moderate injury if not avoided.
NOTICE Is used to address practices not related to physical injury.

4. Product Information
4.1 Air nozzles
Preheated air bubbling from 12 air nozzle invigorates the entire body.
4.2 Sound (optional)
3 structure-borne sound converters ensure optimal fidelity and enjoyment above and
under water. You can connect an external audio source and listen to your favourite mu-
sic via Bluetooth.
5. Operation
NOTICE
Disinfect the whirltub system before using it for the first time, and then after every
tenth bath, but at least once a month and after a long period of no use.
5.1 Switching on the whirltub
NOTICE
Switch off the whirltub when finished.
>Switch on the main switch.
5.2 Switching off the whirltub
NOTICE
After the water has drained, wait at least 10 minutes before switching off the whirltub
so that any remaining water drains automatically from the pipes.
>Wait until the tub has emptied completely.
>The air cleaning process starts after about 2 minutes.
>Wait until the air cleaning process is finished (about 4 mins.).

>Switch off the main switch.
5.3 Switching the air nozzles on / off
>Press the "Air" button.
Switch the air system on/off.
5.4 Starting the air cleaning process manually
Prerequisite: tub is empty
>Press the "Air" button briefly.
The monitoring light is flashing, the air cleaning process is activated.
>Wait until the air cleaning process is finished (about 4 mins.).
? You have started the air cleaning process and want to cancel it.
>Press the "Air" button briefly again.
5.5 Switching on the sound (optional)
Prerequisite: Bluetooth capable audio source with protocol A2DP.
>Switch on the main switch; the Bluetooth mode is activated.
>Activate Bluetooth mode on your audio source as described in its operating instruc-
tions.
>Search for the "Duravit" Bluetooth device and establish a connection to it.
>Enter the activation code: "2412".
>Select music and adjust the volume on your audio source.
6. Cleaning and Care
NOTICE The surfaces may be damaged by using the wrong cleaning agents.
Only use a cleaning agent that is recommended by Duravit.

6.1 Disinfecting the whirltub system
How often?
Disinfect the whirltub system before using it for the first time, and then after every
tenth bath, but at least once a month and after a long period of no use.
How?
CAUTION
Chlorine bleach irritates the skin.
>Observe the safety instructions on the disinfectant label.
>Do NOT bathe in the whirltub while disinfecting it.
> Ensure that the room is well-ventilated during the disinfection process.
> Fill the tub with water.
> Add 2% chlorine bleach to the water in accordance with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions (approx. 15 ml).
> Turn on the air nozzles for 20 seconds.
> Allow the water in the tub to settle for 5 minutes.
> Turn on the air nozzles again for 20 seconds.
> Drain the water and rinse the tub.
> Fill the tub with water again.
> Turn on the air nozzles for 20 seconds.
> Drain the water.
> Wait until the tub has emptied completely.
> The air cleaning process starts after about 2 minutes.
> Wait until the air cleaning process is finished (about 4 mins.).
> Switch off the main switch.
> Repeat the process as necessary.
6.2 Sanitary-grade acrylic
Cleaning
>Clean acrylic with a soft damp cloth.
>Use the Duravit Maintenance Set for Acrylic Surfaces for the occasional thorough
cleaning and for removing stubborn spots.
>Remove extensive soiling with warm water and a liquid detergent, dish washing
liquid or soap suds. Do not use anything abrasive as this will cause damage.

Damage
>Remove scratches and other surface damage with the Duravit Acrylic Surface Main-
tenance and Repair Set (ID No. 790302 00 0 00 0000).
6.3 DuraSolid A
NOTICE Damage to the product as a result of using the wrong cleaning
agent or cosmetics.
>Do not use concentrated acids or alkalis (e.g. caustic soda/caustic potash/drain
cleaner).
>Avoid contact with acetone; rinse the tub with clean water immediately in case of
contact.
>Avoid contact with nail polishes, lipsticks and all hair dyes. Stains of this type can
only be removed by sanding.
>Do not use abrasive or hard sponges.
Failure to observe these instructions may damage the surface. Complaints due to im-
proper cleaning and care will not be covered by the warranty.
Cleaning the tub
>Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth.
>Remove light soiling with warm water and some standard detergent or vinegar-/
lemon-based cleaning agent.
>Remove heavy soiling with a magic cleaning eraser, warm water and some standard
detergent or vinegar-/lemon-based cleaning agent.
?Soiling is still visible after cleaning?
>Remove the soiling with a soft cloth and some scouring agent.
?A silky gloss effect has emerged on the surface?
>Rub the treated area with a Scotch Brite sponge or 1000 grade super fine sandpa-
per to restore the matt appearance of the surface.
Rinsing and drying the tub
>Rinse the tub well with clean water after the treatment.
>Dry the tub with a soft cloth.

>Clean the control panel with a soft, damp cloth.

>Clean the drain cover with a soft, damp cloth.

The whirltub may be repaired only by a qualified plumber and electrician.
