Dynamite Nitro Field Charger User manual

Nitro Field Charger
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the DC Nitro Field Charger peak
detection charger. Charging 1-cell ni-starters, 6- to 8-cell,
and 4- to 5-cell Ni-Cd and Ni-MH battery packs safely
and efficiently has never been so easy. Just select a charge
rate of 1, 2 or 4 amps and press the appropriate start
button. The charger will automatically stop fast charging
when it senses the pack is fully charged and enters a safe
trickle charge mode to equalize cell voltage and maintain
full charge.
The beeper volume can be adjusted to suit the charging
environment. Simply use a small flat-bladed screwdriver to
adjust the alert volume from the front of the charger.

Supplying Power to the Charger
The Nitro Field Charger is powered using the provided
alligator clips connecting the charger to a 12-volt DC power
source, such as a 12V hobby battery (HAN102), a 12-volt
power supply or an automobile battery.
Connect the red (positive) end of the alligator clips to
the red terminal of the DC power source and the black
(negative) end of the alligator clips to the black terminal
of the DC power source. If you choose to power the
charger with an automobile battery, never do so with the
automobile running!

flash, and the beeper will sound approximately every
90 seconds.
When the battery has peaked, the Nitro Field Charger will
