INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this appliance read all
instructions and cautionary markings in this
manual and on the appliance.
When using an electrical appliance, basic
precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
WARNING
These warnings apply to the appliance,
and also where applicable, to all tools,
accessories, chargers or mains adaptors.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC
SHOCK OR INJURY:
1. The appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
2. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close
attention is necessary when used by or near
children. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
3. Use only as described in this Dyson Operating
Manual. Do not carry out any maintenance
other than that shown in this manual, or
advised by the Dyson Helpline.
4. Suitable for dry locations ONLY. Do not use
outdoors or on wet surfaces.
5. Do not handle any part of the plug or
appliance with wet hands.
6. Do not use with a damaged cable or plug.
If the supply cable is damaged it must be
replaced by Dyson, its service agent or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid
a hazard.
7. If the appliance is not working as it should, has
received a sharp blow, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors, or dropped
into water, do not use and contact the
Dyson Helpline.
8. Contact the Dyson Helpline when a service
or repair is required. Do not disassemble the
appliance as incorrect reassembly may result
in an electric shock or fire.
9. Do not stretch the cable or place the cable
under strain. Keep the cable away from
heated surfaces. Do not close a door on the
cable, or pull the cable around sharp edges or
corners. Arrange the cable away from traffic
areas and where it will not be stepped on or
tripped over. Do not run the appliance over
the cable.
10. Do not unplug by pulling on the cable. To
unplug, grasp the plug, not the cable. The use
of an extension cable is not recommended.
11. Do not use to pick up water.
12. Do not use to pick up flammable or
combustible liquids, such as petrol, or use
in areas where they or their vapours may
be present.
13. Do not pick up anything that is burning or
smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or
hot ashes.
14. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts
of the body away from openings and moving
parts, such as the brush bar. Do not point the
hose, wand or tools at your eyes or ears or put
them in your mouth.
15. Do not put any object into openings. Do not
use with any opening blocked; keep free
of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may
reduce airflow.
16. Use only Dyson recommended accessories
and replacement parts.
17. To avoid a tripping hazard, wind the cable
when not in use.
18. Do not use without the clear bin and filter
in place.
19. Do not leave the appliance when plugged in.
Unplug when not in use and before servicing.
20. Do not pull or carry by cable or use cable as
a handle.
21. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not work with the appliance above you on
the stairs.
22. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Unplug before connecting any tool
or accessory.
23. Always extend the cable to the red line but do
not stretch or tug the cable.
24. Hold the plug when rewinding onto cable reel.
Do not allow the plug to whip when rewinding.
25. FIRE WARNING – Do not apply any fragrance
or scented product to the filter(s) of this
appliance. The chemicals in such products are
known to be flammable and can cause the
appliance to catch fire.

PETUNJUK
KESELAMATAN
PENTING
Sebelum menggunakan peralatan ini, baca
semua petunjuk dan tanda peringatan di
dalam petunjuk ini dan pada peralatan.
Ketika menggunakan peralatan listrik,
prosedur dasar harus selalu ditaati, termasuk
yang berikut:

Peringatan-peringatan ini berlaku
terhadap peralatan, dan tergantung
situasi, juga terhadap semua perangkat,
aksesori, pengisi daya, atau adaptor listrik.
UNTUK MENGHINDARI RISIKO
KEBAKARAN, SENGATAN LISTRIK,
ATAU CEDERA:
1. Peralatan ini tidak dimaksudkan untuk
digunakan oleh orang-orang (termasuk
anak-anak) dengan kemampuan fisik,
sensorik atau mental yang kurang, atau
kurangnya pengalaman dan pengetahuan,
kecuali jika mereka diberi pengawasan atau
instruksi mengenai penggunaan peralatan
oleh orang yang bertanggung jawab atas
keselamatan mereka.
2. Jangan biarkan alat ini dijadikan mainan.
Diperlukan perhatian khusus ketika peralatan
digunakan oleh atau di dekat anak-anak.
Anak-anak harus diawasi untuk memastikan
bahwa mereka tidak bermain-main dengan
peralatan ini.
3. Gunakan hanya sesuai Petunjuk Penggunaan
Dyson ini. Jangan lakukan pemeliharaan
selain yang ditunjukkan di dalam
petunjuk ini, atau disarankan oleh Saluran
Bantuan Dyson.
4. KHUSUS penggunaan di tempat kering.
Jangan gunakan di luar ruang atau di atas
permukaan basah.
5. Jangan pegang bagian apa pun dari steker
atau peralatan dengan tangan basah.
6. Jangan gunakan dengan kabel atau steker
yang rusak. Kabel daya yang rusak hanya
boleh diganti oleh Dyson, teknisi servisnya,
atau pihak lain yang memenuhi persyaratan
untuk menghindari bahaya.
7. Apabila peralatan tidak bekerja
sebagaimana seharusnya, telah terkena
benturan, terjatuh, rusak, dibiarkan di
luar ruang, atau terjatuh ke dalam air,
jangan gunakan dan hubungi Saluran
Bantuan Dyson.
8. Hubungi Saluran Bantuan Dyson bila
memerlukan servis atau perbaikan.
Jangan membongkar peralatan karena
pemasangan kembali yang tidak tepat
dapat mengakibatkan sengatan listrik
atau kebakaran.
9. Jangan meregangkan kabel atau
membebaninya. Jauhkan kabel dari
permukaan panas. Jangan sampai kabel
terjepit pintu dan jangan menarik kabel
memutari tepi tajam atau sudut. Jauhkan
kabel dari area lalu lalang dan letakkan
di tempat orang tidak menginjak atau
tersandung olehnya. Jangan melindas kabel
dengan peralatan ini.
10. Jangan mencabut steker dengan menarik
kabel. Untuk mencabut steker, pegang steker,
bukan kabel. Penggunaan kabel ekstensi
tidak disarankan.
11. Jangan gunakan untuk mengambil air.
12. Jangan gunakan untuk mengambil cairan
yang mudah menyala dan mudah terbakar,
seperti bensin, atau di tempat-tempat yang
terdapat cairan tersebut atau uapnya.
13. Jangan mengambil benda apa pun yang
menyala atau berasap, seperti rokok, korek
api, atau abu panas.
14. Jauhkan rambut, pakaian longgar, jari,
dan semua bagian tubuh dari bukaan dan
bagian-bagian bergerak, seperti batang
sikat. Jangan arahkan selang, tongkat,
atau alat ke mata atau telinga, atau
memasukkannya ke mulut Anda.
15. Jangan letakkan benda apa pun di bukaan.
Jangan gunakan dalam keadaan bukaan
tersumbat; bersihkan dari debu, serat
kain, rambut, dan apa pun yang dapat
menghambat aliran udara.
16. Hanya gunakan aksesori dan suku cadang
pengganti yang direkomendasikan Dyson.
17. Untuk menghindari bahaya tersandung,
gulung kabel ketika sedang tidak digunakan.
18. Jangan gunakan tanpa penampung kotoran
dan filter terpasang.
19. Jangan tinggalkan peralatan ketika
tersambung. Cabut steker ketika tidak
digunakan dan sebelum pemeliharaan.
20. Jangan tarik atau angkat dengan
menggunakan kabelnya atau menggunakan
kabel sebagai gagang.

21. Gunakan dengan lebih berhati-hati ketika
membersihkan tangga. Jangan bekerja
dengan peralatan di atas Anda ketika berada
di tangga.
22. Matikan semua kontrol sebelum mencabut
steker. Cabut steker sebelum menyambung
perangkat atau aksesori apa pun.
23. Selalu panjangkan kabel hingga garis merah
tetapi jangan regang atau sentak kabel.
24. Pegang steker ketika menggulung
kabel ke gulungan kabel. Jangan
biarkan steker terbanting-banting ketika
menggulung ulang.
25. PERINGATAN KEBAKARAN – Jangan
memberikan pewangi atau produk
pengharum ke filter peralatan ini. Zat kimia
dalam produk semacam ini diketahui mudah
terbakar dan dapat menyebabkan peralatan
tersulut api.
