TO THE OFF POSITION AND MECHANISM SPRINGS
DISCHARGED.

DISCONNECT THE EQUIPMENT FROM THE SUPPLY.
USE ONLY AUTHORIZED SPARE PARTS IN THE REPAIR
OF THE EQUIPMENT. THE SPECIFIED MAINTENANCE
INTERVALS AS WELL AS THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR
REPAIR AND EXCHANGE MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED
TO PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE TO
THE SWITCHBOARD.
Section 1: General information
IZM drawout circuit breakers come in a variety
of continuous current and interrupting ratings. To
prevent the insertion of a drawout circuit breaker
into a cassette with which it is incompatible,
rejection interlock key plates are provided for
both the circuit breaker and the cassette. As the
breaker is pushed into the cassette, the interlock
pins on the breaker move past the pins in the
cassette if they are compatible.
Required tools
• 10 mm socket and drive
• 10 mm wrench

Section 2: Installation of rejection
bracket kit
Proceed with the following three steps:
Step 1: From Table 1 determine the number and location of stop
nuts (B), washers (D), and hex bolts (C) to be used. All parts are
not required for all assemblies. Insert bolts and lock washers into
the appropriate holes in the rejection bracket (A), and assemble stop
nuts from the other side. Torque to 8–10 ft-lbs (10.5–13 Nm).

Step 2: Assemble the bracket assembly to the floor of the cassette
as shown using two M6 x 10 mm thread-forming crimptite screws
(E). Torque to 8–10 ft-lbs (10.5–13 Nm).
If the cassette is for use with an IZM32 breaker up to 3200A, or an
IZM97 breaker with a rating of 4000A, the installation is complete.
If the cassette is for use with an IZM40 or IZM63/IZM99 breaker,
proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: On cassettes for use with an IZM40 or IZM63/IZM99
breaker, install two identical rejection bracket assemblies as shown
in Step 1 and Step 2.

Abschnitt 1: Allgemeine
Informationen
IZM Leistungsschalter in Ausfahrtechnik
gibt es in verschiedenen Nennströmen und
Bemessungskurzschlussausschaltvermögen.
Um zu verhindern, dass ein Schalter in einer
Kassette montiert wird, für die er nicht
geeignet ist, werden Kodiervorrichtungen
für die Kassette und den Leistungsschalter
mitgeliefert. Wenn der Schalter eingefahren
wird, müssen die Kodierungsstifte des Schalters
zur Kodiervorrichtung der Kassette passen.
Benötigtes Werkzeug
• Steckschlüssel NW 10mm
• Maulschlüssel 10mm

Abschnitt 2: Einbau der Kodiervorrichtung
Führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus:
Schritt 1: Entnehmen sie der Tabelle 1 die Anzahl der
benötigten Kodierstifte (B), der Fächerscheiben (D) und der
Sechskantschrauben (C) sowie deren Installationsposition.
Beachten Sie, dass je nach Baugröße des Schalters nicht alle
beiliegenden Teile genutzt werden. Stecken Sie die Schrauben
mit den Fächerscheiben in die entsprechende Position (wie in
Tabelle 1 beschrieben) der Kodiervorrichtung (A) und schrauben
Sie die Kodierstifte von der anderen Seite an (MA= 10.5–13 Nm).

nmerkung:A Die dargestellte Kodierstiftanordnung dient nur als Beispiel.
Schritt 2: Schrauben Sie die Kodiervorrichtung mit den
gewindeformenden M6 x 10 Schrauben (E) an den Kassettenboden,
wie in Abbildung 3 gezeigt (MA= 10.5–13 Nm) an.
Wenn die Kodiervorrichtung für eine IZM40 oder IZM63/IZM99
Kassette vorgesehen ist, gehen Sie zu Schritt 3 über, ansonsten ist
die Installation abgeschlossen.

Schritt 3: Wenn die Kodiervorrichtung für eine IZM40 oder IZM63/
IZM99 Kassette vorgesehen ist, dann schrauben Sie eine weitere
Kodiervorrichtung an den Kassettenboden (nachdem Sie auch für
diese Kodiervorrichtung Schritt 1 und 2 ausgeführt haben).
