EGIM 4-20mA entrance module supplies the easy connection of gas detectors
from the outside to the system and control panel. Each module includes 8
pieces of 4-20mA channels. The addressable entrance module connects to
the gas control panel by loop.

Detector Connection
Labels and cable functions should be stated in the cablings made.
A proper cabling should be supplied for electrical terminals.
For 4-20mA output detector connection in Vcc (collector supply voltage)
supply from the place indicated with V+ as shown in Figure 3, and as for the
place indicated with GND (ground), by making ground connection, you can
make the entrance connection from the entrances between IN 0-8.
4-20mA output detector connection can be made up to 8, you can make
the connection as shown in Figure 4.

Cable Properties
The cable to be connected between detector and panel should have 1.5mm2
horizontal cutting at minimum and absolutely include ground cable. For each
loop, maximum cable length should be 1000m. Recommended cable: LIYCS
3X1.5 insulated cable (cord).

In this part, the detector mounting is told. Please do not start the mounting
operation before understanding the system, parts and the working principle
of the system. You are recommended to start mounting after reading the
warning and the points to take into consideration.
WARNING
Anti-static measures should be taken before touching electronic materials.
Mounting and maintenance should be done by authorized personnel. The
failures to cause damage after interventions to be made the device before
reading the user manual completely, can exclude the device outside the scope
of warranty.
Wall-Mounted
First of all, open the cover of the detector.
Make the cabling of the places where 20mm cable sleeves to come.
Find the 4 pieces mounting places shown with number 1.
Select a clean and smooth wall for eye level. Pay attention to mount a place
without air current, fan and vibration. Not recommended to be mounted
closer to devices with radio frequency. Pay attention to be mounted to a
suitable place for calibration and maintenance.
Mount from the required places by using M3x30 mm screw and Ø 6mm
socket for the detector mounting.

Make the detector connections of 4-20mA entrance module.
Power-up the module.
Start automatic learning module from the control panel and introduce the
device to the system.
You can see the data over the control panel.

FIRST OPENING

The errors occurring in the detector come to the control panel as error.
If there is communication error, the cable connections should be checked.
The disconnections occurring in cables can cause error.
In case of the existence of a different error, contact to the service.
Pay attention to make the connections right while connecting.
Do not charge reverse and do not make short circuit.
In case of a problem, turn off the power and contact to the service.
