Quick Start
1. SoniqSync™ Installation – An installation wizard will guide you
through the installation of SoniqSync. SoniqSync software provides
wireless automated playlist synchronization between your PC & Aireo™.
(Note: Internet access is required to install the latest SoniqSync™
software updates on your PC.)
2. Aireo™ Firmware Update – While connected to your PC,
SoniqSync will install the most recent version of Aireo firmware to provide
the latest available features for your Aireo player.
3. Detecting Aireo – SoniqSync will detect your Aireo and prompt you
to complete installation. Choose “Ok” to finish the installation and add
your Aireo™ to the SoniqSync players list.
4. Playlists on Aireo – Aireo comes preloaded with music,
compliments of Liquid 8 Records and Entertainment. Enjoy!

Functions
Turn Aireo™ On Press the POWER button on the lower right side of theplayer.
Turn Aireo™ Off Press the POWER button and select either Standby or Off. Aireo™ will
go into Standby state by default after a few seconds.
MENU Button
Press the MENU button to display the Main Menu. Press up or down on
the Navigation Keypad to scrollthrough and highlight entries on the menu
list. Press the PLAY/SELECT button to select a highlighted menu item.
To exit menu mode,press the MENU button until you have exited.
MODE Button Press the MODE button to change to another Aireo™ mode or
application. Applications include MP3 Player, FM Stereo, SoniqSync™,
and File Caddy.
Select a playlist
Press the MENU button to enter the main menu, scroll down to “Browse”
entry and press the PLAY/SELECT button. On the Browse view, you may
look through Playlists, Genres, Artists,or Albums to find a groupof songs
you want to play. Scroll to the desired playlist and select it using the
PLAY/SELECT button. Your selection will begin to play.
Play a song
Press the MENU button to enter the main menu, scroll down to “Play A
Single” entry and press the PLAY/SELECT button. On the Play A Single
view, you may look through Playlists, Genres, Artists, or Albums to find a
specific song you want to play. Scroll to the desired song and select it
using the PLAY/SELECT button. Your selection will begin to play.
Pause a song While music is playing, press the PLAY/SELECT button. A single press of
the PLAY/SELECT button will pause music play. Pressing the
PLAY/SELECT button again will re-start music play.
Stop a song
While music is playing, press and hold the PLAY/SELECT button for a
moment. A press (and hold) of the PLAY/SELECT button will stop music
play. Pressing the PLAY/SELECT button will begin music play again from
the beginning ofthe song.

Adjust Volume While music is playing, press up or downbuttons on the Navigation
Keypad. A volume level bar will display your adjustment.
Play next song When listeningto music on the MP3 Player view, press the right arrow
button on the Navigation Keypad.
Play Previous Song When listeningto music on the MP3 Player view, press the left arrow
button twice on ofthe Navigation Keypad.
Listen to FM Stereo To listen to the FM Stereo,press the MODE button untilthe “FM Stereo”
application appears. Press the left or right arrow buttons on the
Navigation Keypad. Press once to SEEK and hold a moment to SCAN.
Download new music
While Aireo™ is connected to SoniqSync™ on your PC, download your
favorite playlists. Press the “Sync Playlist” button on the SoniqSync™
view. From the Sync Playlist view you may select playlists from your
music folders, Windows Media® Player, orMusicmatch® Jukebox. Select
a playlist and press the “Open”button. For wireless synchronizationand
sync scheduling options,please see the SoniqSync™ User’s Manual.
Transmit music to an FM
Stereo
Set your local radio to Aireo™ pre-set transmitter station 88.1. Aireo™
will automatically transmit music when you unplug the headphones from
you player while music is playing. Aireo™ will play on your local radio!

Turn Backlight
On/Off
The Aireo™ backlight display is automatically set to turn ‘On’ whenever
you press a button on the player. It will turn ‘Off’ automatically too. To
change backlight settings, review the Preferences – User Settings section
of the Aireo™ User’s Manual for more instruction.
Reset Player If for any reason your playerlocks up or does not respond to the keypad,
reset the player using the RESET switch. The RESET switch is located
on the back of theplayer. Press using a paper clip.
– Special Features
Wireless Downloads – SoniqSync™ can send music and data
files wirelessly to Aireo™ from your PC.
Scheduled Downloads – SoniqSync™ can automate and
schedule music playlist synchronization between your PC and Aireo™.
FM Transmitter – Aireo™ offers an integrated FM Transmitter
enabling play your music on any FM stereo.
FM Stereo – Aireo™ has an internal FM receiver with seek and
scan.
File Caddy – Transfer or store computer files on Aireo™ through a
USB connection.
Aireo™ Accessories – Look for Aireo™ Desktop-Dock and
Aireo™ Auto-Dock for expanded usability and convenience.
Let’s Get Started!
1. Connect Aireo™ to the power adapter.
2. Plug Aireo™ into your PC USB port and turn on.
3. On your PC desktop, open the My Computer
window to view attached devices.
4. Double-click the drive letter assigned to your
Aireo™. (It may be listed as a “Removable Disk”.)
5. Launch the “setup.exe” installation program.

drive folder.
