Einführung
Dieser Leitfaden beschreibt die Möglichkeiten, die EM2GO-EV-Ladestationen der Duo Power-Serie auf die
Werkseinstellungen zurückzusetzen.
Bei Bedarf kann die Ladestation auf die Werkseinstellungen (Standardwerte) zurückgesetzt werden.
Das Zurücksetzen auf die Werkseinstellungen kann auf drei Arten erfolgen:
•Mit einem OCPP-Backend
•Über das Webinterface
•Per Tastendruck
Achtung: Beim Zurücksetzen auf die Werkseinstellungen werden alle vorgenommenen Änderungen auf die
Standardeinstellungen zurückgesetzt.
Werkseinstellungen per OCPP-Backend
Dieser Abschnitt gilt nur, wenn die EV-Ladestation mit einem OCPP-Backend verbunden ist. Wenn Sie kein
Backend verwenden, können Sie diesen Abschnitt überspringen.
Zum Zurücksetzen über OCPP senden Sie bitte einen "DataTransfer"-Befehl mit den folgenden Werten an
die Ladestation:
•Vendor ID: EM2GO
•Message ID: vendorCommand
•Data: factoryChargePoint
Die EV-Ladestation wird eine "Accepted"-Meldung zurücksenden, nachdem der Befehl korrekt gesendet
wurde. Nachdem die Werkseinstellungen geladen wurden, wird dringend empfohlen, die EV-Ladestation neu
zu starten.
Hinweis: Wenn Sie nicht sicher sind, wie der obige Befehl zu senden ist, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren
Backend-Anbieter.
Werkseinstellungen per Webinterface
Um die EV-Ladestation über die Webschnittstelle zurückzusetzen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Öffnen Sie die Weboberfläche und melden Sie sich an. Hilfe zum Zugriff auf die Weboberfläche
finden Sie im Handbuch.
2. Klicken Sie auf "System".

3. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche "Factory Reset".
4. Die EV-Ladestation wird die Standardwerte laden.
5. Um die EV-Ladestation neu zu starten, klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche "Reboot".
Werkseinstellung mittels Taste
Falls kein Zugriff auf das OCPP-Backend und die Weboberfläche möglich ist, kann die Ladestation auch per
Knopfdruck zurückgesetzt werden.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um die EV-Ladestation per Knopfdruck zurückzusetzen:
1. Öffnen Sie die Abdeckungen der beiden Schlösser auf der rechten Seite der Ladestation und
entriegeln Sie die Schlösser mit den Schlüsseln.
2. Öffnen Sie die Tür der Ladestation.
3. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die EV-Ladestation eingeschaltet ist.
4. Drücken Sie die Taste K1 mit einem Stift oder einem ähnlichen Gegenstand und halten Sie sie
15 Sekunden lang gedrückt (siehe Abb. 1).
Es ertönen zwei Signale. Das erste Signal ertönt nach 4 Sekunden. Halten Sie die Taste
gedrückt, bis das zweite Signal ertönt und lassen Sie die Taste los.
5. Das EV-Ladegerät startet automatisch neu und lädt die Standardeinstellungen
(Werkseinstellungen).
6. Das EV-Ladegerät ist nach 20 Sekunden wieder einsatzbereit.

Speicher formatieren
Wenn weiterhin Probleme auftreten und unser Support Sie gebeten hat, den Speicher der Ladestation zu
formatieren, können Sie die Formatierung wie folgt durchführen:
1. Schalten Sie die EV-Ladestation aus.
2. Lokalisieren Sie die Taste K1 auf der oberen linken Seite der Hauptplatine (siehe Abb. 1).
3. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste K1 mit einem Stift oder einem ähnlichen Gegenstand.
4. Schalten Sie das EV-Ladegerät ein, während Sie die Taste gedrückt halten.
5. Lassen Sie die Taste K1 los und drücken Sie sie erneut einmal.
6. Der Speicher wird formatiert. Dies ist ein automatischer Vorgang.
7. Schalten Sie das EV-Ladegerät nach 10 Sekunden aus und schalten Sie es wieder ein.
Achtung: Formatieren Sie den Speicher nur, wenn es notwendig ist. Beim Formatieren werden auch die
Protokolle und das Frontend des Webinterface gelöscht. Um die Front-End-Dateien wiederherzustellen, lesen
Sie bitte die Anweisungen zur Aktualisierung der Firmware.

Introduction
This guide describes the possibilities to factory reset the EM2GO EV charging stations of the Duo Power
series.
If needed, the EV charging station can be reset to factory (default) settings.
Factory reset can be done in three ways:
•With an OCPP backend
•Through the web interface
•By button
Caution: When doing a factory reset, all changes made will be revert to the default settings.
Factory reset by OCPP backend
This section only applies if the EV charging station is connected to a OCPP backend. If you do not use a
backend, you can skip this section.
To reset by OCPP, please send an “DataTransfer” command to the EV charger with the following values:
•Vendor ID: EM2GO
•Message ID: vendorCommand
•Data: factoryChargePoint
The EV charging station will return an “Accepted” message, after the command has been properly sent. After
the factory setting were loaded, it is highly recommended to reboot the EV charging station.
Note: If you are unsure how to send above command, please contact your backend vendor.
Factory reset by web interface
To reset the EV charging station via the web interface, proceed as follows:
1. Open the web interface and log in. For help on accessing the web interface, please refer to the
manual.
2. Click on "System".
3. Click in the button “Factory Reset”.
4. The EV charging station will load the default values.
5. To reboot the EV charging station, click on the button “Reboot”

Factory reset by button
In case there is no OCPP backend and web interface accessible, it is possible to reset the EV charging
station by button.
To reset the EV charging station by button, proceed as follows:
1. Open the covers of the two locks on the right side of the charging station and unlock the locks
with the keys.
2. Open the door of the charging station.
3. Make sure the EV charging station is turned on.
4. Press and hold the button K1 with a pen or similar item for 15 seconds (see fig. 1).
Two signals will sound. The first signal sounds after 4 Seconds. Keep holding the button, until the
second signal sounds and release the button.
5. The EV charger will restart automatically and will load the default (factory) settings.
6. The EV charger is ready to be used after 20 seconds.

Format memory
If problems persist, and if our support asked you format the memory of the EV charging station, you can
perform a format as follows:
1. Power off the EV charger.
2. Locate the button K1 on the upper left side of the main board (see fig. 1).
3. Press and hold the button K1 with a pen or similar item.
4. Power on the EV charger while keeping the button pressed.
5. Release the K1 button and press it again once.
6. The memory will be formatted. This is an automated process.
7. Power off the EV charger after 10 seconds and power it on again.

Caution: Only format the memory if necessary. Formatting will also remove the logs and the internal web
interface front end. To recover the front-end files, please refer to the firmware update instructions.
