Do not open the ink cartridge package until you are ready
to install it in the printer. The cartridge is vacuum packed to
maintain its reliability.
 

For the initial setup, make sure you use the ink cartridge that came with
this printer. This cartridge cannot be saved for later use. The initial ink
cartridge will be partly used to charge the print head. This cartridge may
print fewer pages compared to subsequent ink cartridges.
     

Connect the power cord and plug in.


Open the feeder guard and then slide the edge guide to the right.


Connecting the Printer to a Smart Device

Menghubungkan Printer ke Perangkat Pintar
Wi-Fi Direct (Simple AP) Connection

Koneksi Wi-Fi Direct (Titik Akses Sederhana)
You can connect up to four smart devices directly to the printer. The printer
acts as an access point.
  
     
Anda dapat menghubungkan maksimum empat perangkat pintar ke printer

ASelect Wi-Fi Setup on the home screen, and then press OK.

BPress the dbutton to select Wi-Fi Direct, and then press OK. Check
the message, and then press OK.

If you are using an access point with its default settings, the SSID and
password are on the label. If you do not know the SSID and password,
contact the person who set up the access point, or see the documentation
provided with the access point.

If your wireless router has a push button (WPS), you can also use Push Button
Setup (WPS). Select Push Button Setup (WPS), push the button on your
wireless router, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

You can manually connect to an access point from the printer’s control panel.
To set up manually, you need the SSID and password for an access point. See
the User’s Guide (digital manual) for more details.
     

Use only the AC adapter supplied with the product and do
not use the adapter with any other equipment. Use of any
other adapter with this product or the use of the supplied AC
adapter with other equipment may result in re or electric

change in performance. Do not adjust controls that are not
covered by the operating instructions.

Do not leave the printer in direct sunlight, near heaters, inside
cars or other locations that are subject to high temperatures.
The printer may be deformed or ink may leak.

pacemakers. Radio waves from this product may adversely

If the LCD screen is damaged, contact your dealer. If the liquid

immediately.
   

Keep ink cartridges out of the reach of children.

Be careful when you handle used ink cartridges, as there
may be some ink around the ink supply port. If ink gets on
your skin, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water. If
ink gets into your eyes, ush them immediately with water.
If discomfort or vision problems continue after a thorough
ushing, see a doctor immediately. If ink gets into your mouth,
see a doctor right away.
   

