Lift Engine Replacement for LiFe Powered Carts

To prevent equipment damage, discharge body static before handling
the printed circuit boards or any module containing a printed
circuit board. To discharge body static, use a conductive wrist strap
attached to a good earth ground or discharge body static by touching
a grounded bare metal surface. Handle printed circuit boards or
modules by their edges once removed from protective antistatic bags.

holding down the AC Outlet
Power button for 1 - 3 seconds.
Power light will shut o.

15 Remove ground wire if present, then remove the four screws and Arm or Lift.
If removed, save the star washer from the ground wire for reattachment.

14 Unlock CPU and remove all contents in the storage area.
13 Open worksurface.
16 Unplug all cables from the USB hub.

17 Remove left rear worksurface portion and save for attachment to the new head unit.
If present, disconnect the two UI cables and pull them down and out through the bottom of the head unit.

Remove drawer keypad if present.

Unscrew the bottom cabinet 2x

Remove the top drawer(s).

Loosen nut.

Insert two screws and leave
them protruding to allow
head unit to hang on them.
Attach the two bottom screws and if removed, attach the ground wire with star washer, then
tighten top two screws.

Insert new lift engine and screw in.

29 Engage brake cable.
Insert ball end of cable into brake.
Tighten cable tension
(do not tigthten nut at this time).
tighten nut.
Replace brake cover.

Slide the bottom drawer cabinet only halfway onto the bottom tracks of the top
drawer. If you do not have a bottom drawer skip to step 32.

Attach drawer cabinet to lift engine. If you do not have a drawer - skip to step 33.

the left rear worksurface portion you previously removed.

35 Plug in all cables from the USB hub.
36 Reattach arm or lift with the 4 screws and ground wire with star washer.
