The Guide of ER-20 Glass Heated Bed Replacement
Package includes: Glass bed x 1, Compression spring x 5 (gift) (for the upgrade of ER20 glass bed).
When you get the package, please check these parts and read this quick guide carefully in case of any
wrong operation or damage to your glass bed even to your 3D printer.

Preparation
1. Glass Bed
2. Compression Spring(12mm)
3. Allen key
4. Ruler
5. A4 Paper (You can use this guide to level the bed)
Steps
1. Remove the old glass and its clips with the Allen key. Loosen the 9 screws on the aluminum base
plate and then remove the plate. On the center and the four corners of the aluminum base plate, put
springs on the rivet to thread the rivers through the springs.
2. Tighten the screw at the center of the aluminum base plate close to but not over its maximum torque.
Unscrew it about 6~7 circles. Check if the screw on the aluminum base plate has been put in place
tightly enough.
Checking Method: Press on left and right side of the aluminum base plate. If there is any gap
between the screw and the plate (1~2mm), it means that this step finished.

3. Put the ruler vertically like the picture below, there must be no gap between the ruler and plate.
We can use an A4 paper to check if there is no gap. If there is a gap and the A4 paper can be inserted
in it very easily, you have to loosen corresponding screws till the A4 paper cannot be inserted in the
gap anymore.
According to your situation, use the Allen key to adjust the 5 screws to make sure the plate is flat in the two
diagonal directions (there is no gap between the ruler and plate). Then we finished the level of the bed. So you
just need to mount the glass bed then you have finished the bed replaces and upgrade.
