Please read instructions before commencing installation and retain for future reference.

• Class: 2. Double insulated. Does not require earth connection. Protection against electric shock.
• IP Rating: 20 Protected against solid foreign objects of 12.5mm Ø and greater. Protected against
vertical falling water drops when enclosure is tilted up to 15º.
• Voltage: AC 220 - 240V~50/60Hz.
• Maximum Ambient temperature range: 20ºC - 40ºC.

• Battery: 6V 7.0Ah sealed lead-acid rechargeable battery (Maintenance free).
• Charge time: 20 - 24 hours
• Duration time: Night Light - 200 hours / High speed - 6 hours / Low speed - 8 hours
IMPORTANT:
• Please read this manual carefully before you start using this luminaire in full charge.
• Make sure that the voltage is correct before plug-in.
• Charge the luminaire when light goes dim.
• Charge the unit for 8 hours at least every three months.
• Turn off the switch when the luminaire is not in use.
• Theefciencymaydecreaseiftheluminaireisusedorchargedwhentemperatureisbelow0°Corabove40°
• Toavoiddamagetotheluminaire,pleasedonotuseanyotherspeciedbattery.
• Toavoidelectricalshock,pleasedonotopentheluminaireunlessbyaqualiedperson.
How to operate
• Unit can be operated on either AC mains or built-in DC rechargeable battery.
How to recharge (see drawing 4)
• Ensure that the fan is turned off during charging to prolong battery life.
• Make sure the voltage is correct before charging luminaire.
• When the battery indicator light starts to dim, the luminaire requires recharging.
• Open the cord cover, plug into the AC power supply.
• Charging indicator turns red showing fan is charging.
When fully charged indicator turns green.
• Remove plug from AC power supply.
• Charge the lamp periodically for at least 8 hours while not in use for over 3 months
to prolong the battery life.
• Maximum charging time is between 20 and 24 hours.
How to Have a Multi-Angle tilting Oscillating Fan (see drawing 3)
• Pull the fan unit front or back to adjust the angle.
• Turn the oscillation control knob(8) to “Oscillating” for oscillating function.
• Turn the oscillation control knob(8) to “stop” for stopping the oscillating function.
NOTE: don’t use oscillating function when the fan is under forward or back angle tilting.
F5 - attachments:

orhisserviceagentorasimilarqualiedpersoninordertoavoidahazard.Toensurethatyougetmaximumlongevity
and maximum use out of your luminaire, please observe the following safety instructions.
Electricalproductscancausedeath,injury,ordamagetoproperty.Installationoftheluminairemustbecarriedoutbyaqualied
 electrician,inaccordancewithSANS10142.Oncompletionofinstallation,ensurethattheCerticateofComplianceisupdated.
• Before connecting this fan, ensure that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds with the mains
voltage in your home.
• When cleaning, ensure that the power is turned off.
• This fan is checked in full for conformity to the quality standards and safety requirements.
• The manufacturer / supplier is not responsible for any damage of properties and persons, caused by
the incorrect use or installation of the fan.
• Should you be unsure of how to install this fan correctly, please consult a professional electrician or
your supplier for assistance.
• Ensure all items/ components, threads and screws are tightly secured.
IMPORTANT:
• Tampering with this fan, i.e.using silicon sealers or incorrect cabling, will invalidate your warranty.
• Please check whether the connection of the power cord is safe and reliable before installation.
• Always ensure that the mains supply voltage is correct.
• Do not use the fan outdoors, in wet conditions or areas of high humidity.
• Donotinsertobjectsorngersthroughthebarsofthegrill.
• Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebyyoungchildrenorinrmpersonsunlesstheyhavebeenadequately
supervised by a responsible person.
• Always unplug the fan when cleaning or moving from one location to another.
• Always ensure that the fan is on an even, stable surface.
• Todisconnecttheappliance,unplugbyrstturningoffthemainspowerthenunpluggingthefan.DoNOTpullonthe
cord, always grasp the plug.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance

CLEANING
• Before cleaning always ensure the power supply is turned off.
• Do not immerse the luminaire in water.
• No abrasive products, solvents, detergent may be used to clean this luminaire.
• Ensurethatthettingdoesnotcomeincontactwithcorrosivechemicals,etc.
• Wipe the base, handle and platform with a damp cloth.
Operating functions table
Switch Position Plug the unit into AC Mains. Unplug the unit for using with built - in DC rechargeable battery
DC/AC Switch AC Operate any function of the unit. No fan function. Operate LED function.
DC/AC Switch DC Recharge the battery. Operate LED function Operate any function of the unit.
Fan Switch OFF Recharge the battery, turn o the functions controlled
