Der äusserst kompakte industrietaugliche 5-Port Gigabit Switch EX-62020POE-SFP bietet trotz
seiner geringen Aussenmaße volle Gigabit Leistung an allen Ports. An den vier RJ45-Ports
stehen jeweils bis zu 30W für den Anschluss von PoE Power Devices (PD) wie z.B. IP-Kameras
oder IP-Telefone zur Verfügung. Der fünfte Gigabit Ethernet Port ist ein SFP-Slot. Passende
SFP-Transceiver sind als Zubehör erhältlich. Dank dem robusten Metallgehäuse und dem
erweiterten Betriebstemperaturbereich von -40°C bis 80°C ist er für eine Vielzahl von Anwen-
dungen auch in rauen Umgebungen geeignet. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über den Terminal
Block (12~48VDC) und kann zur Verminderungen von Betriebsausfällen auch redundant erfol-
gen. Der EX-62020POE-SFP unterstützt Auto-MDI/MDI-X und Auto-Negotation. Im Lieferum-
fang ist ein DIN-Rail Kit (vormontiert) und ein Wandmontagebügel enthalten.

ATTENTION!
Please pay attention to the correct polarity!
Never connect the power supply to the terminal block
while it is switched on!

Switch off the power supply before disconnecting modules or wires.
The propper power supply voltage is indicated on the product label. Check the voltage of your
power source to ensure you are using the correct voltage. DO NOT use a voltage higher than
what is specified on the product.
SFP Transceivers are a Class 1 Laser/LED product.
To avoid causing serious damage to your eyes, do not stare directly into the laser beam.
NOTICE & CLEANING
Please read the following installation instructions.
1. Install the EX-62020POE-SFP on a mounting rail using the DIN-Rail kit or on the wall using
the wall mounting bracket.
2. Slide the optionally available SFP transceiver into the SFP slot.
3. Connect your network devices to the switch using a network cable.
4. Connect the fiber optic cable used to connect to the media converter or switch to the SFP
transceiver you are using.
CAUTION! Do not look directly into the laser beam of the fiber optic connector!
5. Connect the power connector of the optionally available power supply to the terminal block
and switch on the power supply.
6. After the power is turned on, the PWR indicator lights up. If the indicator does not light up,
check that it is connected to the power supply correctly.
7. When all cables are connected correctly, the indicators light up according to the port status
of the LEDs (page 5).
The DIN-Rail Kit is pre-assembled with
two screws on the rear side To install the wall mount, the DIN- Rail kit must be replaced by the
mounting bracket

pressure. In the area of the connections, please make sure that no fibers of the cloth are left in
the socket.

Beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Installationshinweise.
1. Installieren Sie den EX-62020POE-SFP mit dem DIN-Rail Kit auf eine Tragschiene oder
mit der Wandmontagehalterung an die Wand.
2. Schieben Sie den optional erhältlichen SFP Transceiver in den SFP-Slot.
3. Verbinden Sie Ihre Netzwerkgeräte über ein Netzwerkkabel mit dem Switch.
4. Verbinden Sie das fiberoptische Kabel für die Verbindung zum Media Konverter oder
Switch mit dem verwendeten SFP Transceiver.
ACHTUNG! Blicken Sie nicht direkt in den Laserstrahl des Glasfaseranschlusses!
5. Schließen Sie den Stromanschluss des optional erhältlichen Netzteils an den Terminal
Block an und schalten Sie das Netzteil ein.
6. Nach dem Einschalten des Geräts leuchtet die PWR-Anzeige. Wenn die Anzeige nicht
leuchtet, überprüfen Sie den korrekten Anschluss an die Stromversorgung.
7. Wenn alle Kabel korrekt angeschlossen sind, leuchten die Anzeigen entsprechend dem
Portstatus der LEDs (Seite 2).

The extremely compact, industrial-grade 5-port gigabit switch EX-62020POE-SFP offers full
gigabit performance on all ports despite its small external dimensions. Up to 30W are available
on each of the four RJ45 ports for connecting PoE Power Devices (PD) such as IP cameras or
IP phones. The fifth Gigabit Ethernet port is an SFP slot. Matching SFP transceivers are
available as accessories. Thanks to the robust metal housing and the extended operating
temperature range from -40°C to 80°C, it is suitable for a variety of applications, even in harsh
environments. Power is supplied via the terminal block (12~48VDC) and can also be redundant
to reduce operational failures. The EX-62020POE-SFP supports auto-MDI/MDI-X and auto-
negotiation. A DIN rail kit (pre-assembled) and a wall mounting bracket are included in the
scope of delivery.
