GENERAL
This installation manual contains instructions for the correct installation of the Tate Digital Controller. The warranty will be invalidated
if the product is not installed according to these instructions.
Installationmustbecarriedoutbyqualiedinstallersinaccordancetothisinstallationmanual.AS/NZS3500standards,rulesandsafety
regulations do apply.
PLACE OF INSTALLATION
The Tate Digital Controller must be installed in an accessible place and in accordance to this installation manual. This ensures a
problem-freeserviceandmaintenanceprocedure.

MAINTENANCE
Felton products are made of high quality materials and require only minimal maintenance. The following maintenance tips help to preserve
the surface and prevent damage through incorrect cleaning. Fittings and control parts should be wiped dry after used. Only use mild cleaning
productsthatcontainsoap.Thefollowingmustnotbeused:Scourers,abrasivesponges,hydrochloricacid,lime,plasterorcementremovers,
solutionsorcleaningagentscontainingacid(pH ≤ 4),limescaleremoverorvinegar-basedcleaner–andcleaningagentswherethechemical
solutionisnotknownwhichmaybesoldasspecialcleanerforttings.

MountingTube.Thisendofthecableisprotectedwithaplasticsleeve,leavethisonuntillater
in the installation.

This tightens the lugs on the
inside of the wall. Tighten until
there is no rotation of the
Control Housing.

Measure and cut 1/2” BSP thread to the
desired length keeping 20-25mm clearance
from the wall for the spout connection (use
fig 2 as reference).
After applying the appropriate sealer to the
thread, hand tighten the 1/2” BSP thread into
the wingback.

Fit the Spout Base onto the 1/2” BSP thread.
Check the o-ring is in place and thread the flange of the bath spout
onto the 1/2” BSP.
Ensure the base ts tightly and rmly against the wall and seals.

Fit the spout onto the base, ensuring the sleeve stays on the spout and
secure both grub screws using a 2.5mm allen key (not supplied).
