2INSTALLATION
2.1 Stand placement
Before i stalli g the MEET mo itor, the correspo di g i stallatio sta d must be placed o
the wall.
This sta d must be screwed o coveri g the box or co duit where the cable or cables
co ecti g to the mo itor (ether et cable, power supply a d accessories, if a y) arrive.
Use the screws a d plugs supplied with the mo itor to attach the sta d.
2.2 Attaching the monitor to the tand
O ce the sta d is i place, proceed to ha g the mo itor.
To do this, s ap the 4 co ector a chors i to the correspo di g slots o the back of the
mo itor a d push dow o the mo itor to attach it.
Do 't forget to pre-co ect the ether et etwork co ectors, power supply a d accessories, if
applicable.

Connection diagram
The MEET mo itor is co ected to the i stallatio by mea s of co ectors: ether et for LAN
co ectio a d MOLEX type co ectors for other co ectio s (power supply, RS-485 a d
se sor i puts).
A bag co tai i g the correspo di g male plugs with their cables is e closed with the mo itor´s
co ector.
•LAN#1: Ether et co ector to the buildi g's LAN i stallatio . PoE for WIT mo itors. No
PoE for MIO mo itors.
•LAN#2: Ether et co ector to the home’s local LAN i stallatio . O ly WIT 10” mo itor.
•+12V: 12 Vcc power i put for o -PoE i stallatio s.
•Siren / Sensors:
oS: 12 Vdc auxiliary output sy chro ised with the activatio of a y se sor.
The maximum curre t is 100 mA.
o-: GND.
oZ1-Z7: se sor i puts. Z8 is reserved for tamper.
•12V +，-，48 +，48 -: Power output a d RS-485 co ectio for the 10 Relay Module
Ref. 1616.
NOTE:
LAN#2 connection requires a DHCP server, as it is not possible to assign an IP address from
the monitor.

2.3 Wired alarm and doorbell en or

NOTE:
Option 3C consists of a monitoring system via which the monitor would detect sabotage in
the sensor loop (shorting or cutting the sensor loop).
To enable this option, connect a 2.2 Ohm resistor according to the diagram and enable the
3C function in the monitor (See section 4.3 Configuring the alarm settings).
A bag with 8 resistors is included with the monitor.
Triggering any sensor activates the S output for 2 minutes, except when configured as a
doorbell.
The Z8 sensor input is reserved for the internal tamper (monitor anti-sabotage).

2.4 Wiring of FERMAX MEET Relay Module Ref. 1616
To use the actuator co trol optio , a FERMAX MEET Relay Decoder Ref. 1616 must be i stalled.
The co ectio to the mo itor is through the RS-485 co ector as show i the followi g
diagram.
To activate the devices to be co trolled, use the relay outputs 0 to 7, correspo di g to the
activatio s R1 to R8 of the mo itor co trol scree . Relay outputs 8 a d 9 are ot used.
The module Ref. 1616 is powered directly from the mo itor. No additio al power is required.
NOTES
The module Ref. 1616 only activates the corresponding relay during the time indicated in the
programming (between 1 and 60 seconds). After this time, the relay automatically returns to
standby.
No relay status is displayed on the monitor.

4LOCAL PROGRAMMING FROM THE MONITOR
MEET mo itors allow the programmi g of basic co figuratio parameters (block ide tificatio ,
housi g, IP address, etc.) through their ow i terface a d without usi g a PC, so that it is
possible to leave it ready to complete its co figuratio later via the web browser.
All MEET mo itors leave the factory with the same default IP address (10.1.1.1). I order to
access them remotely via web browser, it is ecessary to assig them a u ique IP address,
accordi g to the requireme ts of the LAN.
It is therefore ecessary to carry out prior pla i g of the i stallatio , with the IP address to
be assig ed to each a d every o e of the compo e ts of the i stallatio (mo itors, pa els a d
guard u its).
4.1 In taller acce
From the idle scree , access the i staller sectio by touchi g the ico .
Touch the ico to access the programmi g parameters through the i terface of the
mo itor itself.
Ide tify yourself by e teri g the INSTALLER PIN through the keypad:
The default INSTALLER PIN is 6666.
It ca be cha ged later for a other of your choice.
For security reaso s, if the wro g PIN is e tered three times i a row, the device will be
blocked for 60 seco ds.

4.2 Ba ic configuration of the MONITOR
Touch the ico to access the basic co figuratio parameters:

Use the keyboard that will appear o the scree to e ter the correspo di g programmi g

MONITOR SETTINGS
•BLOCK: Block umber of the apartme t where the mo itor is i stalled
•APARTMENT: Number of the apartme t where the mo itor is i stalled
•MONITOR: Number (from 0 to 9) assig ed to each of the mo itors i stalled i the same
apartme t, i the case that there are more tha o e. Otherwise, leave the default value
"0".
•SYNC CODE: Sy chro isatio code with the rest of the devices i the i stallatio . Default
value is 123456.
•IP SOFTWARE: IP address of the PC where the MEET Ma ageme t Software is i stalled
(if a y).
•SW PIN: Ma ageme t Program ACCESS PIN code. The default optio is 123456.
NETWORK SETTINGS
•IP: IP address to be assig ed to this mo itor.
•MASK: Sub et mask correspo di g to the LAN
•GATEWAY: LAN gateway
•DNS: DNS server address of the LAN. I case of doubt, we recomme d usi g the default
value 8.8.8.8
After all data has bee e tered correctly, a co firmatio message "SAVED" will appear.
Otherwise, re-e ter the data correctly.
SIP SETTINGS
E ter the SIP co figuratio data if the MEET mo itor is to be used as a termi al i a SIP-based
system such as a SIP server. Co tact the SIP server admi istrator, who will provide you with
the correspo di g co figuratio data.
Use the o -scree keyboard to e ter the SIP co figuratio data:

•ENABLE: Check this box if the SIP mo itor is to be used as a SIP-based termi al.
•SIP SERVER: E ter the ame or IP of the SIP server
•DOMAIN: E ter the domai of the SIP server
•STUN IP: Used for the co figuratio of large i stallatio s based o fibre optic li ks.
Check with your etwork admi istrator.
•STUN PORT: Used for the co figuratio of SIP server-based i stallatio s. It is
usually port 5060. Check with your etwork admi istrator.
•USER: E ter the SIP user umber
•SIP PASS: E ter the SIP server user PASS.
NOTES:
Before programming the monitors, it is necessary to plan the installation with the following
criteria:
•Assign a unique IP to each element of the installation (including the PC where the
MEET Management Software is installed, if any).
•All IP addresses must be in the same range.
•The LAN to be used must have an internet connection (if call forwarding to mobile is
required) and be correctly configured.
Consult your LAN administrator if you have any questions regarding the configuration of
network parameters.

4.3 Configuring the alarm etting
Touch the ico to access the co figuratio parameters of the Alarm Ce tre i corporated i
the mo itor, accordi g to the i stallatio carried out. (See sectio 2.4 Wiring of alarm and
doorbell sensors).
For each of the alarm zo es i dicate:
•TYPE: Choose betwee INSTANT, DELAY or PANIC
INSTANT: The alarm will be triggered at the same time as the correspo di g
se sor is activated.
DELAY: The alarm will be triggered after the i dicated time, to give the user
time to switch it off.
PANIC: The alarm will be triggered sile tly, i.e. by givi g a war i g to the
co trol statio , but without sou di g o the mo itor.
•SENSOR: Choose the type of se sor used i this area, betwee SMOKE, GAS, MOTION,
DOOR, WINDOW, PANIC, TAMPER a d SOS.
This is the i formatio that will appear o the mo itor scree after the correspo di g
alarm is triggered.
•ARRIVAL: Choose betwee 3C, NA, NC or BELL.
3C: If you have used the a ti-tamper mo itori g resistor i the se sor
i stallatio
NA: If a Normally Ope type se sor has bee used.
NC: If a Normally Closed type se sor has bee used.
BELL: If this area has bee used to i stall a doorbell butto .
•DELAY: If a DELAY type se sor has bee selected, select the required delay time from
the optio s offered (0, 5, 15, 20, 25, 40 or 60 seco ds).

•MODES: Select the MODES i which you wa t each of the zo es to be active, accordi g
to the type of se sor a d the i stallatio carried out.
•LOOP DETECT: Select this box if you wa t the system to mo itor the status of the
se sors every time you select NIGHT or OUT from the HOME mode.
I the eve t that a se sor i the NIGHT or OUT zo es is activated, the user will be
war ed by a message o the scree . It will ot be possible to cha ge the mode u til the
i cide t has bee corrected.
This makes it possible, for example, to avoid false alarms or security failures, if a door or
window is left open at the time that NIGHT or OUT mode is selected.
4.4 Enable/di able FUNCTIONS
Touch the ico to select which fu ctio s are to be available to the user a d which
fu ctio s are to be blocked.
I the case of disabled fu ctio s, the correspo di g ico will appear o the scree , but its use
will be blocked, a d a message will appear. “FUNCTION DISABLED”.

4.5 Enable third party APP
If a third party applicatio (APP) has bee i stalled, it must be e abled.
Touch the ico to e able a previously i stalled APP accordi g to the procedure i dicated
i ANNEX 6.1 Installation of third party applications i this ma ual.
This sectio is also used to e able or disable applicatio s specific to the MEET mo itor (Lift
co trol, message receptio , SOS alarm, sce e co trol or actuator co trol). The ico for a
disabled fu ctio will ot appear o the scree .
Select the required applicatio (alo g with 2 other applicatio s). It is always ecessary to
select 3 applicatio s at a time (betwee i stalled applicatio s a d the MEET mo itor's ow
applicatio s).
Tap o the message SELECT APP ICON, to select the ICON of the applicatio .
The 3 selected applicatio s will appear at the e d of the MAIN MENU.

4.6 Change INSTALLER PIN
To access the I staller Me u, you must ide tify yourself usi g a INSTALLER PIN, which by
default is 6666.
We advise you to cha ge it for a other of your choice. The ew code must be 4 digits lo g. See
NOTES.
Touch the ico to cha ge the INSTALLER PIN.
Use the umeric keypad to ide tify yourself with the curre t PIN a d e ter the ew PIN.
Co firmatio of the ew PIN is requested for security purposes.
NOTES
If the INSTALLER PIN is changed via WEB browser it can be longer and contain alphanumeric
characters (See section .9 PIN CODE). But in that case, it cannot be used to access the
configuration from the monitor itself.
Make a note of the new PIN at your convenience. If you lose or forget your PIN, you should
contact FERMAX's Technical Department to receive instructions regarding its recovery. All
the monitor programming will be lost.

PROGRAMMING
SECTIONS
5WEB BROWSER PROGRAMMING
For complete programmi g of the MEET mo itor, access is required through a PC via a web
browser.
The PC must be co ected to the same LAN as the mo itor a d co figured with a IP address
i the same ra ge.
The MEET mo itors’ default IP address is 10.1.1.1. However, this address ca be cha ged or
co sulted via the local programmi g of the mo itor. See sectio 4.2 Basic configuration of the
MONITOR.
Type the IP address of the mo itor i the address bar of the browser.
A ide tificatio form will appear.
The default ide tificatio data are:
User name: admin
Password: 6666
A form will appear with the differe t programmi g sectio s:
NOTES:
Preferably use the Chrome browser.
For WIT 10" monitors only programming via LAN#1 is possible

The default identification data may have been changed from the local programming of the
monitor.
5.1 DEVICE

5.2 GENERAL
Allows the co figuratio of the ide tificatio parameters of the mo itor withi the i stallatio .
BLOCK: Block umber of the apartme t where the mo itor is i stalled. 3 digits (001-009).
APART: Number of the apartme t where the mo itor is i stalled. 4 digits (0001-9899).
MONITOR: Number (from 0 to 9) assig ed to each of the mo itors i stalled i the same
apartme t, if there are several. If there is o ly o e, leave the default value "0".
SYNC CODE: Sy chro isatio code with the rest of the mo itors i stalled i the same
home. It has to be the same i all of them. Default 123456

NOTE:
Before setting these parameters it is necessary to plan the installation (installation project)
in advance, considering the configuration of all the devices.

5.3 NETWORK CONFIGURATION
Allows the co figuratio of the differe t parameters of the LAN etwork
IP: IP address to be assig ed to this mo itor.
MASK: Sub et mask correspo di g to the LAN
GATEWAY: LAN gateway
DNS: : DNS server address. I case of doubt, we recomme d usi g the default value
8.8.8.8.
SOFTWARE IP: IP address of the PC where the MEET Ma ageme t Software is i stalled (if

setti g is 123456. I dicate the correspo di g parameters a d click o SAVE to co firm.
NOTE:
The MEET system uses static IP addressing. This ensures that each device has a unique IP
address in the same installation.
If a device has an IP address already assigned to another device on the network, an "IP
CONFLICT" prompt will appear, along with the MAC of the conflicting device.
Both devices will not work properly until this issue is resolved.
