HEATING PANEL INSTALLATION:
For effective control of heating output and room temperature, it is necessary that this panel is supplemented with a thermostat or
other device that allows control of the output of radiators.
The heating panel can also be used in bathrooms in ZONE 3 (see picture below). In any case, make sure that the socket to which
you connect the panel is equipped with a circuit breaker.
The panel heats with infrared waves, so it is not recommended to install it behind furniture or other obstacles, as this could reduce
its performance and also endanger safety. The heating panel should be placed so that it is approximately the same distance from
all persons in the room, so the heating will be pleasant for everyone.
Once you have selected the ideal location for the panel, follow these steps:
Step 1: Fix the template to the ceiling with adhesive tape. Make sure the template is
positioned correctly and mark the positions of the holes for the ceiling screws. Make sure that
there are no electrical cables in the ceiling and around the holes you are going to drill!
Step 2: Drill the holes with a drill bit suitable for the ceiling. For concrete or brick ceilings, use
a drill with a diameter of 8 mm.
Step 3: Insert the anchors into the holes and screw in the installation bolts so that they
protrude approx. 1 cm from the ceiling. Anchors and bolts for concrete and brick are included
in the package. If in doubt, seek professional advice.
Step 4: Hang the panel with the brackets and secure them.
Step 5: Connect the panel to mains power.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• FIRST BASIC Frame and FIRST BASIC Elegant heating panels are designed for ceiling installation. Each panel is equipped with
special brackets that, when used correctly, provide a secure installation.
• The appliance is safe to touch and no burns will occur from brief contact. Prolonged contact with the heated glass can cause
injury.
• Small children should not be left unattended near the heating panel, as prolonged contact with the heated panel may cause injury.
• The appliance is suitable for use in the bathroom. However, direct contact with water must always be avoided (see heating panel
installation).
• Should any solid object or liquid enter the panel casing, unplug the panel immediately and have it checked by qualified personnel
before operating it any further.
• The appliance is equipped with a grounded power cord, which must be used with standard grounded sockets. If the power cord or
the appliance is damaged, it must be repaired by a specialist.
• DO NOT disassemble the appliance. It contains many components and disassembly will void the warranty. Disassembly and
reassembly must not be performed outside the factory or a specialized service center.
• TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, always unplug the power cord if a fault is detected, or when the panel needs to
be moved.
• PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING AND FIRE HAZARD: The panel can reach a surface temperature of 150°C (BASIC
Elegant up to 160°C). Never cover the panel or place flammable substances or objects directly in front of it.
• "DO NOT COVER" symbol: Do not cover the panel with anything. The panel could overheat and become inoperable.
• Before drilling into the ceiling, make sure that there are no electrical cables, gas or water pipes or other obstacles in the area that
could be damaged.
• FIRST TIME USE: Make sure that all packing materials have been removed.
• If you notice an odor, it is likely the new internal heating foil. If the odor persists for several minutes (after 60 minutes), turn off the
panel, locate and remove the source of the odor. If the odor persists (will persist for two days), contact your dealer.
• The appliance MUST NEVER be placed directly under the socket! Position the panel so that the power cord plug is next to the
panel, not under the panel.
• The panel MUST NEVER BE USED if the glass is damaged!
• FIRST panels are designed to withstand a slight overvoltage of 220 - 250V, depending on the area where they are used. Before
use, make sure that the panel you are installing is suitable for your area. If this is not the case, do not plug the appliance into an
electrical outlet and contact your supplier. If the panel is plugged into an outlet with the wrong voltage or the voltage fluctuations
exceed the above range, FIRST's warranty does not cover such damage.
• Before cleaning, unplug the panel. Never clean it when it is connected to the power supply. It can then be cleaned with a soft, dry
cloth.
• It is prohibited to install the panel on flammable materials and in changing rooms.
