IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLING PLB SERIES BOLLARD.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
1. Install bollard in an area with good sun exposure.
2. Install (3) supplied anchor bolts in concrete foundation using template provided. Ensure bolts project a
maximum of 1.75” above concrete surface.
3. Remove the mounting plate from the product and install onto anchor bolts positioning the washers
and nuts above and below the mounting plate as pictured in the diagram. Use these fasteners to level
the mounting plate then secure in position by tightening the nuts.
4. Install pole over mounting plate and install (3) ¼-20 screws loosely until each fastener is aligned to
its’ mounting hole, and then tighten.
5. Remove the head assembly (with cardboard cover attached) from the pole.
6. Remove the battery from product packaging.
7. Use the strap to secure battery to the bracket.
8. Connect the battery harness to the connector on the back of the battery bracket.
9. Once battery is connected, LED’s will turn on for 1 minute. The unit is now functional.
10. Install the head assembly onto the pole and secure into place with (3) washers and (3) ¼-20 bolts
and tighten evenly. For asymmetrical distribution ensure correct LED orientation as shown below.
11. Remove cardboard cover from head assembly.

MAINTENANCE
If panel becomes soiled, clean with a soft damp cloth to maintain optimal performance.
Do not use any abrasive materials or detergents.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Light does not turn on when battery is connected:
Check the battery harness polarity.
If harness connected correctly, measure battery voltage and contact customer service.
The light flashes when battery is connected:
Battery state of charge is lower than optimal state, install and the product should charge the battery.
Monitor for correct operation. If complications persist, please contact customer service.
