Read these instructions carefully before

Before you start
Ensure the benchtop is square and level and
that no structural members interfere with
space requirements.
Ensure a suitable disconnection switch
is incorporated in the permanent wiring,
mounted and positioned to comply with
the local wiring rules and regulations. A
means of disconnection with at least a 3
mm air gap contact separation in all poles
must be incorporated into the fixed wiring
in accordance with the wiring rules, unless
the local wiring rules allow for alternative
means: A means of disconnection from
the supply having an air gap separation
in all active (phase) conductors must be
incorporated in to the fixed wiring.
Make the bench top of a heat resistant
material.
Ensure there is adequate clearance between
the cutout and the rear and/or side walls.
Use easy-to-clean finishes for the wall
surfaces surrounding the cooktop to aid
removal of cooking fume staining that may
result from the use of the cooktop.
Consult local building authorities and by-
laws if in doubt regarding installation.

Wiring
Connect according to the label on the
underside of the cooktop.
Clamping down the cooktop
This cooktop is supplied with fastening
clamps that will cope with bench thickness
20-50 mm. For benchtops thicker than
50mm, recess the underside to a thickness
of 20-50 mm.

Installation requirements
(CT560X models)
If prolonged use is anticipated, or the
cooktop is mounted above a drawer space, a
barrier between is recommended
AND
Where the base of this product is accessible,
a barrier MUST be installed to prevent
contact.
If a barrier is installed below the cooktop,
this barrier must be made of heat resistant
material capable of withstanding sustained
exposure to temperatures up to 70 oC, be
at least 30 mm and no greater than 75 mm
below the base of the cooktop and have
FOUR ventilation holes (min 50 mm - max
70 mm diameter, see diagram for detail).
These ventilation holes must be open to
free air. It is recommended that the barrier
be removable to allow ease of securing the
cooktop with the supplied clamps.
Additional requirements
Ensure that there is a minimum of 60 mm
between the cutout and the rear or side
wall.
If the cutout is less than 100 mm from the
wall, some form of protection against heat
should be used, such as ceramic tiles.
The CT560X models should not be installed
directly above a dishwasher as the humidity
may damage the cooktop/hob electronics.

Installation checklist
Please check through the following list to
ensure correct installation of the product:
Check the product is earthed.
Check that the power cable is NOT in
contact with the product. This will ensure
the power cable is not damaged by heat
from the product.
Check the product is clamped down
securely.
Operation checklist
Check the product functions correctly by
switching on all the elements and leaving
them on for at least one minute.
While the elements are switched on, check
all of the ‘On’lights are functioning correctly.
Check the elements are glowing.
Check the ‘Surface Hot’ indicator lights are
functioning correctly by switching off all
the elements. The ‘Surface Hot’ indicator
lights should be lit and extinguish once the
elements become cool enough to touch
safely.

Vor der Installation
Prüfen Sie vor der Installation die
Arbeitsfläche auf lot- und waagerechte
Ausrichtung und stellen Sie sicher, dass die
Einbauöffnung ordnungsgemäß vorbereitet
ist.
Auf der Seite der Stromversorgung ist eine
Trennschaltvorrichtung erforderlich, die
bezüglich ihrer Position und Installationsart
den örtlichen baubehördlichen Auflagen
und Gesetzen entspricht. Ob hierbei eine
Trennschaltvorrichtung eingesetzt werden
muss, bei der alle Phasen gleichzeitig
über einen Trennkontakt mit wenigstens
3 mm Unterbrechungsdistanz oder die
aktiven Phasen einzeln unterbrochen
werden, entnehmen Sie bitte den
örtlichen baubehördlichen Auflagen und
Bestimmungen.
Die umgebende Arbeitsfläche muss aus
hitzeresistentem Material bestehen.
Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass von der
Einbauöffnung rundum noch ausreichend
Abstand zu den umgebenden Rück- und
Seitenwänden verbleibt.
Wir empfehlen, die an das Kochfeld
angrenzenden Wandflächen mit leicht zu
reinigenden Oberflächen zu gestalten, damit
sich eventuelle Kochrückstände einfach
entfernen lassen.
Kontaktieren Sie im Zweifelsfall die örtliche

Die CT560X-Modelle dürfen nicht direkt
über einem Geschirrspüler installiert werden,
da die auftretende Feuchtigkeit die Elektrik
des Kochfelds schädigen könnte.
Elektrik
Einen Kabelanschlussplan finden Sie auf der
Unterseite des Kochfelds.
Befestigung des Kochfelds mit
den mitgelieferten Klammern
Dieses Kochfeld wird mit
Befestigungsklammern geliefert, die für eine
Verwendung mit einer Arbeitsfläche mit
einer Stärke von 20-50 mm geeignet sind.
Wenn die Arbeitsfläche stärker ist, muss die
Unterseite dieser Arbeitsfläche auf ein Maß
von 20-50 mm ausgeklinkt werden.

Installationsvoraussetzungen
(Modelle CT560X)
Wenn das Kochfeld oberhalb anderer
Geräte oder nutzbarer Schränke etc.
installiert werden soll, wird der Einsatz einer
Schutzplatte empfohlen.
UND
Wenn die Unterseite des Gerätes zugänglich
verbleibt, muss eine Schutzplatte installiert
werden.
Diese Schutzplatte unterhalb des Kochfelds
muss aus hitzebeständigem Material (für
Temperaturen bis zu 70 °C) bestehen,
mindestens 30 mm (aber nicht mehr als
75 mm) unterhalb des Kochfelds montiert
werden und über VIER Lüftungslöcher
(Minimum-Durchmesser 50 mm, Maximum-
Durchmesser 70 mm, siehe auch Diagramm)
verfügen. Diese Luftlöcher dürfen nicht
blockiert werden. Die Schutzplatte sollte
entfernbar sein, um die sichere Befestigung
des Kochfelds mit den mitgelieferten
Klammern zu gewährleisten.
Zusätzliche Voraussetzungen
Zwischen den Kanten der Einbauöffnung
und umliegenden Rück- und Seitenwänden
muss ein Abstand von 60 mm verbleiben.
Wenn die Einbauöffnung weniger als 100
mm von einer umgebenden Wandfläche
entfernt ist, muss diese Wandfläche mit
hitzeresistenten Materialien (wie z.B.
Kacheln) geschützt werden.

Checkliste für die Installation
Bitte prüfen Sie anhand dieser Checkliste die
ordnungsgemäße Installation des Produkts:
Prüfen Sie, ob das Gerät geerdet ist.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das
Stromversorgungskabel keinen Kontakt mit
dem Gerät hat und damit nicht durch die
Hitze des Geräts gefährdet ist.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das
Kochfeld ordnungsgemäß mit den
Befestigungsklammern gesichert ist.
Checkliste für den Betrieb
Bitte prüfen Sie die ordnungsgemäße
Funktion aller Kochfeldelemente und lassen
Sie die Kochfeldelemente zu Testzwecken
mindestens eine Minute lang eingeschaltet.
Prüfen Sie bei eingeschalteten
Kochfeldelementen die ordnungsgemäße
Funktion aller Funktionsanzeigen.
Prüfen Sie, dass die Flächen der einzelnen
Kochfeldelemente ordnungsgemäß bei
Betrieb aufleuchten.
Prüfen Sie, dass die Warnanzeigen für die
Oberflächentemperatur ordnungsgemäß
bei Betrieb aufleuchten und wieder
erlischen, wenn die Flächen der einzelnen
Kochfeldelemente abgekühlt und damit
gefahrlos zu berühren sind.

Avant de commencer
Vérifiez que le plan de travail est d’équerre et
de niveau et qu’aucune membrure porteuse
n’interfère avec les besoins d’espace.
Veillez à ce qu’un disjoncteur adapté soit
incorporé dans le câblage permanent,
monté et positionné en conformité avec
les règles et règlements locaux concernant
les installations électriques. Un dispositif
de déconnexion présentant une lame d’air
de séparation des contacts d’au moins 3
mm sur tous les pôles doit être incorporé
dans le câblage fixe, en conformité avec les
règles d’installation électrique, à moins que
ces dernières autorisent un dispositif de
remplacement :
Un dispositif de déconnexion de
l’alimentation présentant une lame d’air de
séparation sur tous les conducteurs actifs
(phase) doit être incorporé au câblage fixe.
Prévoyez le plan de travail dans un matériau
résistant à la chaleur.
Veillez à ce qu’il y ait un écartement adéquat
entre la découpe et les parois arrière et/ou
latérales. Sur les surfaces murales entourant
la table de cuisson, employez des finitions
faciles à nettoyer pour faciliter l’élimination
des taches de vapeurs de cuisson qui

de cuisson.

Les modèles CT560X ne devront pas être
installés directement au-dessus d’un
lave-vaisselle, car l’humidité pourrait
endommager l’électronique de la table/
plaque de cuisson.

cuisson
Cette table de cuisson est livrée avec des
pinces de fixation acceptant une épaisseur
de plan de travail de 20 à 50 mm.
Pour les plans de travail d’une épaisseur
de plus de 50 mm, aménager un retrait en
sous-face, à une épaisseur comprise entre 20
et 50 mm.

Prescriptions d’installation

Si une utilisation prolongée est envisagée,
ou que la table de cuisson est montée au-
dessus d’un espace de tiroirs, une barrière
de séparation est recommandée
ET
Si la base de ce produit est accessible, une
barrière DOIT être installée pour empêcher
tout contact.
Si une barrière est installée sous la table
de cuisson, elle devra être constituée d’un
matériau résistant à la chaleur et pouvant
supporter une exposition soutenue à des
températures allant jusqu’à 70 °C, être
placée au moins à 30 mm et au plus à 75
mm sous la base de la table de cuisson, et
disposer de QUATRE trous de ventilation
(mini. 50 mm : maxi. 70 mm de diamètre,
voir les détails sur le schéma). Ces trous de
ventilation doivent être ouverts à l’air libre. Il
est conseillé que cette barrière soit amovible
pour permettre de fixer facilement la table
de cuisson à l’aide des pinces fournies.
Prescriptions complémentaires
Veillez à ce qu’il y ait un minimum de 60 mm
entre la découpe et le mur arrière ou latéral.
Si la découpe est à moins de 100 mm du
mur, une protection quelconque contre
la chaleur devra être utilisée, telle que des
carreaux de céramique.

Liste de contrôle d’installation
Veuillez vérifier la liste suivante pour vous
assurer que le produit est bien installé :
Vérifiez que le produit est raccordé à la terre.
Vérifiez que le câble électrique n’est PAS en
contact avec le produit. Ceci évitera qu’il soit
endommagé par la chaleur dégagée par le
produit.
Vérifiez que le produit est solidement
accroché.
Liste de contrôle de
fonctionnement
Vérifiez que le produit fonctionne
correctement en allumant toutes les
résistances et en les laissant sous tension
pendant au moins une minute.
Tandis que les résistances sont allumées,
vérifiez que l’ensemble des voyants ‘Marche’
fonctionnent correctement.
Vérifiez que les résistances sont
incandescentes.
Vérifiez que les voyants indicateurs ‘Surface
chaude’ fonctionnent correctement en
éteignant toutes les résistances. Les voyants
indicateurs ‘Surface chaude’ devraient
être s’allumer, puis s’éteindre une fois que
les résistances auront assez refroidi pour
pouvoir être touchées sans danger.

PRIMA DI INIZIARE
Assicurarsi che l’alloggiamento sia squadrato
a livello e che non vi siano componenti

Assicurarsi che sull’impianto di
alimentazione sia installato un interruttore
automatico, montato e posizionato in
conformità alle disposizioni locali che
regolano l’installazione di impianti elettrici.
Nell’impianto elettrico deve essere integrato
un interruttore automatico fornito di un’aria
di almeno 3 mm tra le superfici di contatto
di tutti i poli, a meno che le disposizioni
locali non prevedano disposizioni
alternative:
È necessario integrare nell’impianto
elettrico un interruttore automatico per
la sconnessione dall’alimentazione di
rete fornito di una separazione tra tutti i
conduttori attivi (fase) .
Realizzare il piano di appoggio in materiale
resistente al calore.
Assicurarsi che vi sia un’ aria sufficiente tra
la sfinestratura delle pareti posteriori e/o
laterali. Utilizzare rifiniture facili da pulire
per le superfici delle pareti intorno al piano
di cottura per facilitare la rimozione delle
macchie dei fumi di cottura che potrebbero
risultare dall’uso del piano di cottura.

Come fermare il piano di lavoro
Questo piano di cottura viene fornito con
fermagli di fissaggio adattabili a banchi
con spessore fino a 20-50 mm. Per banchi
con spessori superiori a 50 mm, ridurre la
superficie inferiore fino a uno spessore di
20-50 mm.

Quando si prevede un uso prolungato o il
piano di cotture è monatto sopra ad uno
spazio cassetto, si consiglia l’installazione di
una barriera in mezzo.

Dove la base del prodotto è accessibile, una

Se una barriera viene installata sotto al
piano di cottura, questa deve essere formata
da materiale resistente al calore capace
di sostenere un esposizione prolungata

dotata di QUATTRO fori di ventilazione (min

barriera sia asportabile per permettere un
fissaggio sicuro del piano di cottura con i
fermagli forniti in dotazione.
Requisiti supplementari

Se la sfinestratura si trova a meno di 100

Assicurarsi che il cavo di alimentazione NON
sia in contatto con il prodotto. Questa al fine
di evitare danni al cavo provocati dal calore
emesso dal prodotto.
Assicurarsi che il prodotto sia saldamente
fissato.
Elenco di spunta procedure di
montaggio
Verificare il corretto funzionamento del
prodotto accendendo tutti gli elementi
lasciandoli accesi per almeno un minuto.
Con gli elementi accesi verificare il corretto
funzionamento di tutte le spie ‘On’.
Assicurarsi che gli elementi siano accesi.
Assicurarsi che le spie ‘Superficie molto
bollente’ funzionino in modo corretto
spegnendo tutti gli elementi. Le spie
‘Superficie molto bollente’ devono essere
accesi e spegnersi appena gli elementi si
sono raffreddati abbastanza da poter essere
toccati.

kunnen vervallen indien het apparaat
onzorgvuldig is geïnstalleerd.
Dit apparaat moet worden geïnstalleerd
conform de lokale voorschriften en
normen.
BELANGRIJK!
Stel deze informatie ter beschikking van de
verantwoordelijke voor de installatie van het
apparaat om eventueel uw installatiekosten
te reduceren.
Lees deze instructies aandachtig alvorens dit
apparaat te installeren of te gebruiken.
Voordat u begint
Vergewis u ervan dat het werkblad haaks en
waterpas staat en dat geen constructiedelen
in de benodigde installatieruimte reiken.
Zorg ervoor dat in de vaste bedrading
een passende scheidingsschakelaar
wordt voorzien, die qua plaatsing en
montage aan de lokale reglementen en
voorschriften beantwoordt. Overeenkomstig
de bedradingsvoorschriften moet in de
vaste bedrading een scheidingsschakelaar
met in alle polen een luchtspleet van ten
minste 3 mm voorzien zijn, tenzij de lokale
bedradingsvoorschriften alternatieve
middelen toelaten.
In de vaste bedrading moet een
scheidingsschakelaar met een luchtspleet in
alle actieve (fase)geleiders zijn gemonteerd.
Zorg ervoor dat het werkblad van
hittebestendig materiaal is.
Vergewis u ervan dat er voldoende afstand
is tussen de zaagmaat en de achter- en/of
zijwanden. Gebruik onderhoudsvriendelijke
wandafwerking rondom de kookplaat zodat
vlekken van kookdampen, ontstaan door het
gebruik van deze apparaten, vlot kunnen
worden verwijderd.
Raadpleeg in geval van twijfel de lokale
bouwvoorschriften en verordeningen.

Als de nis minder dan 100 mm van de
wand staat, moet een of andere vorm van
hittebescherming worden aangebracht, bv.
keramische tegels.
De modellen CT560X mogen niet direct
boven een vaatwasmachine worden
gemonteerd, omdat de vochtigheid hiervan
de elektronica van de kookplaat kan
beschadigen.
Bedrading
Sluit aan zoals aangegeven op het label
onderaan de kookplaat.
De kookplaat vastklemmen
Deze kookplaat wordt geleverd met
bevestigingsklemmen voor werkbladen met
een dikte van 20-50 mm. Bij werkbladen
dikker dan 50 mm, dient u aan de onderkant
een inspringing te voorzien tot een dikte
van 20-50 mm.

Installatievereisten (modellen
CT560X)
Als verwacht wordt dat de kookplaat
langdurig zal worden gebruikt, of wanneer
zij boven een ladenblok wordt gemonteerd,
is een scheidingspaneel tussen beide aan te
raden.

Daar waar de onderkant van dit apparaat
bereikbaar is, MOET een scheidingspaneel
worden voorzien om aanraking te
voorkomen.
Als een scheidingspaneel onder de kookplaat
wordt gemonteerd, moet dat bestaan
uit hittebestendig materiaal dat bestand
is tegen langdurige blootstelling aan
temperaturen tot 70 °C, zich minimaal 30 mm
en maximaal 75 mm onder de onderkant
van de kookplaat bevinden en voorzien zijn
van VIER ventilatieopeningen (min. 50 mm
– max. 70 mm diameter, voor details zie
schema). Door deze ventilatieopeningen
moet vrije luchtcirculatie mogelijk zijn. Het
scheidingspaneel moet liefst kunnen worden
weggenomen om de kookplaat gemakkelijk
met de bijgeleverde klemmen vast te kunnen
zetten.
Bijkomende vereisten
Vergewis u ervan dat er minimaal een
afstand van 60 mm is tussen de nis en de
achter- of zijwand.
