As yourovenis connectedto a power supplyfor the first time, a tone will soundand the clock displaywill light up
momentarily.Theclockdisplaywill show,,,M12:00'andthecolon( : ) willflash. Next,setthe clock.

PREHEATING YOUR OVEN
Alwayspreheatyourovenwhenusingthefollowingmodes:TrueAero,AeroBake,Bake,AeroPastryandPastryBake.
Remembertopositionshelvesin the ovenbeforepreheating.
Whenyourovenispreheating,yourselectedcookingtemperatureisdisplayedalternatelywith the actualoven
temperature.Whenthe ovenhasreachedtheselectedtemperatureanaudiblebeepwill soundandthetemperature
displaywill changefromredto green(stainlesssteelmodels)or orangeto white (Iridiummodels).
Preheatingyourevenisnot requiredwhenusingRoastandAeroBroi/.
TheAeroTechTM oven isequippedwith afast preheatfunction. InTrueAero,AeroBake,Bake,AeroPastryandPastryBakeit
will heatto 350%/175°C fromcoldin under10minutesandto 450%/220°C in under15minutes.
Note: If youwant to changetheovenmodeand/ortemperatureduringoperation,turnthe ovenmodeandtemperature

Warmisaconstantlow heatof 165%/75°C. It isexcellentfor keepingcookedfoodhotand

YourAeroTechrMovencomeswith Fisher_Payket'suniquebroilingsystem,purposedesignedto preventhotfat andjuicesinthe
broilerpansplatteringthroughouttheoven. Thebroilingsystemis intendedto be usedasonecompleteunit,howeverit canbe
interchangedto suityourcookingpreferenceasillustrated.
Forshelfpositionssuitablefor broilingpleaseseetheCookingChartonpage30. Foradequatedrainageofgrease,alwaysbroil
usingtheentirebroilingsystem. If youchooseto coverthe broilergridwith foil besureto cut slitsinthefoilto enablegreaseto
drainintothe broilerpan.
GLASS TRAY
Thesearemadeofextremelytoughglassandareperfectovento tableware.Theglasstrayis greatforallBroilandBakemodes.
Washin hotsoapywateror thedishwasher.Soakingwith a little dishwasherdetergentwill helptoremovestubbornstains.
COOKIESHEETS
TheCookieSheetshavea non-stickfinishandneedonlya lightcoatingofcookingsprayor greasingbeforeuse. Theirdarkcolor

AUTOMATIC / DELAYED TIME COOKING

To Set Automatic / Delayed Time Cooking
Checkthat theclockshowsthecorrecttime.
Choosetheupperor lowercavity(fordoubleovensonly)
Selecttheovenmodeandtemperature.
Decidehowlongthefoodwilltake to cook,allowingtimefor preheatingif necessary.
Pressthe COOKTIMEbuttonandturntheSETTINGSELECTORto selectthis time.Youdo notneedto seta StartTime.
Pressthe STOPTIMEbuttonandturnthe SETTINGSELECTORto selectthetime youwant theovento turnoff. TheStopTime
mustbeset beforethe CookTimesettingsareautomaticallyadoptedi.e.within 8 secondsofsettingtheCookTime,

Useyourcookingprobetoaccuratelyjudgetheendpointwhen
cookingmeatandpoultrythat istender,juicy,fullofflavorand
'done'toyourown preference.Meatthat iscookedfortoo long
canbedryandtough;theprobewillturnthe ovenoff whenthe
internaltemperatureofthefoodreachesa pointthat hasbeen
pre-setbyyou. Theprobecanbe usedon TrueAero,AeroBake,
Roast,AeroBroitandBake

Using The Cooking Probe
Selecttheovenmodeandtemperatureandpreheattheovenif appropriate.
Roastdoesnotrequirepreheating.AeroBroitneedsonlya shortpreheat.
Insertasmuchofthemetalcookingprobeaspossiblehorizontallyintothethickestpartofthefullydefrostedmeat. The
thickerthe meat,thelongerit willtaketocook,soit isimportantthattheprobeismeasuringthetemperatureofthemeat
at it's thickestpoint. Makesurethe probedoesnottouchbone,fat or gristle,asthiswill giveyoua falsereading.
Placethemeatonthebroilingsystem.
Whentheovenhaspreheated(ifrequired)to thesettemperatureplacethebroilingsysteminthe ovenandinserttheplugend
ofthecookingprobeintotheprobesocket,usinganovenmitt ifthe ovenishot. Theprobesocketisontheleft handside
oftheoven,halfwaydownbetweenshelfpositions3 and5. Makesuretheprobeis pushedintothesocket,thenclosethe
ovendoon
Selecttheupperorlowercavityfordoubleovenmodelsusingtheovencavityselectorbutton.
PressPROBEonthecontrolpanel.Thepre-settemperatureof 150°F/65°Cand'Probe'will lightupinthedisplay.If youwant
to selecta differentinternalfoodtemperaturefromthe presettemperature,rotatetheSETTINGSELECTORwhile'Probe'is
flashing.ForCookingProbeandRoastingGuidelines,seepage31.
Thedisplaywill showtheactualinternaltemperature.Tolookat the set internaltemperaturepressPROBE.The
ovenwill beepandautomaticallyturnoff whentheset internaltemperaturehasbeenreached.Thetemperatureandoven
modedisplayswill remainonandtheovenlightwillgo out.
Returntheovento manualmodebypressingthePUSHTOCLEARbutton.TurntheovenmodeandtemperaturedialsOFF.
Tocancelthe probesettingbeforethe settemperaturehasbeenreachedpressPROBEthenPUSHTOCLEAR.
Thecookingprobecanbe usedwith AutomaticCookingfunctions.Theprobemustbe pluggedintotheprobesocketinthe
sideof theovencavitybeforeyoucansetit butthiscanbedonebeforeorafterAutomaticCookingisset andbothof
thesecanbedonewhentheovenison. If theprobereachesthesettemperaturebeforetheStopTimeisreachedthe
probewillturntheovenoff.
Theinternaltemperatureofthe meatwill continueto riseby5-15°F(2-8°C)afteryouhaveremovedit fromtheovenso
allowfor this inyourcalculations.Thisis particularlyimportantif youwanta rareor mediumrareroast. Thehigherthe
oventemperatureused,the greaterthe risewill be. Forsuggestedtimesandtemperatures,seethecharton page31.
It is agoodideato letall roastmeatsstandfor 10- 15 minutesbeforecarving- thejuiceswill belesslikelyto runwhen
youcarve.

Holdthe cookingprobeatthe 'handles'wheninsertingandremovingitfromfoodandthecookingprobesocket.
If thecookingprobeis hot,handleit with anovenmitt, donot usetongsasthis maydamagethe cookingprobe.
Rememberto removethecookingprobefromthe ovenbeforeyoustarta cleancycle.
Donotstorethe probeinthe oven.
Onlyusetheprobewith foodsthatarefullydefrosted.
