Requires three "AA" batteries (included).
Adult assembly is required.
Tool required for assembly: Phillips screwdriver (not included).

Note: A plastic tab is attached to the toy for in-store demonstration purposes.
While the tab may have already been removed, check the bottom of the toy to
be sure. If the plastic tab is still attached, pull and remove the tab from the toy.
Throw the plastic tab away.
This toy contains small parts in its unassembled state.
Adult assembly is required.
CAUTION

Assembly
• Position the base so the bottom is
facing you.
• Align the hole in a post with the
matching peg on the bottom of the
base, as shown.
• Insert a screw through the post and
into the peg. Tighten the screw with
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• Repeat this procedure to attach the
other post.
• Set the base upright.
• Position the waterfall so the bottom is
facing you.
• Align the hole in the post with the
matching peg on the bottom of the
waterfall, as shown.
• Insert a screw through the post and
into the peg. Tighten the screw with
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• Set the waterfall upright.

Batteries may leak fluids that can
cause a chemical burn injury or ruin
your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
•Do not mix old and new batteries
or batteries of different types:
alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc)
or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
•Insert batteries as indicated inside
the battery compartment.
•Remove batteries during long
periods of non-use. Always remove
exhausted batteries from the toy.
Dispose of batteries safely. Do not
dispose of batteries in a fire. The
batteries may explode or leak.
•Never short-circuit the battery
terminals.
•Use only batteries of the same or
equivalent type, as recommended.
•Do not charge non-rechargeable
batteries.
•Remove rechargeable batteries from
the toy before charging.
•If removable, rechargeable batteries
are used, they are only to be
charged under adult supervision.

Replacement
For best performance, we recommend
replacing the batteries that came with
this toy with three, new "AA" (LR6)
alkaline batteries.
•Locate the battery compartment on
the bottom of the base.
•Loosen the screws in the battery
compartment door with a Phillips
screwdriver. Remove the battery
compartment door.
•Insert three "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline
batteries for longer life.
•Replace the battery compartment door
and tighten the screws with a Phillips
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
•When sounds from this toy become
faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to
change the batteries!

Learn at the Zoo!
• Locate the mode switch on the base.
• Slide the mode switch to either play mode , learn mode , or off .
Mode Switch
Play Mode
• Press any letter to hear the sound that
animal makes.
Learn Mode
• Press once to hear the letter. Press again to
hear the name of the animal that begins with
that letter.
• Press to hear the A-B-C song with fun
animal sounds.
Play Mode
• Press to hear a question about animal sounds.
Learn Mode
• Press and you'll be asked to find animals
and letters.
