Fitting Instructions
Properly f tt ng Fl ghtcom's E-13 headset to each user's head s cruc al to proper
performance. The headpad should f t comfortably on top of the head w thout a gap
or space between the head and headpad. The headset should be centered on the
head and the ear seals should comfortably cover the ears w thout be ng placed too
far forward on the jawbone or face.
• The m crophone should be no more than 1/8” from the
mouth to ensure clar ty and peak performance.
• To ncrease the length of the headband, loosen the nuts
found on each s de of the headband; sl de the domes n a
downward d rect on. To decrease the s ze of the headband,
loosen the nuts found on each s de of the headband; sl de
the domes n an upward d rect on. T ghten the headband
nuts when the headband s properly s zed.
• To change the boom from left or r ght dress, loosen the
knurled knob located at the top of the m crophone boom.
Rotate the boom over the top of the headset to des red pos t on; t ghten the
knurled knob to secure the boom. Caut on: rotat ng the boom n the wrong
d rect on may cause non-warranty damage to the boom w r ng.
• Volume control s located at the top of the dome on the boom s de of the headset;
rotate clockw se to ncrease headset volume.
Installation
• Insert the headset plug nto your a rcraft comm panel jack.
• Adjust the headset s ze for proper f t and comfort.

Ear seal replacement s recommended on at least an annual bas s. To order
replacement ear seals and other common parts, please v s t our web s te at

warranty must be performed by Fl ghtcom Corporat on. All returned products must be
sh pped to our address and fre ght prepa d. The purchaser vo ds th s warranty f he, she or
others attempt to repa r, serv ce or alter the product n any way. Th s warranty does not apply
n the event of acc dent, abuse, mproper nstallat on, unauthor zed repa r, tamper ng,
mod f cat on, f re, flood, coll s on or other damage from external sources, nclud ng damage
wh ch s caused by user replaceable parts (leak ng batter es, etc.). Th s warranty does not
extend to any other equ pment or a rcraft to wh ch th s product may be attached or
connected. The forego ng s your sole remedy for fa lure n serv ce or defect. Fl ghtcom
Corporat on shall not be l able under th s or any mpl ed warranty for nc dental or
consequent al damages, nor for any nstallat on or removal costs or other serv ce fees.
Th s warranty s n l eu of all other warrant es, express or mpl ed, nclud ng the warranty
of merchantab l ty or f tness for use, wh ch are hereby excluded. To the extent that th s
exclus on s not legally enforceable, the durat on of such mpl ed warrant es shall be l m ted
to two years from date of purchase. No su t for breach of express or mpl ed warranty may
be brought after two years from date of purchase.
