Gently lay both legs you have prepared onto a suitable protected surface. Be extremely careful not to scratch the front edges
of the legs. DO NOT DRAG THE LEGS! Make sure that the legs are lifted every time they are moved to avoid them from
being damaged.
Using a drop of glue (J) in each dowel hole, insert 2 dowels (A) in to the left side panel (3). Again, using a drop of glue (J) in
the dowel holes take the front panel (2) and push them on to the dowels (A). Use 2x wood screws (D) to screw the parts
together. Repeat the process for the right side panel (4) and front panel (2).
Using a drop of glue(J) in each dowel hole, 2 x dowels (A) in to the left side panel (3). Again, using a drop of glue (J) in
the dowel holes take the inside leg (7) and push them on to the dowels of the left side panel (3).
Use 3 x wood screws (D) to screw the inside leg (7) to the left side panel (3). Repeat the process to secure the other
2 inside legs (7) to the right side panel (4) and front panel (2).

Use the glue (J) in the dowel holes before inserting 2x dowels (A) into the left and right hand panels (3)(4). Position the cam
bolts (C) in to left and right side panels (3)(4).
Take the left side and the right side legs (5)(6), put some glue (J) in to the dowel holes. Connect the side legs (5)(6) to the
side panels (3)(4), make all the inserts are in the correct position. Insert the cam locks (B), turn the cam lacks (B)
clockwise to lock the parts together.

Insert 5xcam locks (C) and glue (J) 6x wood dowels (A) into the legs, side panels and front panel (2,5,6)
Next prepare the top panel (1) by screwing all 5 x cam bolts(C) into position. The dowel joints (A) need to be glued in at
both ends of the top panel. Connect the top panel to the surround, making sure all inserts are in the correct position.
Once home, all 5xcam locks (B) can be tightened into position.
Firstly insert 6x wooden dowels (A) with glue into the top of the hearth (8). With a cross headed screw driver insert
8xsingle headed cam bolts (C) into the top of the hearth (8). For the next step we recommend to use two people.
Carefully lift the surround over the hearth (8) ensuring that all 8x single headed cam bolts (C) and 6 x wooden dowels (A)
insert the bottom edges of the surround. Once all 8xsingle headed cam bolts (C) and wooden dowels (A) are
correctly in position, insert 8x cam locks (C) into the rear of the surround and tighten together using a cross headed
screw driver.

Offer the back panel (9) into position. Line the screw holes in the back panel (9) up with the screw holes of the back of
the rebates (7). Once aligned, screw the 9x screws (E) with a cross headed screwdriver into position.

With a pencil mark out the desired height where you would like the mirror brackets(I) to be situated on the rear of the legs.
To avoid splitting the leg, pre drill the bracket holes with a 2mm drill bit, Now attach the brackets to the legs using the
3x12mm screws (G). Once the brackets are in position, centre and level the hearth into its final fitting position, mark with a
pencil on the wall where you wish to drill. Remove the surround and prepare the wall from the marked positions. If using the
fixings supplied, drill a hole in the wall using a 6mm drill bit, if not, use a suitable drill bit for the wall plugs you are using.
Insert the wall plugs (H) into position. Offering the surround back up into position against the wall, you are now able to
secure the surround to the wall using the 4x30mm screws (F).
