IMPORTANT WARNINGS
Always comply with the elementary safety
prescriptions when using electrical appliances,
including the following :
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
• Before plugging in the appliance, check if
the voltage indicated on the appliance matches
the mains voltage of your house
• To prevent risks of electrical shocks, NEVER
immerse the electrical cord, plug or appliance
in water or any other liquid
• NEVER touch hot surfaces. Always use the handles
or buttons
• Children under the age of 8 should not use this
appliance
• Unplug the appliance when not in use and before
cleaning
• Let the appliance cool down before assembling or
disassembling the parts, before cleaning or storage
of the appliance
• NEVER pull the electrical cord to unplug
the appliance but hold the socket
• NEVER operate the appliance if the electrical cord
or the plug are damaged or after malfunctioning
or damage whatsoever. Return the appliance to
the closest certified service center to examine,
repair or modify the appliance
• The use of spare parts or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer brings risks of fire,
electrical choc or injuries
• NEVER use outside or for commercial use
• ALWAYS use the appliance for what it is intended
• NEVER let the electrical cord hang over the edge
of the table or kitchen counter and never touch hot
surfaces
• NEVER place on or close to a heat source, such as
a gas or electrical stove, nor in an oven
• Only use the appliance on a flat, heat resistant
surface
• Be careful when moving all appliances with hot food
or liquids, such as oil
• When using the appliance, make sure there is
enough space around and above the appliance
in order for the air to flow easily
• NEVER leave the appliance unattended when
in use
• When using the appliance, keep it away from
inflammable materials, such as curtains, paper,
plastic, etc
• Always be careful when using the appliance near
children or disabled persons
• Always start to insert the temperature probe
in the appliance before plugging in the appliance.
To unplug, first turn the control button on stand “0”,
then remove the plug from the socket
• NEVER use this appliance with an external timer
or remote control
• This appliance is only meant to be used
domestically
• The use of accessories not recommended by
the manufacturer can cause injuries

THIS APPLIANCE IS MEANT FOR DOMESTIC USE
This appliance is ONLY meant to be used
DOMESTICALLY. This appliance does not have parts
to be repaired by the user. Never try to repair this
appliance yourself. BE CAREFUL WHEN USING AN
EXTENSION CORD; THE RATING SHOULD BE AT
LEAST EQUAL TO THE RATE OF THE PLANCHA.
Do not leave the extension cord
on the table or kitchen counter
where it could be pulled by a child
or where it could be tripped over.
POWER
An overload of the electrical circuit by other
appliances could impair the functioning of
the Plancha. The Plancha has to be connected
to a different circuit from other working appliances.
EARTHED PLUG
The appliances are equipped with an earthed plug
with 3 pins, which will only fit a socket suited for this
kind of plug. This is a safety feature. If the plug should
not fit the socket, contact a certified electrician.
Do not try to bypass this safety feature.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Always stick to the elementary safety prescriptions
when using electrical appliances, including
the following :
1. Remove all stickers from the appliance.
2. NEVER IMMERSE THE TEMPERATURE PROBE
IN WATER.
3. Clean and treat the non-stick coating :
a. Check that the temperature probe isn’t
plugged into the appliance; if so, remove it
from the appliance. Clean the baking plate,
juice collector and the base with a soft sponge,
warm soapy water, thoroughly rinse and dry
b. Put the juice collector and the baking plate
back into place on the base (grill side up)
c. Set the temperature probe on the off stand
«O» and plug it in the appliance.
If the temperature probe is not correctly
inserted, an abnormal heat could occur
and cause an accident or damage
d. To treat the baking surface, plug in
the appliance in a suitable socket.
Turn the temperature button clockwise to set
one of the low temperature positions.
Let the appliance heat up until the orange
indicator light extinguishes, indicating the set
temperature has been reached
e. Oil the surface with a small quantity of butter
or margarine and remove the excess
f. Wait for the appliance to cool down, remove
the temperature probe and turn the baking
plate (Plancha side up)
g. Repeat steps (c) to (e) to treat the baking
surface of the plancha
REMARK : Upon first use of the appliance,
there might be a small smoke output. This is normal,
due to the first heating of the internal elements.
Your reversible Grill/Plancha is now ready for use
and doesn’t need any other treatment.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
1. Correctly place the juice collector in the base,
as shown below
WARNING
In order to avoid any physical or material damage,
the juice collector must be in place during baking.
2. Place the baking plate on the base (choose
between the Grill or Plancha, depending on
the food you would like to prepare).
3. Turn the temperature probe on stand «O» and
insert the probe into the side of the appliance
4. Plug in the appliance
5. Turn the temperature probe on the desired
temperature and preheat the appliance until
the red indicator light extinguishes
6. Place the food on the non-stick baking plate
7. Thoroughly bake the food
NOTE : The red indicator light can turn on and off
during baking, this indicates that the thermostat
maintains the correct temperature for a perfect baking
result on the grill/plancha.
8. Once finished, turn the temperature probe
on the off stand «O» and unplug the appliance

TIPS AND TRICKS
Always preheat the appliance before use.
Be careful when biting stuffed food, such as cheese,
tomatoes or jam: they could hold the heat and cause
burning injuries when consuming immediately after
baking. It is unnecessary to put butter on the outside
of the bread since the appliance is equipped with a
non-stick coating. However, to obtain golden bread,
it is recommended to add a little bit of butter or
margarine.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down
completely before cleaning
2. Remove the temperature probe.
NEVER IMMERSE THE TEMPERATRE PROBE
IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID
3. Remove the baking plate by the handles
4. Remove the juice collector carefully to avoid
spilling water, oil and other juices collected
5. Clean the baking plate, juice collector and base
with a soft sponge and hot soapy water.
NEVER use steel wool or other abrasive detergents,
these could damage the non-stick coating.
Thoroughly rinse and dry the appliance. These parts
are dishwasher proof
STORAGE
1. Let the appliance cool down before storage
2. Store the appliance on a dry place, such as a table,
kitchen counter or shelf
WARANTY
Dalcq S.A. provides a special warranty on all parts
of the appliance subject to conditions below.
The legal regulations about warranty as well as
the rights resulting from the legislation about
responsibility of the defective products remain
unaffected. Possible right to reimbursement of
the buyer in case of defaults remain valid, if
the conditions below are met.
1. Period of the warranty
The warranty applies to all parts of the appliance
and starts from the date of purchase (date of invoice)
of the appliance and has a duration of 2 years when
used privately.
2. Object of the warranty
Dalcq S.A. covers the material, construction and
manufacturing defaults, provided the default
was present at delivery and that the appliance was
correctly operated by the buyer. The warranty covers
free of charge repair, or exchange of one or
more defective components, or the exchange of
the appliance for another appliance of the same value.
It is up to Dalcq S.A. to decide which measure to
undertake.
3. Warranty case
When breakdown/default, you must immediately
advise :
1. The store where you bought the appliance
2. The after sales service (written or via email)
that the appliance will be returned, to provide
an extended description of the problem with
pictures
4. Packaging
Il It is recommended to use the original packaging to
return the appliance. If you use a different packaging,
make sure it provides enough protection for typical
transport risks and that it offers sufficient protection.
A simple cardboard box filled with paper is not
sufficient. Dalcq S.A. cannot be held responsible
for damage resulting from insufficient packaging.
The warranty then expires. The after sales service will
inform you of the return procedure as well as of the
costs this implies.
5. Cleaning
If you don’t clean the parts or
the appliance before returning it,
Dalcq S.A. will invoice a cleaning set rate.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to prove the real
costs of cleaning are inferior to the invoiced set rate.
6. Withdrawal of the right to warranty
The right to warranty is withdrawn by :
- Incorrect use, treatment and storage.
(for example, defaults caused by humidity,
high temperatures)
- Repairs, repair attempts, modifications of any
kind and use of non-original parts, etc. which
were not executed by Dalcq S.A. or by an
authorized company
- Insufficient packaging and bad transport
- Inappropriate mechanical influences on
the appliance or on the parts of the appliance
- Defaults that are not caused by the finishing
or production of the appliance, such as fall,
collision, damage, fire, earthquake, damage
by flood, lightning, etc
- Use other than household use, especially in
a commercial environment
- The costs incurred by Dalcq S.A. because of
the returning of the appliance by the buyer,
without warranty or right to restitution will be
for the buyer

ENVIRONMENT
• In accordance with the European standards*, used
electric and electrical appliance cannot in any way
be disposed with normal not sorted domestic waste.
They must be brought to an official collection center
• Help the protection of the environment and bring
this appliance to an official collection center for
recycling of appliances at the end of their lifetime
• Bring a used appliance to an official collection
center for recycling. Public services for domestic
waste collection (the municipality) have collect points
where used appliances from private households from
the region can be disposed of for free. Collection
centers might also come to pick up used appliances
from private households
• Inform yourself about the pick-up dates in your
region or contact the municipality to know where
the collection centers are
* Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament
and of the Council of 27 January 2003 on waste
electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
This indicates that this appliance cannot be disposed
with other domestic waste in the EU. To avoid
damaging the environment and public health by an
uncontrolled disposal of waste, the appliances have
to be recycled in a responsible way to encourage
sustainable use of material resources. To dispose of
your used appliance, use the return and collecting
systems, or contact the store where you bought the
appliance. This person can pick up the appliance for
an ecologic recycling.
