Installation Requirements
Before you begin the installation, make sure that you have the following:
Desktop mounting: ESD bracelet (or ESD gloves).
Wall mounting: ESD bracelet (or ESD gloves), ladder, marker, hammer drill, rubber hammer,
screwdriver.
Rack mounting: ESD bracelet (or ESD gloves), Phillips screwdriver, M6 Screws, Standard-sized 19"
wide rack with a minimum of 1U height available.
The installation site must be well ventilated. Ensure that there is adequate air flow around
the switch.
Site Environment:
Do not operate it in an area that exceeds an ambient temperature of 45°C.
The installation site must be free from leaking or dripping water, heavy dew, and humidity.
Ensure rack and working platforms are well earthed.
Be sure that the switch is level and stable to avoid any hazardous conditions.
Do not install the equipment in a dusty environment.

Mounting the Switch
Desk Mounting
1. Attach four rubber pads to the bottom.
2. Place the chassis on a desk.
Wall Mounting
1. Rotate the two L-shaped brackets by 90 degrees and fix them to both sides of the switch with
the included screws.

2. Horizontally place the switch onto the wall with its RJ45 ports facing upward. Then mark the
screw holes with the marker.
3. Drill holes in the marked positions, and then knock the expansion bolts (self-prepared,
M5*40 mm) into the holes.
4. Insert the screws (self-prepared, PA5*25 mm, head diameter: 10 mm) through the holes of the
two L-shaped brackets, and secure the screws into the expansion bolts with a screwdriver. Ensure
that the switch is installed firmly with its RJ45 ports facing upward.
NOTE: This switch can only be installed on a concrete or non-flammable wall.

Rack Mounting
1.Secure the mounting brackets to the two sides of the switch with six KM3*8 screws.
2. Attach the switch to the rack using the screws and tighten it.

1. Connect one end of the grounding cable to a proper earth ground, such as the rack in which the
switch is mounted.
2. Secure the grounding lug to the grounding point on the back of the switch with the washer and
screws.
Grounding the Switch
1. Plug the AC power cord into the power port on the back of the switch.
2. Connect the other end of the power cord to an AC power source.
Connecting the Power
WARNING: Do not install power cable while the power is on.
CAUTION: The earth connection must not be removed unless all supply connections have
been disconnected.

Connecting the RJ45 Ports
1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port of a computer, printer, network storage, or other
network devices.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port of the switch.

Installationsvoraussetzungen
Bevor Sie mit der Installation beginnen, vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie
die folgenden Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
Standortumgebung:
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einem Bereich, in dem die Umgebungstemperatur 45°C
übersteigt.
Tischmontage: ESD-Armband (oder ESD-Handschuhe).
Wandmontage: ESD-Armband (oder ESD-Handschuhe), Leiter, Marker, Bohrhammer,
Gummihammer, Dehnschrauben (M5*40mm), Schrauben (PA5*25 mm, Kopfdurchmesser:
10 mm), Schraubendreher.
Montage in Rack: ESD-Armband (oder ESD-Handschuhe), Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher,
M6-Schrauben, 19"-Rack in Standardgröße mit einer Mindesthöhe von 1 HE verfügbar.
Der Installationsort muss frei von austretendem oder tropfendem Wasser, starkem Tau
und Feuchtigkeit sein.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Rack und die Arbeitsflächen gut geerdet sind.
Der Installationsort muss gut belüftet sein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass um den Switch herum
ein ausreichender Luftstrom herrscht.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Switch eben und stabil steht, um gefährliche Bedingungen
zu vermeiden.
Installieren Sie das Gerät nicht in einer staubigen Umgebung.

Montage des Switches
Montage auf einem Tisch
1. Bringen Sie vier Gummipuffer an der Unterseite an.
2. Stellen Sie das Gehäuse auf einen Tisch.
Wandmontage
1. Drehen Sie die beiden L-förmigen Halterungen um 90 Grad und befestigen Sie sie mit den
mitgelieferten Schrauben an beiden Seiten des Switches.

2. Platzieren Sie den Switch waagerecht an der Wand, wobei die RJ45-Anschlüsse nach oben zeigen.
Markieren Sie dann die Schraubenlöcher mit dem Marker.
3. Bohren Sie an den markierten Stellen Löcher, und schlagen Sie dann die Expansionsbolzen
(selbst präpariert, M5*40 mm) in die Löcher.
4. Stecken Sie die Schrauben (selbst angefertigt, PA5*25 mm, Kopfdurchmesser: 10 mm) durch
die Löcher der beiden L-förmigen Halterungen, und befestigen Sie die Schrauben mit einem
Schraubendreher in den Dehnungsbolzen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Switch mit den
RJ45-Anschlüssen nach oben fest installiert ist.
HINWEIS: Dieser Switch kann nur an einer Betonwand oder einer nicht brennbaren
Wand installiert werden.

Montage im Rack
1.Befestigen Sie die Montagehalterungen mit sechs KM3*8-Schrauben an den beiden Seiten des
Switches.
2. Befestigen Sie den Switch mit den Schrauben am Rack und ziehen Sie sie fest.

1. Schließen Sie ein Ende des Erdungskabels an eine geeignete Erdung an, z. B. an das Rack, in dem
der Switch montiert ist.
2. Befestigen Sie die Erdungslasche mit der Unterlegscheibe und den Schrauben am Erdungspunkt
auf der Rückseite des Switches.
Erdung des Switches
1. Stecken Sie das Netzkabel in den Netzanschluss auf der Rückseite des Switches.
2. Schließen Sie das andere Ende des Netzkabels an eine Netzstromquelle an.
Anschluss der Stromversorgung
WARNUNG: Schließen Sie das Netzkabel nicht an, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.
ACHTUNG: Der Erdungsanschluss darf erst dann entfernt werden, wenn alle
Versorgungsanschlüsse getrennt wurden.
