QUICK REFERENCE CARD
The following instructions are based on the default
selection of “ringing preference”.Please consult the user
guide if the preference on your phone has been changed.
To Make A Call
1. Pick up the handset. (For handsfree mode, press
SPKR.)
2. Dial the number.
To Place A One-Touch Call
Press a One-Touch button. (If no idle Call
Appearance LED lights, press any idle Call
Appearance.)
To Answer A Call
Pick up the handset. (For handsfree mode, press
SPKR.)
To Put A Call On HOLD
1. Press HOLD.
2. To get a dial tone, press an idle Call Appearance:
to connect to another call, press a lit or blinking
Call Appearance.
To TRANSFER A Call
1. Press TRAN.
2. Another Call Appearance/Directory Number will
be selected automatically, and you will hear the
dial tone.
3. Dial third party.
4. Press TRAN and hang up.
To Set Up A CONFERENCE Call
1. While on an active call, press CONF.
2. Another Call Appearance/Directory Number will
be selected automatically, and you will hear the
dial tone.
3. Dial the third party or press any Call Appearance/
Directory Number that is ringing or on HOLD.
4. Press CONF.
Repeat steps 1-4 to add more calls if you have 6-way
conference. To disconnect last call added, press DROP.
Other participants can drop out by hanging up. At
some installations, if you drop out, the entire confer-
ence is disconnected. Ask your System Administrator.
To Use Call Pickup (Network Feature)
1. Get a dial tone.
2. Press CALL PICKUP feature button. (This feature will
only pickup call in your call pickup group.)
To Switch To/From Handsfree
To switch to handsfree, press SPKR and replace handset
in cradle. To switch to handset, pick up handset.
To Change Call Volume Of Calling Party
With a Call Appearance active (LED on), press (up)
repeatedly to increase volume, press (down) repeatedly
to decrease volume. Volume is held until reset.
To Adjust Display (When No Call Is Active)
Press (up) repeatedly to increase contrast. Press
(down) repeatedly to decrease contrast.
To Use MIC-OFF
To mute handset transmitter or handsfree microphone,
press MIC-OFF (LED lights). Press again to turn MIC-OFF
to transmit (LED goes dark).
To Program A One-Touch Button
1. Press OPTIONS, numeric key 1, then ENTER.
2. Press the button you want to make a One-Touch.
3. Press the numbers you want to program including
outside access code (such as 9). Use the HOLD
button to insert pauses.
4. Press ENTER.
To View Call Log
1. Press CALL LOG.
2. LCD displays Incoming Calls (INC). If there is an
unanswered call (UNA), the CALL LOG button will
be lit red.
3. Press CALL LOG again. LCD displays Outgoing Call
Log (OUT).
Viewing The Address Book And Make A Call
1. Press ADR BOOK
2. Scroll to the name of the person desired; or enter
the two digits Directory Address such as 01 and 02.
3. Press ENTER.
4. Lift the handset or press SPKR to place the call.
To Add/Edit Address Book Entry
1. Press ADR BOOK, then scroll to a blank entry.
2. Scroll to the blank entry; or enter the entry number
such as 01 and 02, then press ENTER.
3. By using numeric keys, enter the number to be
saved in the Address Book, then press ENTER.
4. By using numeric keys, enter the name to be saved
in the Address Book, then press ENTER.
