Assembly is easiest with two people.
1. Resting the WORK TOP on the BACK LEGS and keeping back edges flush,
secure the WORK TOP with PHILLIPS SCREWS through the predrilled holes
in the top.
2. Secure with additional SCREWS
horizontally, through the side face
of each BACK LEG.
Keep potting supplies organized and work at a comfortable height when
potting and tending to plants with this outdoor, rot-resistant, cedar bench.

6. Place the mostly assembled bench on its back, and insert the BASE SHELF - but don't secure it just yet.
7. Insert the VERTICAL DIVIDER making sure the shelf support block faces to the right. The VERTICAL DIVIDER
should be flush with the front edges of both the top support block and the BASE SHELF. Screw the top of the
VERTICAL DIVIDER horizontally to the block on the underside of the WORK TOP, then to the block on the BASE
SHELF.
8. Now secure the BASE SHELF to the legs. Screw from the inside, through the shelf apron into the leg. Then,
turn the bench over, and repeat with the FRONT LEGS.
9. Stand your potting bench up, and insert the SHORT SHELF. Leave it dry-fitted for flexibility, or secure with
additional PHILLIPS SCREWS. Add hooks to BACK SLATS and you're done!
2. Slide FRONT LEGS under WORK
TOP (make sure shelf supports
are all facing in) and secure with
PHILLIPS SCREWS through the top
of the WORK TOP.
3. Starting with the top, and making
sure all elements are flush, attach
BACK SLATS with one PHILLIPS
SCREW at each end. Use the spacer
block to create consistent spacing.
4. Add the TOP SHELF, leaving a 1"
overhang on the rear, and secure
with PHILLIPS SCREWS. Be sure to
center the predrilled holes in the
TOP SHELF over the top face of the
top BACK SLAT.
