Disconnect the vehicle's or vessel's power
supply before beginning to install this
d evice.
&CAUTION
C ontinuous exposure to sound pressure
le ve ls over 100 dBA may cause permanent
hearing loss. The volume is typically too
lou dif you cannot hear people speaking
ar ound you. Limit the amount of time you
listen at high volume. If you experience
ri n ging in your ears or muffled speech, stop
l istening and have your hearing checked.
To avoid possible personal injury, always
wear safety goggles, ear protection, and a
dust mask when drilling, cutting, or sanding.
NOTICE
When dri ll ing or cutting, always check what
is on the opposite side of the surface to
a vo id damaging the vessel.
It is strongly recommended that you have
your audio system installed by a
professional installer to ensure optimum
performance.
You must read all installation instructions

What 's In the Box
Two wake tower pipe brackets
Four short hex screws and washers for
securing the brackets to the speakers
• Four long hex screws and washers for
securing the br ackets to the wake tower
pipe
Tools Ne eded
Drill and 12 mm (½ in.) drill bit
• 4 mm and 5 mm hex drivers or hex keys
Wire strippers
• Solder and heat-shrink tubing for wire
connections
NOTE : For customized installations,
additional tools and materials may be
needed.
Mou nting the Bracket
You can mount Fusion XS Series Marine
Wake Tower speakers (sold separately) to a

wake tower pipe using the included
brackets.
When installing the speaker and bracket,
you can route the speaker and LED cable
either along the outside of the wake tower
pipe or inside it.
NOTE: If you route the speaker wire inside
the wake tower pipe, you should install a
grommet or other protective covering (not
included) around the hole in the pipe to
protect the wire when routing it through the
hole.
1 If necessary, mark the locations on the
wake tower pipe where you plan to
mount the speakers.
2 If you plan to route the cable through the
wake tower pipe, drill 12 mm (1 / 2 in.)
cable pass-through holes in the bottom
of the wake tower pipe.
3 If you plan to route the cable through the
wake tower pipe, install grommets or
other protective coverinqs (not included}
around the holes you drilled in the
previous step (optional}.
4 If necessary, route extended speaker
Md LED wires (not included) to the
mounting locations, either along the
outside of the wake tower pipe or inside
it.
5 Feed the cable G) from the speaker
through the base of the bracket®·

6 Place the base of the bracket over the
mounting knob on the speaker@.
7 Using a4 mm hex driver or hex key,
attach the collar© to the base of the
bracket using the two shorter screws
and washers®, but do not fully tighten
them.
8 Using the installation instructions
provided with the Fusion XS Series
Marine Wake Tower speakers, connect
the speaker wires and LED wires.
9 Feed the connected wires through the
pass-through hole into the wake tower
pipe®, or place them in the channel on
the base of the bracket (l).

10 Place the top of the bracket ® over the
pipe, and hold it against the base of the
bracket.
11 Using a5 mm hex driver or hex key,
attach the top of the bracket to the base
of the bracket using the two longer
screws and washers ®, but do not fully
tighten them .
12 Adjust the angle of the speakers, and
tighten all of the screws to secure the
speaker to the wake tower pipe,
observing these maximum torque
measurements:
• For the longer screws that secure the
bracket to the pipe®, do not tighten
to more than 4 N-m (2.95 lbf-ft.).
• For the shorter screws that secure
the bracket to the speaker®, do not
tighten to more than 2.5 N-m
(1.84 lbf-ft.).
NOTICE
Tightening the screws more than the
specified maximum torque
measurement can damage the bracket.
13 Repeat these steps for additional
brackets.

Cleaning the Brackets
NOTICE
These brackets are not designed to
withstand high pressure water spray, which
may occur when you wash down your
vessel. Failure to carefully spray-clean the
vessel may damage the product and void
the warranty.
Do not use harsh or solvent-based cleaners
on the brackets. Using such cleaners may
damage the product and void the warranty.
1 Clean all salt water and salt residue
from the bracket with a damp cloth
soaked in fresh water.
2 Use a mild detergent to remove a heavy
buildup of salt or stains.
