NOTE:
This phone may be used by people with hearing problems.
It has a variable volume headset until 40dB. On first use,
make sure that the handset volume is set to minimum. The
hearing impaired person may subsequently increase the
volume to suit their needs.

Congratulations on purchasing our product.
Please read the manual carefully to learn all about the features
available and how your telephone works. This will help you to get
the best of your new phone.
Prior To Use

Safety Precautions
To prevent any risk of electrical shock and injury, please follow
these basic safety precautions before using the phone:
1. Carefully read and observe the instructions in this manual.
2. The phone is capable of amplifying sounds to a loud volume. It
is important to instruct all potential users of its proper operation.
It is advised to adjust the volume control to its minimum level
(Low) when not in use and alert other users that hearing damage
can potentially result from misuse.
3. When cleaning, first unplug the phone. Then use a damp cloth
to wipe it. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
4. Do not place objects on the line cord as this may cause damage.
5. Do not use this phone in wet surroundings or environments
where there is a risk of explosion.
6. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel only.
7. Use only the power supply provided.
8. Install the telephone where no one will step or trip on the cord.
9. Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords as this can
increase the risk of fire or electrical shock.
10. Never push any objects through the slots in the telephone. They
can touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could
result in a risk of fire or electrical shock.
11. Never spill liquid of any kind on the telephone.

Setting Up
CHECK THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX
Box should contain:
zHandset with handset cord and phone base
zTelephone line cord
z4 Alkaline batteries AA 1.5V
zUser's manual
zRemote for emergency call with his battery CR2025
zAdapter (9VDC 0.2A)
zWall mount bracket
CHOOSE A LOCATION
The unit should be located in an area where it is easy to see the
visual display and lighted ringer.
Choose a location that is out of the way of normal daily activities
so that it is not knocked or there is no danger of tripping over wires.
ADAPTER INSTALLATION
For using all features e.g. Hands-Free and Amplification, it is
essential that the telephone is powered by the power supply or
the batteries.
Insert the batteries in the open battery compartment who is located
at the back of the base.
Unclip the battery door with a screw driver in the hole.
Only use batteries of the type AA 1.5 V provided with the phone.
Pay attention to the correct polarity. Close the battery compartment
cover.
Pay attention that the telephone is not connected to the telephone
line socket and/or mains power connection when the batteries are
being inserted or replaced.

Connecting the telephone
- Connect the handset cord (1).
- Unclip the battery door with a screw driver in the hole.
Insert 4 x AA alkaline batteries ( 2 ). In case of power failure,
batteries are required for the ring.
- Snap the battery door back in place.
- Connect the line cord at the back of the base (*) (3).
- Connect the other side of line cord plug to the wall socket or
internet box (*) (3)
- Connect the adaptor cord to the telephone (4).
- Connect the adaptor to you wall socket (**) (4).
(*) Classified TNV-3 according to EN62368-1 standard.
(**) Classified “hazardous voltage” according to EN62368-1 standard.

Wall mounting
The telephone can also be installed on a wall. You require
two screws in order to fix the telephone on a wall.
Feed the guide tabs (1) on the wall-mounting bracket (2) in the
slots (3) on the rear side of the telephone. Slide the wall bracket
(2) 10mm upwards until it audibly snaps into place.
Warning: Ensure that there are no cables or pipes etc. under
the surface of the wall where you want to drill the holes.
Drill two holes whose distance 84mm in vertical, insert the
screws and allow them to project 5mm from the wall.
Position the telephone on the bracket, fit the screws in the slots
and slide the telephone downwards a little.
Turn the receiver hook (4) in the receiver cradle 180oso that
the receiver can be hooked in.

Keys Description
Make / Answer / End a call.
Activates the speakerphone if pressed during
a call, as described in page 17.
The LED is ON to inform you that the function
is activated.
Last number redial, as described in page 15.
When you dial a phone number, press this key
to insert an Pause.
Highlight or scroll through the menu options.
Enter the CID or phonebook list.
When you press this key during the call, the
LED turns ON to inform you that the boost is
activated.
Press and hold this key during a call to mute
the microphone temporarily.
The 3 pictures keys are used as one-touch
speed dial keys.
Press this key to change the mode (CID list
or Phonebook)
Press this key to exit .
This key is used to disconnect a call and
reestablish dial tone or to switch over to
another caller if you use custom calling
services such as call waiting.
This key is used for emergency dialling.
This key allow you to access to your voicemail
(the number need to be inputed at first start)
When you dial a phone number, press this
key to insert an Pause.
Press this key to choose a contact in CID
list or phonebook list. Your call will be in
speakerphone mode.

LCD description
In standby mode, the LCD display will show as below:
New/SOS Hour Date CLIP/Phonebook mode
When a new call comes in, the screen will display the caller's phone
number and name.
This shows you the total and new calls to be reviewed. In this
example, you have 5 calls in total which includes 2 new calls.
Replace or insert the batteries.

In Emergency SOS dialing mode or while review Phone book, if
you see this icon “+” means the numbers are Set as emergency
number.
If the caller has exercised the option to prevent his name from
being sent, "OUT OF AREA" will be shown on the display.
This message will display when someone calls from an area where
the telephone company is not offering the caller identification
services or is not yet providing number delivery to your area.

Ringer level settings
A switch located on right side allows the ringer to be switched HI,
MIDDLE or LOW position:
: Low, : Middle, : Hi.
Menu Navigation
To access a menu option:
1. To display menu list, press the Menu soft key.
2. To scroll through menu options, press or key repeatedly.
3. To select a menu, press key when the desired menu
appears on the display.
4. Repeat if necessary.
To exit from any menu:
If you press the “CLIP/PB” key, the phone returns to the
previous screen or in stand-by mode.
Making a Call
1. To make a call, lift the handset, listen for a dial tone and adjust
your volume & tone settings (see page 16).
2. You can dial a number manually or press one of the memory dial
buttons. Please refer to page 15.
3. To end the call, replace the handset on the base.
You can enter a phone number in standby mode, Pre-dial allows
you to make corrections before dialing. Follow these steps:
1. Enter a telephone number (up to 32 digits). Check it. If you make
a mistake while entering a number, press the key to edit it.
2. When the number appears correctly, lift the handset or press the
key or press key.
Dialing a Number from the Redial List
Press Key then press or to show and find the five
last numbers that have been dialed, then press key to redial.

Dialing the last Number dialed
Lift the handset or press on key and press key to dial
the last number dialed.
Dialing a Number from the Phonebook
Make sure “ ” icon is showed on the top right display. If not, press
“CLIP/PB” key, you should hear “PHONEBOOK”.
Press or to show and find your contact, then press
key to start the call in speakerphone mode.
Dialing a Number from the Caller List
Make sure “CLIP” icon is showed on the top right display. If not,
press “CLIP/PB” key, you should hear “Caller ID list”.
Press or to show and find your contact, then press
key to start the call in speakerphone mode.
Dialing a Number from one picture memory key
Your phone allow you to program 3 frequently dialed numbers in
memory pictures keys. Each photo memory key can store up to 24
digits.
To store one memory picture key, go to page 26 .
1. Lift the handset or press .
2. Press the memory picture key desired and your number is dialed
automatically.
Receiving a Call
When a new call is received the phone will ring and the Visual ring
indicator will flash.
1. To answer a call, lift the handset or press on or press the
remote button and speak.
If you press on remote SOS button, your phone is in speakerphone
mode.
2. Adjust your volume & tone settings if required (see page 16).

3. To end the call, replace he handset on the base or press .
Muting the Microphone
During a conversation, you can temporarily switch your phone's
microphone off. The other party will not be able to hear you.
To mute your microphone, press and hold the key during
the conversation. Your microphone is mute.
To unmute your microphone, Release the key. You can
resume your conversation with the other caller.
Using the Amplification Function
You can increase the volume and adjust the receiving tone according
to your own hearing requirements.The button +40dB allows
extrareceiving and tone functions to be activated or not during the
conversation.
When the function is activated, the red light located on the button
is lit. Adjust the TONE and VOLUME buttons with and
to adjust the level to your own hearing requirements.
Note : you will need to activate the function by pressing the
button +40dB to use the function Tone and the receiving
amplification.
CAUTION: This telephone can produce very high (loud) sound levels.
Repeated incremental exposure to amplification levels greater than
18 dB may be harmful to people without hearing loss. Always adjust
the volume control to the minimum setting after using the phone.

Using your Phone with hearing aids
Your phone can be used with hearing aids equipped with a telecoil
(T-coil). Adjust your hearing aid "T-switch" position. Make sure to
hold the handset close to your hearing aid.
Hands-free
During a call, you may turn on the speakerphone that is built into
the phone. In this mode you can enjoy the comfort of a hands-free
conversation.
To turn the feature on, press the key during a call, then replace
the handset on the base. The Red LED icon is activated.
To turn the feature off, simply pick up the handset and you can
keep on talking via the handset. The LED icon will turns off.
Adjusting Speaker Volume
In speaker mode you can adjust the speaker volume by using the
Volume Controls located on the right side of the phone.
Flash Signal
When the line is engaged, pressing the Rkey sends the flash
signal. This key is used in conjunction with special services (e.g. call
waiting) which can be available in your phone network. For further
details please contact your network telephone company.
To use the said special services, just press the Rkey while the line
is engaged.

Caller ID
This telephone automatically displays an incoming caller's number
/ name along with the date and time of the call. It will record up to 64
calls and store the data into memory.
IMPORTANT: You must subscribe to Caller ID Service from your
local telephone company to utilize this feature.
The flashing red LED indicates new calls in the calls list. This LED
will flash as long as there are still new (not read) calls in the
calls list.
To stop flashing press repeatedly until to look all new call.
Displaying phone numbers in the calls list
Make sure “ CLIP ” icon is showed on the display. If not, press
CLIP/PB key, you should hear “Caller ID list”
zSelect an entry using or key.
Storing numbers from the calls list in the phone book
1. Select an entry using or key. .
2. Press and hold key and confirm SAVE TO NUMBER with
key.
3. Check the phone number displays then press key to valid.
4. Enter a name for the phone number then press key to valid.
5. Select “No Alert Number” then press key.
Deleting phone numbers individually
zSelect an entry using or key.
zPress . The display shows DELETE?.
zPress again. The entry is deleted.

Deleting all entries
Make sure “ CLIP ” icon is showed on the display. If not, press
CLIP/PB key, you should hear “Caller ID list”.
zSelect an entry using or key.
zPress and hold key. The display shows DELETE ALL?.
zPress again. The entries are deleted.
Note: Before deleting the phone numbers, check that the entries
have been viewed.
