By purchasing a GEIGER radio-controlled hand-held transmitter you have decided on a quality
product from GEIGER.
Thank you very much for your decision and the condence placed in us.

Please observe following instructions in order to avoid damage to this product:

The cursor can be moved to the
left or right with the left and right
keys.
You can swift between channels
1 to 15, the „Timer“ menu and the
„Settings“ menu.
If the cursor is over one of the
channels 1...15, this channel is
selected. Move commands for
the corresponding channel can
be sent with the UP, STOP and
DOWN keys.
The last move command sent
is shown in the display for 2
seconds.
If the cursor is over one of the two menus, it can be opened by pressing the STOP key.
Date and time can be changed in the settings menu.

The possible symbols of the status display can be viewed in the following table:

(ashing for 4 sec.; only if one of the channels 1 ... 15 is selected).
8. Teach-in the hand-held transmitter on a GEIGER drive
or radio receiver
1. Connect the drive to the power supply. The drive clicks
(short UP and DOWN movement) and starts in teach-in mode.
2. Press the UP and DOWN keys on the hand-held transmitter
simultaneously until the drive clicks. The hand-held transmitter
and the drive are connected to each other.
For setting the end positions and further information please refer to the operating
instructions of the respective motor or receiver.
9. Further functions
Deleting a hand-held transmitter
1. Press the PAIR key on a hand-held transmitter that is not to be deleted for at least 5 sec.
The drive clicks.
2. Press the PAIR key for at least 10 seconds on the hand-held transmitter that is to be
deleted. The drive clicks, the hand-held transmitter has been deleted.
Replacing a lost hand-held transmitter
1. Disconnect the drive from the power supply for at least 2 seconds.
2. Reconnect the drive to the power supply for 10 seconds.
3. Disconnect the drive from the power supply for at least 2 seconds.
4. Connect the drive to the power supply again. The drive clicks.
5. Press the PAIR key on a new hand-held transmitter for at least 2 sec. The drive clicks, the
new hand-held transmitter is taught-in.
I ATTENTION: The lost hand transmitter is still stored in the drive.
Ifyouarenotsurewherethishandtransmitteris,allhand-heldtrans-
mitterscanbedeletedbyresettingthedrivetothedeliverystate.
Resettingthedrivetothedeliverystate
1. Disconnect the drive from the power supply for at least 2 seconds.
2. Reconnect the drive to the power supply for 10 seconds.
3. Disconnect the drive from the power supply for at least 2 seconds.
4. Connect the drive to the power supply again. The drive clicks.
5. Press the PAIR key on a hand-held transmitter that has already been programmed for at
least 7 seconds.
The drive clicks once after approx. 2 sec. and a second time after approx. 7 sec., the drive
is reset to the delivery state.

Copyinghand-heldtransmitterswithoutadrive
It is possible to copy the functions of a hand-held transmitter
(master hand-held transmitter) to a new hand-held transmitter.
The procedure must be carried out separately for each key.
Makethenewhand-heldtransmitterreadytoreceive.
1. Remove the bottom shell of the new hand-held transmitter.
Press the PAIR key with a paper clip or similar of the new
hand-held transmitter (A). The LED starts ashing.
2. Press the UP key on the new hand-held transmitter (A) within
4 seconds and keep it pressed. The LED starts to light up
permanently.

3. Continue to hold down the key on the new hand-held
transmitter (A) and align the fronts of the two hand-held
transmitters (distance max. 5 mm).
4. Press the UP key on the master hand-held transmitter (B).
As soon as the LED on the new hand-held transmitter (A)
turns darker, the copying of the UP key is nished and you can release both keys.
RepeattheprocesswiththeSTOPandDOWNkeys.
Forminggroupswiththedisplayhand-heldtransmitter
Several drives can be combined into a group on one channel of the display hand-held trans-
mitter.
Example:
Drive 1 is taught-in on channel 1, drive 2 on channel
2 and drive 3 on channel 3. All three drives are to be
combined into a group on channel 4.
1. Select channel 1.
2. Press the PAIR key for at least 5 sec. The drive
clicks.
3. Select channel 4.
4. Press the PAIR key for at least 5 sec. The drive clicks, the rst drive has been added to the
group.
5. Select channel 2.
6. Press the PAIR key for at least 5 sec. The drive clicks.
7. Select channel 4.
8. Press the PAIR key for at least 5 sec. The drive clicks, the second drive has been added to
the group.
9. Select channel 3.
10. Press the PAIR key for at least 5 sec. The drive clicks.
11. Select channel 4.
12. Press the PAIR key for at least 5 sec. The drive clicks, the third drive has been added to the
group.
Ifdrive2istoberemovedfromthegroupagain,proceedasfollows:
1. Select channel 2.
2. Press the PAIR key for at least 5 sec. The drive clicks.
3. Select channel 4.
4. Press the PAIR key for at least 5 sec. The drive clicks, the second drive has been removed
from the group.

10. Setting a timer
Each timer corresponds to a move command in UP or DOWN direction, which is automatically
sent by the hand-held transmitter at the specied time.
Six different timers can be assigned to each channel.
The menu for setting the timer is structured as follows:

You can leave the submenus and return to the main screen at any time by pressing the LEFT
key. Any unsaved changes will be lost.
To programme a timer, please proceed as follows.
1. Opening the „select channel“ submenu
In the main screen, move the cursor to the timer menu symbol with the
LEFT or RIGHT key and open the „Select channel“ submenu with the STOP
key.
2. Select the corresponding channel
In the „Select channel“ menu, select the channel for which you want to
operate a timer with the UP or DOWN key.
If a timer is active for the respective channel, this is indicated by the alarm
clock symbol next to the channel.
Conrm the selected channel with the STOP key. This opens the submenu
„Select timer“.

3. Select the timer
Once the channel has been selected, you can choose between six timers.
Here, too, active timers are indicated by the alarm clock symbol.
You can select the timer with the UP and DOWN keys and conrm your
selection with the STOP key. This opens the submenu „Set timer“.
4. Set the timer
In the menu „Set timer“ you have the following options:

Moves the cursor UP and DOWN.
Cursor above time: The time can be set.
Cursor over „UP“: Switches between UP and DOWN.
Cursor over day of week: Activates or deactivates the respective
day.
Cursor over „Active“: Switches between active/inactive.
Cursor over disc: Saves the settings and returns to the „Select
timer“ menu.
Returns to the „Select timer“ menu. The settings are not saved.
No function
If the timer is set to „Active“ and the settings are saved via the disc symbol, an UP or DOWN
signal is sent on the activated weekdays at the set time.
If you want to deactivate a timer, you only have to set it to „Inactive“.
11. Settings menu
The following setting options are available:
Set time + date In this menu you can set the date and time.
Select language In this menu you can set the language.
Information Information about the hand-held transmitter is available in this menu.
Colour scheme In this menu you can select different colour schemes.

12. Resettingthehand-heldtransmittertothedeliverystate
To reset the hand-held transmitter to the delivery state, press the PAIR key for at least
30 seconds.
After 10 seconds, the symbol begins to ash quickly, after 20 seconds the symbol starts
to ash slowly and after 30 seconds the symbol turns off. The hand-held transmitter is reset
to the factory settings.
13. Changing the batteries
Replace the batteries as soon as the display no longer lights up when an operating key is
pressed. See chapter „Insert batteries“.
