You have just purchased an absolute quality product, the Cerat Fusion Set from the Emerald Edition. Aluminum
and ceramic are combined in sophisticated manufacturing process to create the perfect pan. The highly efcient
stainless steel base in combination with our heat-resistant Cerat Fusion coating makes Cerat a professional
standard for your kitchen and unites the following properties:
Please read the instructions for use carefully and only use Cerat Fusion ceramic pans as described in these
instructions for use. Check whether the delivered goods are fully complete and there is no sign of transport
damage. If there is cause for complaint, then please contact our customer service. Contact details can be found
on the last page of these instructions.

and only use the products as described in these
instructions to avoid personal injuries or material
damage.
Should the product be handed over to third par-
ties, ensure that these instructions are handed
over too. Manufacturer accepts neither liability
nor responsibility for non-adherence.
The pans are only designed for private and not
for commercial application.
Keep the pans out of the reach of children. It is
associated with a high risk of injury.
Attention danger of burns: pan and glass lid can
get very hot. Grip the pan by the handle and
the lid by the knob. It is best to use thermal
insulating gloves.
Take special care when handling hot oil and fat.
 Burning oil – cover the fames with a cloth or a
blanket. Never pour water onto hot oil or fat!
 Allow to cool down before transport!
Let the pan and lid cool down fully, before you
clean them.
Never pour cold water over to cool down – real
danger of injury.
Don´t forget that the grip adapter on the 24 cm
and 28 cm pans can get very hot after direct use
on the hob, in the dishwasher and especially in
the oven! You could burn yourself!
The 20 cm pan is not ovenproof!

Before tting the handle, remove the protective cover from the screw-x element on the side of the pan.
During tting, take special care to see that the screw screws in easily. If this is not the case, then the
screw is sitting at an angle to the thread. Screw out the screw and re-enter making sure the screw is
aligned with the thread. Never use force. Screws entered with force can lead to damage to the internal
thread and the handle can never be xed in position again.
Do not use a pan with a loose handle – certain danger of injury!

Assembly
Before you can use your Cerat Fusion pan for the rst time you have to x the handle to the pan (Ø 20 cm)
and the knob onto the glass lid. The handles are numbered to match the pans. Before you x them, please
ensure that you have selected the right handle. The knobs also have screws with matching lengths, which have
to be used just for that particular lid. Unless you use the correct screws, you will not be able to x the knobs
and handles.

Fixing the removable handles (Ø 24 / Ø 28 cm)

To attach the removable handle, pull the slider in your direction (away from the pan), then hold the handle at
the same angle as the adapter and slide the handle over it. When the upper edges sit next to each other, press
the handle lightly downwards and release pressure on the slider – the handle is now xed in position. To remove
the handle please proceed in reverse order.
Should the metallic sleeve or the handle adapter loosen, tighten the inside screw with light pressure. Do not
use force, it can damage the threads.
Do not use pans with a loose handles – they can cause injury!

Handle assembly information: Before you can attach the handle, rst remove the protective cover from the
metal sleeve. To avoid the possibility of any damage, pull the protective cover back onto the metal sleeve after it
has fully cooled. Please note that the protective cover must be removed every time before use, and is therefore
not suitable for use in the oven.

You can remove the removable handles (Ø 24 cm and Ø 28 cm pans) with just one click - so that they can
be put in the oven or for space-saving storage.
The eece inserts between the pans not only lets you save space, but also ensures safe storage.
We recommend choosing a hob which has the same diameter as the base of the pan for energy-saving
cooking.
If you are using gas, make sure that the pan sits in the middle of the hob otherwise the handle/the handles
could become damaged by heat from the ame.
The Cerat Fusion ceramic coating with non-stick quality allows you to cook or fry almost without having to
add oil or fat at all.
Pans stay hot for a few minutes, even after the hob has been switched off.
It is best to avoid overheating.
Don´t use any sharp or pointed metallic objects in the pan!
Don´t pour cold liquid into the hot empty pan.
In order to be able to take best advantage of your ceramic-coated pan, we recommend wiping-over the
Cerat Fusion ceramic coating with cooking oil, with a serviette or a soft cloth before using for the rst time.
Repeat this process at regular intervals to keep your Cerat Fusion in optimum condition.
Try to avoid letting cooking utensils boil dry- this prevents damage to the vessels and the hob.
Don’t move pans back and forth on the glass-ceramic hob, whether they are hot or cold. It can lead to scrat-
ches or marks on the surface of your hob.
The marks can be removed with a commercially available glass-ceramic hob cleaner.
After often use, the white inside coating of the ceramic pan can change color slightly (this effect is not so
noticeable for pans with a darker coating). The coloration of the coating has no effect whatsoever on the
performance of the pan.
Your pan can develop a so-called hollow bulge when it is cold. This is not a sign of a fault, more so a technical
feature and equalizes in heated condition.
Non-adherence to our instructions in the operating instructions can lead to limitations in the Cerat Fusion
cooking utensils and in turn the function.

Care and cleaning
Clean your ceramic pans under running water before using them for the rst time. Then grease them, heat them
up to a high temperature and nally clean them. Always clean the pans after every use. They are easy to clean:
Let the pan cool down completely and clean as soon as possible after use.
Generally speaking, the pan can be cleaned in the dishwasher, but if you would like the long-term benets
and function of the pan, cleaning by hand is always best.
Cleaning is done with normal household washing-up liquid and a soft cloth or with a soft brush under running
warm water.
Depending on what you have fried or cooked, the pan can be wiped out with a soft household tissue.
Don´t use scouring pads or aggressive cleaning agents.
As already mentioned under the point “Operating Instructions“, we recommend oiling the Cerat Fusion
ceramic coating at regular intervals.
After cleaning in the dishwasher, it may be possible that the adapter for the 24 and 28cm pans develops a dark-colored
oxide layer. Here we recommend wiping over the adapter with a damp cloth.
