When using electrical appliances, basic precautions
should always be followed, including the following:

the voltage stated on the rating label of the coffee
maker.
Please do not immerse cord, plug in water or other
liquid in case of fire,electric shock and injury to
person.
The appliance should be closed when it used by or
near children.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow to cooling before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to
an authorized service facility for examination,
repair or adjustment.

The container is designed for use with this
appliance. It must never be used on a range top.

To disconnect, turn any control to “Off”, remove
plug from outlet. Always hold the plug. But never
pull the cord.
Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during
the brewing cycles. Be careful not to get burned
by the steam.

so do not touch with hand. Use handles or knobs
only.

The appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years old.
This appliance has been incorporated with a
grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in
your house is well earthed.
Do not set a hot container on a hot or cold
surface.
Do not operate the coffee maker without water.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a

Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not
damaged. Clean and dry all detachable parts thoroughly
according to the section “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”,
then fill water into water tank to the MAX level and follow the
operation of “USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER” to brew water for
several times without coffee powder, then discard the water.

The blue indicator will flash slowly and the appliance
will not work if you press On/Off button under the
condition of without water in the water tank. Therefore,
make sure the water tank is filled with water before
brewing.
Place the funnel into the funnel support, and then turn it
clockwise until it is locked into the funnel support, make
sure it is assembled correctly, Place 1x4 paper filter in
the funnel.
Add coffee powder into paper filter. Usually a cup of
coffee needs a level spoon of coffee powder, but you may

Don't take out the sprayer during brewing, the hot water

USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
The sprayer, funnel and carafe must be assembled well in
position before brewing.
Do not remove the sprayer, funnel and carafe during
brewing.
Open the water tank cover and fill the water tank with
drinking water and then close the water tank cover.
The water level should not exceed MAX level as indicated
on the water gauge.

Insert the carafe onto warming plate horizontally.
Remember to open the strength control valve clockwise
to avoid water spill before brewing. And you can adjust
the coffee strength through strength control valve based
on your personal taste.
Plug the power cord into the outlet.
Press the On/OFF button once, the blue indicator
illuminates and then the appliance will begin working.
The brewing process can be interrupted by pressing the
On/Off button again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Note: the coffee you get will less than the water you have
added, as some water is absorbed by coffee ground.
After each brewing, remember to empty the water
remained in the boiler according to the following
operation: firstly, unplug the appliance, detach the
sprayer, funnel and carafe and then reverse the appliance

Clean Coffee Maker regularly with a damp cloth and wipe
dry.
After each use, hand wash carafe and brew basket with
mild detergent.
Rinse thoroughly. The thermal carafe is not dishwasher
safe.
Coffee oil stains in the carafe may be removed by placing
a small amount of dishwasher detergent and water in
carafe and allowing it to soak overnight.
CAUTION: Always unplug your Coffee Maker prior to cleaning.

Remove out carafe to serve when finish brewing. Before
remove out the carafe, you shall close the strength
control valve anticlockwise to “Drip stop” position and
then turn off the appliance, at that time, the blue
indicator will turn off.
8. The warming plate will keep working to keep your
coffee warm, after the brewing process is finished, The
blue indicator keeps illuminating during keeping warm
process. The appliance will be cut off power
automatically within 120 minutes and then the blue
indicator will turn off. For an optimum coffee taste, serve
it just after brewing.

If not, the water remained in the boiler will produce
abnormal odor and white powder will came out. After
empty the boiler, replace the sprayer.
Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect the
power supply when not use.
Note: pay attention to pour the coffee out, otherwise you
may be hurt as the temperature of coffee just finished is
high.

Finally, empty the water in the boiler as the operation
mentioned above.
Great tasting coffee starts with fresh water. Where local
water is of poor quality, you may wish to use bottled or
filtered water. Distilled water is not recommended.
If you buy large portions of coffee beans, separate them
into one- or two-week portions and store them in tinted,
airtight containers. Refrigeration is not recommended
since condensation tends to form on beans whenever the
container is opened.
The best cup of coffee comes from coffee beans that are
properly ground just before brewing. Be sure to select a
medium grind, which is ideal for automatic drip coffee
makers. We recommend using the Gevi On Conical Burr
Coffee Grinder with Integrated Scale.

REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
Fill the water tank with water and descaler to the MAX
level in the gauge of coffee maker (the scale of water and
descaler is 4:1, the detail refers to the instruction of
descaler. Please use “household descaler”, you can use
the citric acid instead of the descaler (the one hundred
parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
Push carafe on warming plate, pay attention to let center
line of carafe aligns with that of funnel.
Hold and press the On/Off button for about 3 seconds,
the blue indicator will change to illuminating solidly from
flashing and then the appliance will begin working.
The descaling is finished when the solution in the water
tank being boiled away. Empty the solution in the boiler
as the operation mentioned above.
Then turn off the appliance and refill the water tank with
clean water.
