The manufacturer guarantees proper functioning of the device in Class III climate conditions, that is an ambient temperature
not exceeding +250 C and relative humidity up to 60%. Frosting or misting of windows is a natural process resulting from
temperature differences when relative humidity exceeds 60%. Calling a technician in such a case would be of no use.
It is very important that this device operate on a level surface. Operating this device on a slanted surface is not permitted - this
might make condensation difficult and lead to a malfunction.
The device’s compressor is designed to operate with a voltage of no less than 210 V and no more than 240 V. Using this device
beyond these power parameters may lead to irreversible damage to the device.
If the condenser needs to be cleaned, and it should be at least once every two months, use a soft brush and brush along the
ribs in order to remove dust and other residue.
The manufacturer does not bear responsibility for damage to the device resulting from an uncleaned condenser.
If the permanently-fixed power cord becomes damaged, then it must be replaced through the manufacturer, at a specialized
repair facility, or by a qualified technician in order to prevent injury.
Do not block the condenser’s fan vents.
Protect the cooling circuitry from any damage.
Do not use any electrical devices inside the cooling chamber.
The confectionery display cabinet should be set up so that the power plug is easily accessible.
CAUTION
The device must be carefully positioned on a level surface before it is turned on.

1. PURPOSE
Pastry counter is a universal refrigerating unit used for displaying and transient storing groceries and confectionery
goods in lowered temperature.
The scope of the temperatures within which the unit operates:
• from 6 to 12 °C for the display of groceries and confectionery goods
The producer guarantees proper functioning of counters under conditions prevailing in III climatic zone, i.e. at
ambient temperature not exceeding + 25 °C and at a relative humidity not exceeding 60 %.
When the panes mist over or when hoarfrost forms on them it is a quite usual phenomenon and results from a
temperature difference when a relative humidity exceeds 60 %. There is no reason to call out servicemen in such
cases.
2. GENERAL INFORMATION
Pastry counter is an open refrigerating unit made of electro-galvanized sheet coated with powder varnish (or
possibly stainless steel) and cold rolled profiles.
The whole construction is coated with powder varnish.
Sides of the unit are made of highly percussive pressed polystyrene, cold and hot electro galvanized sheet (or
possibly stainless steel) filled with polyurethane isothermal boiling.
The frame of the counter is made of zinc coated sheet, powder painted, and filled with polyurethane foam as
thermal insulation. The base of the counter is welded and made of cold rolled profiles and zinc coated and powder
painted steel sheet.
Side -walls of the counter are made of hot-formed polystyrene, highly impact-resistant (SB/K) and filled with polyu-
rethane foam. The upper part of the counter is shielded with flat or curved panes.

4. OPERATION
This pastry counter has a CE Certificate. The manufacturer ships a complete counter, assembled, packed and
designated with a rating plate.
4.1. cooling system
The cooling system is a single stage compressing and cooling loop, controlled by chamber type electronic tempe-
rature controller (MS) with an
automatic defrosting feature -defrosting every six hours. The cooling system is filled with an ecological coolant
R404A.
Apart from scheduled cleaning of the condenser and emptying the condensate tank, the cooling system does not
require any maintenance.
4.1.1. compressor
The compressor is equipped with an integrated overload relay (thermal relay) protecting the motor from
unintended overload.
In case of an unusually loud noise of the compressor or if its start-up is difficult, turn of the system and check the
condenser (when dirty; clean it).
If the compressor is hot – wait until it cools off – then switch it on again.
4.2. wiring system and power supply
Plug the counter into a low voltage main (220V/50Hz) and onto power point with a protective pin (zeroing).
Operating the counter plugged into a socket without a protective pin is inadmissible.
Prior to plugging in check the supply voltage rating .
Please take care to install proper fused protection 16 – 20 A, which should be located before power point, accor-
ding to wiring diagram.
An authorized electrician must make the installation.
If the non-detachable feeder cord is damaged, in order to avoid running any danger, it must be renewed at the
manufacturer facility, at an authorized service or by a qualified electrician.
Irregular electrical installation can threat with an electrical shock.
NOTE
The compressor of the counter is designed to work at a supply voltage not lower than 210 V and not
higher than 240 V. Operating the counter outside these values can lead to irreversible damage to the
cooling unit.

4.3. installation & usage
When installing cooling cabinets, it is important to remember that they emit a lot of heat. If a shop is not adequately
ventilated, then this quickly leads to an
excessive rise in ambient temperature. This causes a persistently high condensation temperature and pressure
and a reduction in the effectiveness of the
cooling device. The device’s motor then has to operate in a state of overload and in extreme cases may lead to
permanent damage to the cooling device.
1). Therefore it is recommended to:
● ensure a good ventilation of the room;
● periodically (often) check the cooling unit condenser (for fouling);
● set the refrigerated counter well away from any heat source (like radiators) and where it is not exposed
to direct sun;
● do not set the counter where it can be directly affected by fans (e.g. ceiling fans).
2). To decrease the operation noise and to properly install the panes and as well to fully guarantee draining of the
condensate from drip pans, align the counter precisely horizontally. This can be achieved by means of four
adjusted legs
3). The counter is checked and adjusted.
After plugging into power main, wait until a proper working temperature is reached and only then load the counter
with products, however, take care:
● that the load is stacked not higher than 20 cm;
● that products are distributed equally, keeping between product items gaps to allow cooling air to circulate
adequately;
● that inlet gaps for cold air are not blocked by products.
To maximally reduce the drying up of stored food products it is recommended to store them wrapped in air-tight
packaging, as well, as if possible to load into the
counter products already pre-cooled. Please, remember the greater the temperature difference between products
and the chamber, the greater the evaporating of water from products.
This water will sediment as hoarfrost on the condenser and consequently will additionally substantially impair the
cooling effect.
Setting the temperature level.
4.4. transport
The device needs to be carefully secured while being transported in order to protect it from shock and accidental
overturning. Glass parts and painted surfaced are especially sensitive to these types of dangers.
The device should remain in a horizontal position whether it is being transported, carried, or moved from one spot
to another.
● press (set-button) for one second: the
preset temperature will appear on the
screen;
● after two seconds, this number will begin
to blink;
●increase or decrease this number using
these two keys and, until you
reach (set-button) the desired tempe-
rature level;
● press again in order to confirm the
newly set temperature level;

5. MAINTENANCE
User’s are responsible for on-going maintenance of the device by cleaning the cabinet’s interior and exterior
surfaces on a regular basis.
Cleaning should take place after the device has been disconnected from its power source using warm water along
with widely available cleaning dishwashing agents. After the device has been cleaned, perform the above-
mentioned actions in reverse order.
Do not use sharp tools to remove stains from interior and exterior surfaces. In the event that the interior lamp’s
light bulb becomes damaged or wears out, replace the old light bulb with a new one.
In order to accomplish this, disconnect the device from its power source (in order to prevent electric shock).
● remove the fluorescent lamp’s housing from the base
● remove the lamp from the clamps
● remove the sockets from the lamp
● replace the old lamp with a new one
● install the sockets
● insert the lamp into the clamps
● install the housing over the lamp assembly and connect the cabinet to a power source
In the event that the light bulb in the display illumination assembly becomes damaged or wears out, the following
steps need to be taken:
● disconnect the device from its power source (in order to prevent electric shock)
● remove the fluorescent lamp from the clamps
● remove the sockets from the lamp
● replace the old lamp with a new one
6. SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS AND WORKPLACE HYGIENE
1). Do not plug the device into a power source until safety elements are installed.
2). All installation work should be done by an authorized electrician.
3). All repairs and adjustments to the electrical system may only be made by an authorized technician. In case
problems such as electrical
surges or sparking occur, immediately disconnect the device from power and call an electrician in order to fix the
problem.
4). Washing and cleaning may only take place after power has been disconnected.
5). If the permanently-fixed power cord becomes damaged, then it must be replaced through the manufacturer,
at a specialized repair facility,
or by a qualified technician in order to prevent injury.
