- TCP/IP video intercom system.
- Installtion in an existing network structure (requires the addition of D4L-G+/PoE switches) or in its own structure using bre or
UTP cable category 5 or higher.
- Up to 98 blocks for each instqallation.
- Up to 19 door panels for each block.
- Up to 799 apartments for each block.
- Up to 19 general guard units for installation and 9 guard units for each block.
- Up to 32 ONVIF cameras.
- Up to 5 LCU-16/G+ li controller unit groups for each block with up to 6 units for each group.
2. CHARACTERISTICS
- e installation and handling of this equipment must be carried out by authorised personnel.
- e current regulations require the feeder to be protected with a circuit breaker.
- e entire installation must travel at least 40 cm from any other installation.
- In the power supply (FA-G+):
- Do not over-tighten the screws of the terminal strip.
- Install the power supply in a dry and protected place,without risk of dripping or splashing water.
- Avoid locations near heat sources, damp or dusty.
- Do not block the ventilation slots so that air can circulate freely.
- To avoid damage, the power supply must be rmly anchored. Use a DIN 46277 guide for xing (8 DIN).
- To avoid electric shock, do not remove the cover or handle the wires connected to the terminals.

To congure the li controller unit, the following steps must be taken:
- Set the unit number setting it up with the dip-switches.
- Reset the unit.
- Finally, access with the web browser to the factory default IP address and congure the module in the web client.
4. DEVICE INSTALLATION
For the decive installation, rst we must make sure that it is connected to the 12V power supply or, failing that, to a D4L-G+/PoE output.
In case only one li controller unit is required ( until the 16th oor), we will congure the dip-switches so that is congured as unit number
1 or Master.
Reset the unit by pressing the reset pushbutton until the “PWR” led turns red and when it is operational again, access the web client through
the web browser typing the 10.0.0.253 IP address.
In case you need to install more li controler units (with each of them will increase in 16 the number of oors that we can reach) to reach a
bigger number of oors, we will connect them through the “A+, A- y GND” ports.
Later, we will do the same procedure as in the case where there is only a slingle li controller unit. We shall install and congure each of the
li controller units required in the installation one by one.
e device must be connected to the network through the LAN port by which it will only receive data, that is to say, it must be connected to
a NON PoE output of the switch if we power it at 12V.
Necessary elements to complete an installation:
• FA-G+ power supply for each 8 devices (placas calle, monitores…).
• Make the distribution of the dierent devices through 4 distributed outputs D4L-G+/PoE distributors or via standard PoE
switches.
• Choose 6502/G+ door panels, or a modular composition for the Nexa panel to be able to register all the units in it and set a video
intercom system as such.
• Choose ART 1/G+ audio units, de ART 7/G+/48 video units, or ART 7W/G+/48 units with integrated Wi-Fi to receive calls
through the G2CALL+ app (available for Android and IOS).
• Add ART 7/G+/PCM or ART 7W/G+/PCM video units if you wish that your indoor unit has a PCM/G+ private call panel.
• In case of a daisy-chain distribution of the devices (IN/OUT), employ DCP/G+ injectors, accompanied by FA-DC48/G+ power
supply and DCS/G+ Ethernet switches in monitors.

6. DEVICE CONFIGURATION THROUGH THE WEB CLIENT
to congure the device, it will be necessary to connect to its web client, as it is not possible to congure iton the device itself as it lacks a screen
or button panel.
We will connect with the web browser to the device IP address, which will be the 10.0.0.253 as its settings are in factory default values.


5. DEVICE OPERATION
To be able to use the LCU-16/G+ it will be necessary to enable it in every device of the installation, you can visit the installer manual of the
dierent devices in the website of each prduct, accessing the “Downloads” dropdown..
ere are two operation modes of the li controller unit which will be detailed below:
- Basic mode:
In this mode the device only enables the corresponding relay to the oor where is located the device which the magnetic key that is pre-
sented in the keybuss is associated, or when a door opening aer a call from the entry door panel.
- Advanced mode:
In the advanced mode, the li controller unit enables the corresponding relays to the destination oor and origin oor. ose will be ena-
bled when a magnetic key presentation in the entry panel RFID reader (relays of the entry panel and of the apartment number enabled),
when a call to the li from the apartment monitor (relay of the apartment oor number enabled twice), when invite your neighbor during
an intercom process (relay of the guest apartment number and relay of the host apartment number enabled) and when a door opening in
a call from the door entry panel (relays of the entry panel and of the apartment oor number enabled).
