Cleaning Instructions
Your fixture is made from quality materials that will last for many, many years with minimum care. You
may want to periodically clean the diffuser, or interior of the fixture using a mild, non-abrasive glass
cleaner and soft cloth. Do NOT use solvents, or cleaners containing abrasive agents. When cleaning
the inside of the fixture, make sure you have the power turned off, and do not spray liquid cleaner
directly onto the bulb, socket, ballast, or wiring.

You have completely uncoiled Flexolight to avoid damage
from excess heat (Fig. 1).
The end sealing cap, and line cord are securely attached
to the rope light body.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This light has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of
electric shock. This plug will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If the plug does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. DO NOT ALTER THE PLUG.
We recommend you read through these instructions entirely before starting your installation in order to help you
understand all the steps and options pertaining to your particular installation.

Carefully remove all the parts from the packaging, and lay them out
on the floor, or other large smooth work surface. Cut the shipping
cables with wire cutters then completely uncoil your Flexolight
rope light (Fig. 2). Be careful not to cut or nick the Flexolight itself.
Connect the line cord to the Flexolight by aligning the line cord
adaptor with the rope light adaptor push them together then
position the lock collar and twisting to tighten (Fig. 3). NOTE: The
Line cord adaptor and the rope light adaptor will only fit together
one way. It is much easier to shape the rope light if it has been
plugged into an outlet for a few minutes. The heat from the lamps
softens the outer plastic jacket, and increases its flexibility during
installation. Do NOT shape the rope light while plugged in; warm
the light first, unplug the light, then shape it to suit your needs.
4Once your have completed laying out the Flexolight rope lighting to
your liking, you can plug the Flexolight rope light into the nearest
outlet to turn it on. As a reminder, if installed outdoors, you use a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet for safe operation
