INTENDED USE
The Knee Walker is a mobility device intended for use by individuals who are unable to bear
weight on the lower extremity of one leg. The device features a folding frame with height
adjustable handle and knee pad to support the injured leg, while allowing the other leg to be used
for propulsion.
WARNING: DO NOT sit on the Knee Walker and self propel. DO NOT use the Knee Walker
as a wheelchair or transport chair.
UNPACKING
1. Carefully remove all components, shown and listed below, from carton.

ASSEMBLY (REFER TO PICTURES)
Secure handle bar
1. Rotate the handle bar up to vertical position
as shown at right.
2. Rotate the handle bar lock clip up to lock it
as shown at far right.
3. If the handle bar is wobbly and insecure
in the base, open the lock clip and turn it
clockwise to tighten it; if the handle bar
is too tight, open the lock clip and turn it
counterclockwise to loosen it.
4. Close the lock clip to secure handle bar.

Install knee pad
1. Insert the knee pad post into the frame
receptacle; the knee pad post has a series of
height adjustment holes, shown at right, that
interface with the frame receptacle hole.
Choose the height adjustment hole that will
provide the desired knee pad height before
proceeding.
2. Ensure holes are aligned, and insert the
locking knob through the desired knee pad
post hole into the frame receptacle hole.
3. Turn the knob clockwise until fully
tightened.
4. Insert the pin and lock it into place as shown at right.
WARNING: Ensure the pin is locked and the knee pad is securely locked into the frame
receptacle before proceeding.
Adjust handle bar height
Info: Consult your healthcare professional to determine proper
handle bar height adjustment. We recommend adjusting handle
bar height while standing, with the good leg straight and the
injured leg resting in the center of the knee pad.
1. Unscrew the two-piece knob to release the handle bar
assembly from the steering column.
2. Place the handle bars at the desired height inside in the
steering column, choosing the height adjustment hole that
will provide the desired handle bar height before proceeding.
3. Ensure holes are aligned. Install the knob through the handle
bar assembly and steering column holes into the back piece
of the knob.
4. Turn knob clockwise until fully tightened.
Install storage bag
1. Install storage bag in front of handle bars, as shown at right,
with pouch facing forward and handle at top.
2. Secure storage bag securely with the three hook and loop
straps around handle bar shaft and both handle bars as
shown at right.

Secure brake cable
Secure brake cable to the steering column in
front and the frame at back of knee walker with
the two hook and loop brake straps as shown at
right.
sNOTICE: Ensure brake cable is secured but
not too tightly bound to operate, using the
two hook and loop brake straps provided.
OPERATION
WARNING: DO NOT use the Knee Walker if
the brakes are not working properly.
WARNING: Always be aware of your
surroundings and watch where you’re going while using knee walker.
WARNING: Always lock the brakes before attempting to transfer to or from the knee walker.
WARNING: ONLY one person should operate the knee walker at a time.
Using the rear-wheel brakes
Temporarily apply brakes: use your ngertips to
squeeze brake lever to right handgrip. To release
brakes: release ngers.
Lock brakes: pull the brake lever toward you and
push the locking pin on top of the lever down —
the pin will lock the wheels in place. To release
brakes: squeeze the lever to disengage the pin
and unlock the wheels.
Operating the Knee Walker
WARNING: Before using the Knee Walker,
ensure knee pad and handle bars are at a
comfortable height for you, and adjust if
not.
WARNING: Before using the Knee Walker,
practice using it with an attendant until
you are condent. Ensure you are able to
operate the brakes before beginning.
1. Position the injured leg on the knee pad
centered side to side with limb distributed
evenly along length of knee pad. Ensure knee
is resting entirely on knee pad.
2. Begin by using your propulsion leg for very
small steps. As you gain condence, increase
your speed until it is safe and comfortable.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• To remove dust and dirt, wipe knee walker gently with a clean, soft, damp cloth.
• To clean, use a clean, soft cloth and a mild soap and water solution, rinse with clear water, then
dry with a soft cloth.
• Inspect wheels periodically for wear or damage. Verify that wheels are free of hair or any other
obstruction to free wheel operation. Inspect caster stems for assembly tightness.
sNOTICE: DO NOT use solvents, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads to clean this product.
WARNING: Ensure proper function of brakes before each use.
WARNING: If handgrips or brakes are loose, DO NOT USE KNEE WALKER. Contact your
Graham-Field authorized distributor immediately for repair.
WARNING: Inspect the knee walker periodically for proper function and wear. Ensure
locked handle height; check t and tightness of all nuts, bolts and knobs. If any component
is not in proper working order or appears worn, contact your Graham-Field authorized
distributor immediately for repair and/or appropriate replacement parts.
WARNING: The use of non-Lumex replacement parts will void the warranty, and could
create a hazardous condition resulting in serious personal injury.

LIMITED WARRANTY
SCOPE OF WARRANTY
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) warrants to the original purchaser only that it will replace or repair components, at GF’s sole
discretion, that are defective in material or workmanship under normal use and service. All warranties are conditioned upon the
proper use of the products strictly in accordance with good commercial practice and applicable GF instructions and manuals,
including proper use and maintenance. To the extent that a component is warranted by a third party, GF conveys all of its rights
under that warranty to the original purchaser, to the extent permitted. This limited warranty shall only apply to defects that are
reported to GF’s customer service team within the applicable warranty period and which, upon examination by GF or its authorized
representative, prove to be a warranty item. This limited warranty is not transferable. Within the guidelines set forth in this
document, the warranted components and time period are set forth below:

The applicable warranty period shall commence from date of shipment to the original customer, unless there is an expiration date
on the component in which case the warranty shall expire on the earlier of warranty period or the expiration date.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
This limited warranty shall only apply to defects that are reported to the Distributor from whom the Customer purchased the
product within the applicable warranty period. If there is not a Distributor, you must contact GF directly by calling 1.770.368.4700,
sending a fax request to 1.770.368.2386, or by e-mailing a request to cs@grahameld.com. Specic directions will be provided by the
Customer Service Representative. Failure to abide by the specic directions will result in denial of the warranty claim.
EXCLUSIONS
The warranty does not cover and GF shall not be liable for the following:
1) Defects, damage, or other conditions caused, in whole or in part, by misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, freight
damage, tampering or failure to seek and obtain repair or replacement in a timely manner;
2) Products which are not installed, used, or properly cleaned and maintained as required in the ofcial manual for the applicable
product;
3) Products considered to be of a non-durable nature including, but not limited to: lters, fuses, gaskets, lubricants, and charts;
4) Accessories or parts not provided by GF;
5) Charges by anyone for adjustments, repairs, replacement parts, installation or other work performed upon or in connection with
such products which are not expressly authorized in writing, in advance, by GF;
6) Any labor or shipping charges incurred in the replacement part installation or repair;
7) Costs and expenses of regular maintenance and cleaning; and
8) Representations and warranties made by any person or entity other than GF.

THIS WARRANTY IS GF’S ONLY WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. GF MAKES
NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF ANY MODEL OR SAMPLE WAS SHOWN TO THE CUSTOMER, SUCH MODEL OR SAMPLE WAS USED
MERELY TO ILLUSTRATE THE GENERAL TYPE AND QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT AND NOT TO REPRESENT THAT THE PRODUCT

USO ENTENDIDO

ENSAMBLAJE (CONSULTE LAS IMÁGENES)
Asegure el manillar
1. Gire el manillar hasta la posición vertical como se
muestra a la derecha.
2. Gire el clip de cierre del manillar hacia arriba para
cerrarlo como se muestra en el extremo derecho.
3. Si el manillar está tambaleante e inseguro en la
base, abra el clip de cierre y gírelo hacia la derecha
para apretarlo; si el manillar está demasiado
apretado, abra el clip y gírelo en sentido contrario
a las agujas del reloj para aojarlo.
4. Cierre el clip de cierre para asegurar el manillar.

Instale la Plataforma de Rodilla
1. Inserte el poste de la plataforma de rodilla
en el receptáculo del marco; el poste
tiene una serie de huecos de ajuste de
altura, que se muestran a la derecha, que

marco. Elija el hueco de ajuste de altura
que proporcionará la altura deseada de la

plataforma de rodilla.
1. Desatornille la perilla de dos piezas para liberar el conjunto
del manillar de la columna de dirección.
2. Coloque el manillar a la altura deseada dentro de la
columna de dirección, eligiendo el hueco de ajuste de altura
que proporcionará la altura deseada del manillar antes de
continuar.
3. Asegúrese de que los huecos estén alineados. Instale la

Asegure el cable de freno
Asegure el cable del freno a la columna de
dirección en la parte delantera y el marco en la
parte posterior del rodador con las dos correas
de freno de gancho y bucle como se muestra a la
derecha.
sAVISO: Asegúrese de que el cable del freno
esté asegurado pero que no esté demasiado
apretado para operar, utilizando las dos
correas de freno de gancho y bucle provistas.
OPERACIÓN
ADVERTENCIA: NO DEBE utilizar el Andador

Usando los frenos de las ruedas traseras
Aplique los frenos temporalmente: use las yemas
de los dedos para apretar la palanca del freno en
el mango derecho. Para soltar los frenos: suelte los
dedos.
Cierre los frenos: tire de la palanca del freno
hacia usted y presione el aler de cierre en la
parte superior de la panca hacia abajo; el aler
cerrará las ruedas en su lugar. Para liberar los
frenos: apriete la palanca para desacoplar el aler
y abrir las ruedas.
Operando el andador
ADVERTENCIA: Antes de usar el Andador
de Rodilla, asegúrese de que la plataforma
de rodilla y el las manijas estén a una altura
cómoda para usted, y ajústelos si no.
ADVERTENCIA: Antes de usar el Andador
de Rodilla, practique usarlo con un asistente
hasta que tenga conanza. Asegúrese de poder

LIMPIANDO Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Para eliminar el polvo y la suciedad, limpie el Andador de Rodilla suavemente con un paño
limpio, suave y húmedo.
• Para limpiar, utilice un suave paño limpio y un jabón suave y agua, enjuague con agua limpia, y
seque con un paño suave.
• Inspeccione periódicamente las ruedas para desgaste o daño. Verique que las ruedas estén
libres de pelo o cualquier otro obstrucción a la operación de rueda libre. Inspeccione el
cojinete/eje de las ruedas para asamblea rme.

reparación.
ADVERTENCIA: Inspeccione el Andador de Rodilla semanalmente para función propio y uso.
Asegúrese de que todos los tuercas, tornillo y perillas están apretados. Si algún componente
no está trabajando correctamente o se parece usado, contacte a su distribuidor autorizado de
Graham-Field inmediatamente para reparación y/o partes reemplazados.
ADVERTENCIA: Uso de partes de reemplace que no son de Lumex puede cambiar la estructura
del Andador de Rodilla, puede ser que la garantía se hace herida, y causar una condición

GARANTÍA LIMITADA
AMBITO DE GARANTÍA
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) garantía al comprador original o arrendatario (cual quiera es el “Cliente”) solamente, que va
reemplazar o reparar componentes, a la decisión solo de GF, cuales son defectos en material o calidad utilizado normalmente y
con servicio. La garantía es para partes solamente y no incluye fuerza laboral o el costo de transporte. Esta garantía limitada no es
transferible. Todas garantías son condicionales por el uso apropiado del producto estrictamente en acuerdo con las instrucciones
aplicables de GF, incluyendo uso apropiado y mantenimiento. Producto próvido a usuarios como réntales deben ser serviciados
por el proveedor y inspeccionado antes de entrega. Cada usuario debe ser preparado en la operación y seguridad de este producto
antes de uso. Dentro las reglas normales en este documento, los componentes garantizados y el período de tiempo se establecen a
continuación:

El período de garantía se comienza en la fecha de transporte al Cliente a menos que haya una fecha de expiración en el componente
en cual la garantía se expira en la período de garantía o la fecha de expiración.
OBTENIENDO SERVICIO DE GARANTÍA
La garantía limitada solamente aplica a defectos reportados al Distribuidor de quien el Cliente compro el producto y quienes ellos
en turno notica al equipo de Servicio de Cliente de GF dentro el período de garantía aplicable en cuanto será examinado por GF
o un representante autorizado para probar el producto sobre garantía. Falta de seguir las instrucciones especícas resultara en
rechazo de la reclamación de garantía. Si no hay Distribuidor, debes llamar a GF directamente llamando 1.770.368.4700, mandando
fax a 1.770.368.2386 o por email a cs@grahameld.com. Direcciones especícos se van a dar por el Representante de Servicio De
Clientes.
EXCLUSIONES
La garantía no cubre y GF no será responsable de lo siguiente:
1) Defectos, daños u otras condiciones causadas, en su totalidad o en parte, por el mal uso, abuso, negligencia, alteración,
accidentes, daños durante el transporte, manipulación indebida o dejar de solicitar y obtener la reparación o el reemplazo de
una manera oportuna;
2) Productos que no se instalen, utilicen, limpien y mantengan de manera apropiada, como se requiere en el manual ocial
aplicable para el producto;
3) Productos que se consideran que no son de naturaleza duradera, incluyendo, pero sin limitarse a: ruedas, ltros, fusibles, juntas,
lubricantes, y grácos;
4) Accesorios o piezas no suministradas por GF;
5) Cargos por concepto de ajustes, reparaciones, piezas de recambio, instalación u otro trabajo realizado en o relacionados con
tales productos que no estén autorizados expresamente por escrito, de antemano, por GF;
6) Cualquier gasto de mano de obra o de envío que se incurra en la instalación de la pieza de reemplazo o la reparación;
7) Costos y gastos del mantenimiento y limpieza regular; y
8) Representaciones y garantías hechas por cualquier persona o entidad que no sea GF.
GARANTÍA ENTERO, REMEDIO EXCLUSIVO Y DESCARGO DE DAÑOS CONSIGUIENTE
ESTA GARANTÍA ES LA UNICA GARANTÍA DE GF Y ES EN VEZ DE TODAS OTRAS GARANTÍAS, EXPRESIDAS O IMPLICITADAS. GF
NO HACE GARANTÍAS ENTENTIDOS DE CUALQUIERA MANERA INCLUYENDO GARANTÍAS ENTENDIDOS DE COMERCIALIZACIÓN
O IDONEIDAD PARA UN PREPÓSITO PARTICULAR. SI UN MODELO Y MUESTRA SE LE ENSEÑO A UN CLIENTE, TAL MODELO O
MUESTRA FUE UTILIZADO SOLAMENTE PARA ILUSTRAR EL TIPO GENERAL Y CALIDAD DEL PRODUCTO Y NO PARA REPRESENTAR
QUE EL PRODUCTO SE CONFORME CON ESE MODELO Y MUESTRA EN TODOS RESPETOS. TODA RESPONSABILIDAD DE GF POR
CUALQUIER PRODUCTO Y SERVICIO PROVEÍDO ES LIMITADA AL COSTO DEL PRODUCTO EN LA RECLAMACIÓN. EN NO EVENTO
EN CONTRACTO, INDEMNIZACIÓN, GARANTÍA, NEGLIGENCIA, RESPONSABILIDAD ESTRICTA O OTRO QUE GF SERÁ RESPONSABLE
POR CUALQUIER DAÑÓ DIRECTO, ESPECIAL, INDIRECTO, INCIDENTAL, EJEMPLAR O CONSIGUIENTES INCLUYENDO PERO NO
LIMITADO A: DAÑOS PARA PERDIDA DE BENEFICIO O GANANCIA, PERDIDA DE USO, INACTIVO, O SALARIOS DE EMPLEADOS O
TRABAJADORES CONTRACTORES, PAGOS O BENEFICIOS.
NOTAS:
1) Se pueden aplicar términos y condiciones adicionales.
2) Las reclamaciones de ete se deben anotar en los documentos de embarque apropiados y deben hacerse con inmediatez.
Los requisitos especícos para las reclamaciones de etes se rigen por regulaciones internacionales, federales y estatales.
El incumplimiento de estas regulaciones podría resultar en la denegación de la reclamación de ete. GF le ayudará en la
presentación de la reclamación de ete.
3) Las reclamaciones de embarques con faltantes se deben realizar en un plazo de tres (3) días de la fecha de la factura.
