PRODUCT DATA SHEET
Simple-to-use button-per-source
routing control panels with multi-color
illuminated relegendable buttons and
high-resolution displays.
KEY FEATURES
Jupiter Control
Panels L32, L64
BUTTON-PER-SOURCE
ROUTER CONTROL PANELS
These two powerful button-per-source
(BPS) panels provide direct access to
a set of sources. The source set can
be defined by the user for maximum
flexibility. These panels are excellent for
areas where rapid source selection is
required as they provide push-to-select
operation and their large buttons make
for accurate selection. They have the
added advantage of high-resolution color
status displays.
Legendable Buttons for
Customizable Deployment
The buttons on these panels can be
re-labeled by simply removing the caps
and inserting clear film labels which can
be printed on many office printers. The
labels can provide the source identity for
example.
Color Coding for Rapid
Assimilation of Functions
These panels have LED color-coded
buttons. These show whether they are
source buttons or destination buttons.
They also show when a source is locked
or protected to a destination by another
panel.
Multiple Destinations for
Increased Flexibility
Although each of these panels can be
used in the classic single-destination
BPS mode, they can also be configured
to work in a multiple destination
configuration. You can use the panel as
a classic BPS panel for one destination
with all the advantages of speed
that direct press-for-source operation
provides. Then simply select another
destination and the panel provides BPS
operation for that destination instead.
High-Resolution Display with
Color Coding for Razor-Sharp
Operation
These panels have color-coded LED
illuminated buttons and a color-coded
high-resolution display. Any source
or destination can use up to eight
characters which is an ideal balance
between giving enough information while
being able to quickly scan the display.
The display shows the selected
destination in yellow and its current
source in green, and while making a
selection it also displays the preset
source. The display also conveys various
status information, keeping you fully
informed. If a destination is locked or
protected, the source name will change
to red or magenta, respectively, and the
display can even indicate which panel
owns the lock or protect function.
Level Control for Simple
Implementation of Breakaways
These panels provide access to all
levels by pressing the level button.
Any combination of levels can be set
up and then the signal routing can be
accomplished in the traditional way.
Ethernet or Serial Connection to
Adapt to Your System Demands
These panels connect via either Ethernet
or RS-422 serial links without the need to
purchase additional options.

Shallow Form Factor
Desk mounting with these panels could not be simpler. With
their shallow profiles they take up less space, or little more
space, than the thickness of the desktop.
AC or DC Operation
These panels can be run from mains AC power or optionally
from DC power. This can be useful for systems where space is
a premium or where power dissipation must be minimized.
