PRODUCT DATA SHEET
High-density, simple to use, button-
per-source routing control panels with
illuminated relegendable buttons which
tell you their function through their
illuminated color.
KEY FEATURES
Jupiter Control
Panels S25 & S50
BUTTON-PER-SOURCE
ROUTER CONTROL PANELS
These two powerful button-per-source
(BPS) panels provide direct access to
a set of sources. The source set can
be defined by the user for maximum
flexibility. These panels are ideal for areas
where rapid source selection is required
as they provide push-to-select operation.
Legendable Buttons for
Customizable Deployment
The buttons on these panels can be
re-labeled by simply removing the caps
and inserting clear film labels which can
be printed on many office printers. The
labels can provide the source identity, for
example.
Color Coding for Rapid
Assimilation of Functions
These panels have LED color-coded
buttons. These show whether they are
source buttons or destination buttons.
They also show when a source is locked
or protected to a destination by another
panel.
Multiple Destinations for
Increased Flexibility
Although each of these panels can be
used in the classic single-destination BPS
mode, it is also possible to configure the
panels to work in a multiple destination
configuration. In this configuration four
or eight of the level buttons are used
as destination buttons. You can use the
panel as a classic BPS panel for one
destination with all the advantages of
speed that the direct press-for-source
operation provides. Then simply select
another destination’s button and the
panel now provides BPS operation for
that destination instead.
Level Control for Simple
Implementation of Breakaways
These panels provide access to eight
levels. By selecting a level button at any
point, that level is deselected creating
a breakaway. Any combination of the
eight levels can be set up and then the
signal routing can be accomplished in
the traditional way. With the built-in
illumination showing which levels are
active and which not, the operation is
kept neat and clear.
Ethernet or Serial Connection to
Adapt to Your System Demands
These panels connect via either Ethernet
or RS-422 serial links without the need to
purchase additional options.
Shallow Form Factor
Desk mounting with these panels could
not be simpler. With their shallow 38 mm
(1.5 in.) profile they take up less space,
or little more space, than the thickness of
the desktop.
AC or DC Operation
These panels can be run from mains AC
power or optionally from DC power. This
can be useful for systems where space
is a premium or where power dissipation
must be minimized.
