PRODUCT DATA SHEET
Instant access to up to 100 sources
with a host of advanced functions, this
panel is a high-density powerhouse.
KEY FEATURES
Jupiter Control
Panel S100
L A R G E - C A PAC I T Y
BUTTON-PER-SOURCE PANEL
The Jupiter™S100 router control panel is
a feature-rich, button-per-source panel.
With up to 100 sources directly available
in just 2 RU, this is the highest density
panel. Add to this a host of additional
functions and the high-resolution displays
to provide detailed status and you have a
powerful BPS solution.
Legendable Buttons for
Customizable Deployment
The buttons on the S100 panel can be
re-labeled by simply removing the caps
and inserting clear film labels which can
be printed on many office printers. The
labels can indicate the source identity, for
example.
High-Resolution Display with
Color Coding for Razor-Sharp
Operation
The S100 panel has LED color-coded
illuminated buttons and a color-coded
high-resolution display. Any source
or destination can use up to eight
characters, which is an ideal balance
between giving enough information while
being able to quickly scan the display. The
display shows the selected destination
in yellow and its current source in
green, and while making a selection
it also displays the preset source. The
display also conveys various status
information, keeping you fully informed.
If a destination is locked or protected,
the source name will change to red or
magenta, respectively, and the display
can even indicate which panel owns the
lock or protect function.
Multiple Destinations for
Increased Flexibility
Although this panel can be used in the
classic single-destination BPS mode, it
is also possible to configure the S100
panel to work in a multiple-destination
configuration. Two or more of the main
button blocks can be configured as
destinations while the remaining buttons
can still select sources. You can use the
panel as a classic BPS panel for one
destination with all the advantages of
speed that the direct press-for-source
operation provides. Then simply select
another destination’s button and the
panel provides BPS operation for that
destination instead.
Ethernet or Serial Connection to
Adapt to Your System Demands
This panel connects via either Ethernet
or RS-422 serial links without the need to
purchase additional options.
Shallow Form Factor
Desk mounting with the S100 panel
could not be simpler. With their shallow
38 mm (1.5 in.) profile they take up less
space, or little more space, than the
thickness of the desktop.

Sequences for Complex Control in One Button Push
The S100 panel can be used to launch sequences. One button
can be assigned to set up a default routing pattern suitable
for the start of operations or as a single-button control for
use during a crucial task. Each button can be programmed
to trigger a sequence, allowing the panel to be deployed
as a reconfiguration selector with each button setting up a
programmed set of paths.
AC or DC Operation
This panel can be run from mains AC power or optionally from
DC power. This can be useful for systems where space is a
premium or where power dissipation must be minimized.
