To reduce the risk of injury when using this
tool:
• Make sure incoming air pressure does
not exceed maximum rating of 250
PSI. Otherwise fittings could crack or
explode.
• Protect your eyes by wearing safety
glasses or a face shield when assem-
bling and using hose reel.
• Pressurized air may cause injury to
exposed body parts. Never expose any
part of your body to pressurized air.
• Make sure hose reel is firmly mounted to
a stable surface before pressurizing.

Introduction
The Model T26857 Air Hose Reel can be mount-
ed on nearly any flat surface, including floors,
workbenches, walls, and ceilings. It is equipped
with 30' of 3⁄8" air hose, but it can accommodate
hose lengths up to 50'.

1. Attach handle to air hose reel assembly with
M6-1 X 12mm Phillips head screws and M6-1
lock nuts (see Figure 2).

Handle
The strongest mounting option is a "Through
Mount" (see Figure 4) where holes are drilled all
the way through the workbench—and hex bolts,
washers, and hex nuts are used to secure the
machine in place.

Mounting Holes
The base of the Model T26857 has mounting
holes (see Figure 3) that allow it to be fastened to
a workbench or other mounting surface to prevent
it from moving during operation and causing acci-
dental injury or damage.

Another option is a "Direct Mount" (see Figure
5) where the machine is secured directly to the
workbench with lag screws and washers.

To mount reel:
1. Place reel in desired position and mark loca-
tions of mounting holes.
2. Remove reel and drill 3⁄8" holes in locations
marked in Step 1.
3. Use 3⁄8" diameter mounting hardware to
secure reel.
Operation
1. Connect air compressor hose to air inlet fit-
ting on reel (see Figure 6).

2. Connect air tool to other end of hose.
3. Use handle on air hose reel to unwind
required amount of hose for operation.
4. When finished, disconnect tool and rewind air
hose.

2. Disconnect from air supply before servicing.
3. Wear ANSI-approved eye protection.
4. DO NOT exceed maximum pressure rating of 250 PSI.
5. Only attach hose reel to air supply with flexible hose.
Solid pipe may fail due to vibrations caused during
reeling of hose.
6. Prevent unauthorized use by children or untrained
users.
