Responsible disposal of the packaging
The packaging of your appliance has been selected from environmentally
friendly materials and can usually be recycled. Please ensure these are
disposed of correctly.
Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young
children, please ensure all packaging materials are out of reach and
are safely disposed of. Please ensure they are offered for recycling rather
than throwing these materials away.
Responsible disposal of the appliance
At the end of its working life, do not throw this appliance out with your
household rubbish. An environmentally friendly method of disposal will
ensure that valuable raw materials can be recovered and used again.
Electrical and electronic appliances contain materials and substances
which, if handled or disposed of incorrectly, could be potentially
hazardous on the environment and human health.
Observe any local regulations regarding the disposal of electrical
consumer goods and dispose of it appropriately. Contact your local
authorities for advice on recycling facilities in your area.
The plug must be rendered useless and the cable cut off directly behind
the appliance or the machine to prevent misuse.

Please follow all the safety precautions
listed below for safety and to reduce the
risk of injury or electrical shock.
•Read all the instructions before operating
the appliance and keep them for future
reference. If you pass the product on to
a third party, include these instructions.
•Your fan should be used in such a way
that it is protected from moisture, e.g.
condensation, splashed water, etc. Do
not place or store your fan where it can
fall or be pulled into water or any other
liquid.
•Stand the fan on a stable, level surface
during use. Do not allow your fan to sit
on top of the mains cable.
•Do not remove any fixed covers. Never
use this appliance if it is not working
properly, or if it has been dropped or
damaged. Always contact a qualified
technician to carry out repairs. If the
mains cable is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent, or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
•If the fan is knocked over during use,
turn off the unit and unplug it from the
mains socket immediately.
•Do not operate your fan in the bathroom.
•Do not use hazardous chemicals to
clean or come into contact with the fan.
Never attempt to use the fan without the
base parts assembled or in a horizontal
position.
•This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.

that they do not play with the appliance.
•Never allow children to point their fingers
into any power sockets or moving parts.

•Do not operate this appliance with
anything other than your hands. Do not
use the appliance with wet hands.
•For fans that require assembling, to
avoid personal injury, please ensure
the product has been fully assembled
according to the instructions within this
manual.
•The appliance is for household and
indoor use only.
•When the appliance is not in use and/
or before cleaning, unplug it from the
outlet first.
•The appliance is only intended for the
purpose described in the user manual.

Do not use the appliance or any part of
the appliance out of the intended use to
avoid risk.
•The use of attachments which are not
recommended or sold by the appliance
manufacturer may cause a risk of injury
to persons.
•Fan slots and oscillating feature are a
potential finger entrapment hazard for
toddlers and small children. Parental
supervision is required.
•When the fan is assembled, the fan
guard should not be taken off anymore.

Remove all items from the packaging. Retain the packaging. If you
dispose of it please do so according to local regulations.

Basic Set Up
Tools required: Use Philips style screwdriver to assemble and secure.

1. Insert the motor unit into the base, make sure the locking tabs click
into position. Attach the screw on the base bottom and tighten it to
secure the motor unit to the base.
2. Detach the lock washer from the motor unit. Then insert the rear
guard and screw back the lock washer.

3. Insert the blade into the motor shaft, make sure the snap rings are
fitted inside the blade.
4. Attach the front guard to the rear guard by the clips, then tighten the
fan guards with the screw.

Operation Instructions
•Press the SPEED BUTTON for the required fan speed. The following
settings are available:
0 - The Fan is switched Off
1 - The Fan operates at the lowest speed
2 - The Fan operates at the highest speed
•To make the fan head oscillate, push the OSCILLATING CONTROL
down. To stop the oscillation, pull the OSCILLATING CONTROL up.
•The head of the fan can be adjusted up or down. To do this:
1. Loosen the ADJUSTING CONTROL.
2. Adjust the fan to the desired angle.
3. Tighten the ADJUSTING CONTROL.

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The force of air coming from
the unit is weak.
Adjust the speed up to a higher
setting.
The unit does not work. Check that the plug is connected
correctly and that the unit is turned
on at the mains supply.
Other abnormal conditions. Disconnect the fan from the wall and
consult a repair specialist.

Care and Maintenance
•Unplug the unit from the mains socket.
•Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the outer body of the unit.
•Never completely cover the unit with water or use chemicals or
detergents as they could damage the unit in some way.
