2. Safety Notes
•The product is intended for private, non-
commercial use only.
•Use the product for its intended purpose only.
•Protect the product from dirt, moisture and
overheating, and only use it in a dry environment.
•Lay all cables so that they do not pose a tripping
hazard.
•Do not bend or crush the cable.
•Do not drop the product and do not expose it to
any major shocks.
•Keep the packaging material out of the reach of
children due to the risk of suffocation.
•Children are not permitted to play with the
device. Children may not clean the product or
perform user maintenance without supervision.
•Dispose of packaging material immediately
according to locally applicable regulations.
•Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so
voids the warranty.
Warning – Charging station
•Only connect the product to a socket that has
been approved for the device. The socket must
be installed close to the product and easily
accessible.
• Do not continue to operate the device if it
becomes visibly damaged.
•Do not attempt to service or repair the product
yourself. Leave any and all service work to
qualied experts.
Note
•The product may only be operated with the
included power supply unit.
•Use the two charging cradles only for charging
original Sony DualShock 4 controllers.
•Remove a controller from the charging station
once it is fully charged.
•Take care when plugging in the controllers to
line up the plugs and sockets neatly to avoid
causing damage or wear.

3. Before Getting Started
The Black Thunder charging station can be mounted
or attached in two different ways:
•Teon feet (G)
If you will often need to move the charging
station around, use this method. The Teon-
rubber feet will not scratch or damage surfaces
and the charging station can be used anywhere.
•3M adhesive pad (H)
If you will only ever need to use the charging
station in one particular place, e.g. next to your
console, then use the 3M adhesive strip to mount
it. This will prevent the charging station from
sliding or toppling over when you connect or
disconnect a device. The quality 3M adhesive is
always residue-free, even if the charging station
has been attached to a surface for a long time.
Note
Before using the charging station for the rst
time, decide which attachment method you are
going to use.
4. Getting Started and Operation
4.1. Installation
Using the Teflon feet (F)
•Carefully peel the protective lm away from the
underside of each foot.
•Place the 6 feet over the markings on the
underside of the charging station and press them
gently to attach.
Using the 3M adhesive pad (G)
•Peel off the foil with the 3M label and place the
adhesive pad on the underside of the charging
station right next to its product label.
Note
•Before using the 3M adhesive pad, ensure that
the surface of the intended place of installation
is suitable. Extremely delicate surface coatings
(such as paint or lacquer nish) can be
damaged and ake off when the adhesive pad
is removed.
•Do not place the adhesive pad over the
product label, since this may cover up
important information about the product that
you may need in the future (e.g. for receiving
customer support).
•Then peel off the foil with Nitto No.5000NS
printed on it. Finally, press the charging station
onto the spot where you wish it to remain.
4.2. Connecting the charging station and
terminal devices
•First insert the plug of the power supply unit (K)
into the power supply socket (L) of the charging
station.
•Then plug the power supply unit (J) into an
approved and easily accessible mains socket. The
two charge indicator LEDs C & D) ash once to
signal that the power supply is active.
•Place your Sony DualShock 4 controller(s) onto
the charging cradle(s) (A & B) of the charging
station.
•The two charge indicator LEDs (C & D) show the
charge level of the controllers. See section 5 for

charge other devices.
