•Press the CHANNEL button (B) repeatedly to set the same
channel as on the outdoor sensor in question. Channel CH1,
CH2 or CH3 is displayed.
•If the symbol appears, the weather station automatically
changes the channel display every 5seconds.
6.4 Manual settings
Press and hold the MODE button (A) for around 3seconds to carry
out the following settings in sequence:
•Time zone
•Language (day of the week: German, French, Spanish, Italian,
Danish, Dutch, English)
•12/24-hour format
•Year
•Month
•Day
•Hours Minutes
•°C and °F display
To select the individual values, press the UP button (E) or the
DOWN button (F) and conrm your selection by pressing the
MODE button (A).
Press the MODE button (A) directly to adopt and skip the displayed
value.
If no entries aremade for 30 seconds, the clock automatically exits
settings mode.
Note -time zone
•The DCF signal can be received in many places, however it
does not always correspond to the CET applicable in Germany.
Youshould thereforeremember to take into account the time
difference in countries with adifferent time zone.
•Moscow,for example, is 3hours ahead of Germany.Set the
time to the time zone +3. The clock will then automatically
set itself 3hours ahead of the time received from the DCF
signal or the time set manually.
Note -day of the week
Forthe display of the days of the week, you can choose German
(GER), English (ENG), French (FRE), Italian (ITA), Spanish (SPA),
Dutch (DUT) or Danish (DAN).
6.5 Selecting the country and cities
Hold the TEST button (D) down for around 3seconds. COUNTRY
appears in the display (17) and starts to ash. Then press the UP
button (E) or DOWN button (F) to select the country. Example:If
GER appears in the information window,this means that you have
selected "Germany".
Press the MODE button (A) to conrm the country.After selecting
"Germany", CITYappears in the information window.Then press the
UP button (E) or DOWN button (F) to select the city.The city name
is displayed in the information window.
Example: FRM means "Frankfurt am Main".
Press the TEST button (D) to conrm the setting. The selected city is
immediately displayed in the information window.
Activating favourites
Once you have dened the city as described above, you can select
other cities for easy access. Instead of ending the setting process
with the MODE button (A), proceed as follows:
•If "Frankfurt am Main" is one of your preferred cities, press the
TEST button (D) to conrm this. A is displayed above the
selected city and it is stored in your personal list of selected
cities. Youcan now use the UP button (E) or DOWN button
(F) to select further cities in the same country and conrm your
selections with the TEST button (D) .
•If you wish to select cities from various countries, you must exit
the setting process using the MODE button (A) and call it up
again as described above to change the country.
•Youcan select up to FIVE cities as favourites.
•Once you have made all settings, press the MODE button (A) to
conrm the settings and exit settings mode.
Note
If you skip the city selection option when you rst insert the
batteries, the city selection defaults to "Frankfurt am Main
-FRM".
Displaying favourites
If you have selected morethan one city as afavourite, press the
DOWN button (F) to toggle between the various city names in the
favourites list.
Removing acity from the list of favourites
•Hold the TEST button (D) down for around 3seconds.
COUNTRY starts to ash. Then press the UP button (E) or
DOWN button (F) to select the country.Press the MODE button
(A) to conrm the country.Use the UP button (E) or DOWN
button (F) to switch to your selected city with the .
•Press the TEST button (D) to remove the .The city has been
removed from the favourites. Repeat the process if you wish to
remove further cities from the list. Youcan now also use the UP
button (E) or DOWN button (F) to select afurther preferred city.
If you select morethan ve cities, the rst selected city is deleted
from the favourites list.
•Once you have made all changes, press the MODE button (A)
to exit the menu.
6.6 Alarm clock
Alarm signal on week days:
•This is arecurring alarm signal that is triggered daily from
Monday to Friday at adened time.
