Replacement:
1. Securethelifebuoywithacord.Thisisagoodopportunitytotestthelifebuoyfunctionbyactivating
theReleaseSwitchorpullingthemanualsafetypin.
2. DismounttheERU–usexedspannersize8.DiscardtheusedERU
inanenvironmentallyapprovedmanner.MakesurethatthenewERU
iscorrectlymarkedbeforeinstallation.MountthenewERU–donot
tightenthenuts!
3. Unscrewthelockingscrewforthereleasescrewandremovetheoldreleasecord.Mountthenew
releasecord.Theendsofthereleasecordcanbelockedduringinstallationbypullingthecordends
intotheV-slot.Makesurethatthelengthofthecordis20cmandthatthecordwillbewelllockedby
thewasherbeforeyoutightenthelockingscrewagain.

4. PutalifebuoyintotheGRPholder,butonly2/3intotheholderandthensecureitwithacordorby
hand.UsethesuppliedthinwhitepilotlinetopullthereleasecordthroughtheH20ERUreleaseunit.
Makesurethatthelifebuoylineisnotontheoutwardsideofthereleasecord!
5. PullupthereleasecordthroughtheERUholewiththepilotline.Secureitwiththemanualsafety
pin.
6. ConnecttheERUcableattheconnectorbox.
7. Thesystemisnowreadytobeused.TheERUshallbechangedaftertwoyearsofservice.
