Ensamble la luminaria
NOTA: La cabeza de la luminaria debe caber
en un poste común de 4 x 4 pulg. ( 10 x 10 cm).
Las dimensiones reales del poste: 3 5/8 x 3 5/8
pulg. (9.20 x 9.20 cm).

ƑDeslice rmemente el ensamblaje de la luminaria (A, B, y C )
en el gancho del poste (D) hasta que quede al nivel.
ƑColoque la luminaria y el ensamblaje del gancho del poste
(A, B, C, y D) en el poste seleccionado alineando el poste
con la apertura del fondo del gancho del poste (D). Coloque
la luminaria sobre el poste.
ƑUse una pluma o lápiz para marcar en el poste los dos
oricios en los lados del gancho del poste (D). Quite el
ensamblaje de la luminaria.
ƑTaladre oricios pilotos en el poste donde hizo las marcas
con la pluma o el lápiz.
ƑDeslice el ensamblaje de la luminaria y el gancho del poste
(A, B, C y D) sobre el poste. Inserte los tornillos (AA).
Apriételos rmemente.

ƑAlinee las pestañas en el lente (B) con las salientes de la
cabeza de la luminaria (A) y gire la cabeza de la luminaria
en sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta que las pestañas
queden aseguradas debajo de las salientes.
ƑAlinee las pestañas en la pantalla (C) con las salientes en
la cabeza de la luminaria (A) y gire la cabeza de la luminaria
(A) en sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta que las
pestañas queden aseguradas debajo de las salientes.
NOTA: es posible que algunas piezas ya
estén ensambladas.

Uso por primera vez
1Reemplazo de la batería
ƑRetire la cabeza de la luminaria (A) de la pantalla (C).
ƑExtraiga la pestaña (1) que se encuentra entre la batería
y su conector.
ƑEs necesario cargar la lámpara solar a la luz directa del
sol durante 8 a 12 horas para permitir que la batería
recargable alcance su capacidad máxima. Para un
rendimiento óptimo, permita que la batería se cargue bajo
la luz directa del sol.
ƑRetire la cabeza de la luminaria (A) de la pantalla (C).
ƑRetire el lente (B) de la cabeza de la luminaria (A).
ƑPresione la pestaña desenganchadora. Levante y extraiga
la cubierta de la batería (F).
ƑExtraiga la batería agotada y reemplácela con una batería
recargable nueva tipo 3.2 V, 600 (14500) mAh de litio de fosfato.
ƑColoque de nuevo la cubierta de la batería (F).
ƑColoque el lente (B) a la cabeza de la luminaria (A).
ƑColoque de nuevo la cabeza de la luminaria (A) en la
pantalla (C).

ƑAlinee el adaptador para instalar en pretil (E) sobre el
pretil seleccionado.
ƑUse una pluma o lápiz para marcarle los dos oricios y
retire el adaptador para instalar en pretil (E).
ƑTaladre dos oricios piloto en el pretil donde hizo las marcas
con pluma o lápiz.
ƑInserte anclas de plástico (CC).
ƑInserte los tornillos (BB) a través del adaptador para instalar
en pretil (E) y los oricios piloto del pretil. Apriételos
rmemente.
ƑFirmemente deslice el ensamble de la luminaria y gancho
del poste (A, B, C y D) sobre el adaptador para instalar en
pretil (E) hasta que quede al nivel.
ƑInserte los tornillos (AA) a través de los oricios de los
lados del gancho del poste (D) y el adaptador para montar
sobre pretil (E). Apriételos rmemente.

¿Qué tipo de mantenimiento debería darles a las luminarias?
Aunque no es obligatorio, algunas personas optan por limpiar periódicamente sus luminarias. Esto puede hacerse con jabón sin
abrasivos, esponja y agua. También quizás necesite cambiarles las baterías.
¿Necesitaré o podré cambiarle el foco LED a mi luminaria solar?
Las luminarias solares contienen focos LED (diodos emisores de luz) debido a su larga vida y bajo consumo de energía. El foco
LED no es reemplazable.
¿Cuánto durarán mis baterías o las luminarias?
Las baterías de litio deben durar 1,500 ciclos diarios; los focos LED deben durar 20 años.

La luminaria no enciende.
Problema
ƑHay un plástico sobre la celda solar.
ƑNo retiró la pestaña.
ƑLas baterías están sucias.
ƑLas baterías están agotadas.
Causa probable
ƑAsegúrese de que no haya ningún plástico
sobre la celda solar.
ƑAsegúrese de retirar la pestaña.
ƑRetire las baterías, limpie ambos extremos con
un paño limpio y seco, y colóquelas de nuevo
en su sitio.
ƑPruebe las baterías sustituyéndolas con baterías

habitación oscura. NO deje las baterías alcalinas

WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this xture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when installed and used under
normal operating conditions for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers all component parts and
extends only to the replacement of a defective xture or components; it does not cover failure due to improper installation,
misuse, mishandling, or damage incurred in transit.

Assembly
Assembling the light
NOTE: Light head should t on a common 4 x 4
inch post. Actual post measurement: 3-5/8
x 3-5/8 in.

ƑFirmly slide the light assembly (A, B and C) on top of the
post mount (D) until it is ush.
ƑAttach the light and post mount assembly (A, B, C and D)
to the selected post by aligning the post with the opening
in the bottom of the post mount (D). Set the light onto
the post.
ƑUse a pen or pencil to trace the two holes located on
the sides of the post mount (D) onto the post. Remove
the light assembly.
ƑPre-drill pilot holes onto the post where your pen/pencil
marks were made.
ƑSlide the light and post mount assembly (A, B, C and D)
onto the post. Insert the screws (AA). Tighten until secure.

ƑAlign the tabs on the lens (B) with the ledges on the light
head (A) and turn the light head (A) clockwise until tabs
are secure under ledges.
ƑAlign the tabs on the shade (C) with the ledges on the
light head (A) and turn the light head (A) clockwise until
tabs are secure under ledges.
NOTE: Some parts may come pre-assembled.

First time use
1Replacing the battery
ƑRemove the light head (A) from the shade (C).
ƑRemove the pull tab (1) in between the battery and its
connector.
ƑThe solar light needs to charge in full sunlight for 8 - 12
hours to allow the rechargeable battery to reach
maximum capacity. For optimum performance, allow
the battery to charge in full sunlight.
ƑRemove the light head (A) from the shade (C).
ƑRemove the lens (B) from the light head (A).
ƑPress the release tab. Pull up and remove the battery
cover (F).
ƑRemove the old battery and replace with a new lithium
phosphate 3.2V, 600 (14500) mAh rechargeable battery.
ƑReturn the battery cover (F).
ƑReturn the lens (B) to the light head (A).
ƑReturn the light head (A) to the shade (C).

Mounting to a rail

ƑAlign the rail mount adapter (E) onto the selected rail.
ƑUse a pen or pencil to trace the two holes onto the rail
and remove the rail mount adapter (E).
ƑPre-drill pilot holes onto the rail where your pen/pencil
marks were made.
ƑInsert plastic anchors (CC).
ƑInsert screws (BB) through the rail mount adapter (E)
and the pilot holes in the rail. Tighten until secure.
ƑFirmly slide the light and post mount assembly
(A, B, C and D) on top of the rail mount adapter (E) until
it is ush.
ƑInsert screws (AA) through the holes on the sides of the
post mount (D) and rail mount adapter (E). Tighten
until secure.

FAQ
What type of maintenance should I perform on the lights?
Although it is not mandatory, some people choose to periodically clean their lights. This can be done with a nonabrasive soap,
sponge and water. You may also need to replace the batteries.
Will I need to / can I replace the LED in my solar light?
The solar lights have LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) because of their long lifetime and low power consumption. The LED is not
replaceable.
How long will my batteries / lights last?
Lithium batteries should last for 1500 daily cycles and the LED bulbs should last 20 years.

The light does not come on.
Problem
ƑThere is plastic over the solar cell.
ƑThe pull tab was not removed.
ƑThe batteries are dirty.
ƑThe batteries are dead.
Possible Cause
ƑMake sure there is no plastic over the
solar cell.
ƑMake sure that the pull tab is removed.
ƑRemove batteries, wipe both ends with
a clean dry cloth, and replace batteries.
ƑTest batteries by replacing with alkaline
batteries and placing the light in a dark
room. DO NOT leave the alkaline
batteries in the light. Replace with new
batteries if needed.
