HOW TO WIN: Chomp the Golden Marble!

HIP! HIP! HIPPO-RAY!
Assembled and ready to play
Hippos: Remove each Hippo by pressing in to slide it out from the tabs. Then lift each
Hippo out at an angle. Flip over the game board.
Pick a Hippo: Choose a Hippo. The Golden Marble can be placed in any marble
release area.
Launch the Marbles: Press the marble launchers to release all the marbles at
the same time.
Chomp Away: Press and release your Hippo’s tail to start chomping! All players
play at the same time. Be the first Hippo to chomp the Golden Marble to win!
MARBLE STORAGE: Take the
marbles out of the game. Turn the
game board over and place the
marbles in the center storage tray.
Close the lid.
HIPPO STORAGE: Place each Hippo
into the corners of the game base.
Angle the Hippo into each side tab to
lock it in place.
When you’re
done, the game
should look
like this...
and will fit
neatly back
in the box.
HIPPO NECKS: Lock its neck in place
by pressing the Hippo’s tail and lifting
the neck up and onto the front tab.
HIPPO REMOVAL: Pinch the tabs to
remove each Hippo from the game base.
Launch all the marbles at once. All players quickly press on the tails of their
Hippos to chomp the most marbles. When all of the marbles have been gobbled
up, the player with the most marbles wins!
Release one marble at a time. All players try to make their Hippos gobble that
marble. When that marble has been gobbled, the next player releases a marble
until all of them are gone. The player with the most marbles wins!
If this is your first time playing
go to steps 3-8 go to steps 6-8
You’ve already played before
Labels: Apply the matching-color
name and eye label to each Hippo.
Hippo Bodies: Attach each Hippo by sliding its front tabs into
the game base. Press down and in to lock the Hippo into place.
Wake up the Hippos: To get each Hippo ready for play, hold down
its tail and pull its neck out and down to release it from the tab.
Press and release the Hippo’s tail a few times.
Marbles: Put 5 marbles into each
marble release area.
Marble Launchers: Insert each of the four marble launchers
into the game base.
Hippo Heads: Attach each Hippo head by tting the peg into the
hole on one side and then rotating it and attaching the other side.
