demo baeries with fresh 4 x 1.5V AA size
alkaline baeries.
Slide the ON/OFF/TRY ME
switch on the boom of your
kiy’s foot to the ON position.
Use a Phillips/cross head
screwdriver (not included)
to loosen screws in baery
compartment covers (screw
remains aached to cover).
Remove covers. Insert new
baeries. Replace covers and
tighten screws.

1. Wave kiy’s toy or your hand near her
forehead, pet her forehead or just get
close to her.
2. Press her back.
3. Squeeze her front right paw.
She could react in so many
fun ways...
Squeeze front right paw twice
in a row, and she’ll sing a meow
melody. To switch out of this
mode, wait about 6 seconds or
press her back, or squeeze her
front right paw again.
NOTE: Make sure you’re
close to her so she can sense
you’re there.

Cudle ode
Press her back twice in a row for CUDDLE MODE.
When you’re ready for active play, squeeze her
front right paw or stop pressing her back for about
8 seconds.
lep/Time Out ode
Aer about 45 seconds of inactivity, DAISY goes into
SLEEP MODE. You can also activate sleep mode by
holding down her back sensor for about 3 seconds. To
return to play mode, press her back or squeeze her
front right paw.
NOTE: Light sensor won’t respond in SLEEP
MODE. Squeeze her front right paw or press her
back to wake her up.

position to conserve baery life.
• Tohelpconservebaerylifewhen
you’re not playing with toy, be sure nothing is
pressing down on any sensors.
• Forbestperformance,useonhard,level,
smooth surface, away from direct sunlight.
• IfsheisturnedONbutdoesn’trespondwhen
you’re near, she might be sleeping. Press her
back sensor or squeeze her front right paw to
“wake” her up.
• Ifshestilldoesn’tfunctionproperly,restartby
moving the ON/OFF/TRY ME switch to OFF
position for a few seconds, then back to ON, and
press her back sensor or squeeze her front right
paw. It may be time to change the baeries.
• Tointerruptanaction,pressherbackorher
front right paw and she’ll begin a new action.
However, she’ll complete her actions and can’t
be interrupted while in CUDDLE MODE.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
CAUTION:
1. TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE
a. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use
only batteries specified and be sure to insert
them correctly by matching the + and – polarity
markings.
b. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries or
standard (carbon-zinc) with alkaline batteries.
c. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the
product.
d. Remove batteries if product is not to be played
with for a long time.
e. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
f. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these
with any other types of batteries. Always remove
from the product before recharging. Recharge
batteries under adult supervision. DO NOT
RECHARGE OTHER TYPES OF BATTERIES.
2. Should this product cause, or be affected by, local
electrical interference, move it away from other
electrical equipment. Reset (switching off and back
on again or removing and re-inserting batteries) if
necessary.
